Reviews of 100 Club
F. B.
Intimate and old school venue. It's great knowing how long this place has been around, and the low key vibe is very relaxing and not overwhelming. Nice and unassuming. The bar is good with a good yet humble selection of drinks. We saw Ten Years After perform here and the sound quality was good too. Had a great time. 🔊🎸 Only gave it 4 stars as if you're short and can't get near the front it could be a tiny bit problematic as the stage isn't very raised! Not a major issue though 😊
G. P.
It's 1985, the cloakroom uses a collection of random hangers and raffle tickets. The glasses are plastic, but the beers cheap and the music is superb. Small, personal and oozing character. A genuine throwback and the better for it.
D. P.
Proper old school venue with a fantastic band and legendary blues artist, Mud Morganfield. The pianist stole the show for me with his ability to read the flow of the band and entertain the crowd.
C. H.
Great music venue. Been twice in a short period. Excellent.
P. R.
Dr. Feelgood at the 100 Club as part of the London Blues Festival. Top night out in this historic and iconic music venue.
D. S.
Top notch! Fantastic venue, went to see the rock band, inhaler and no matter where you stood, you was always close to the stage. Alcohol also very fairly priced. Staff were all friendly. Great night out.
S. J.
Great atmosphere. Good bar, friendly staff, audience can get close to stage, excellent sound system. Brilliant music venue!
B. W.
The 100 Club live performance venue continues to provide the traditional roll your sleeves up gig experience in which the audience plays an integral part.
No aires and graces but safe environment, bar at each end of the stage so no scrambles and the staff are friendly and helpfull.
Hats off to the Sound Engineer who worked his magic with, on the evening we visited, 3 music genres .
Slight restricted stage view with 1 x column centre stage but small compromise to accept
overall.
I will return and would recommend you give it a go
D.
A great little venue with lots of history. They serve decent beer, too! Good acoustics. As it's so small it doesn't matter where you stand. There are a handful of seats on the sides if you need them & I think they can be reserved beforehand. They always have a wide variety of acts billed across genres with a lot of tribute acts, too.
A. G.
Went to see Pop Will Eat Itself. Was so amazed at the history of this venue. The photographs on the walls are clear evidence of some of the amazing gigs held at this venue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stage is so low that even I could see the bands ( I am very short). Excellent place to see live music.
M. M.
Had a great night . British funk association played all the classic funk jazz tracks that took me back to crackers days and those great Light of the World gigs over the decades
J. T.
Great venue. Good air con. Reasonable priced drinks. Fantastic band. Dr feelgood 👍
C. R.
Excellent atmosphere! Feel this place needs a few more visits as we went on a relatively quiet night. Enjoyed looking around at all the pictures - great history
M. P.
Let's be honest. The lighting is piss poor pink and blue led that kills every photo. The three pillars ruin the view and the sound at the back of the room is mud. However, the place is legendary and you feel it in the venue. If you're in the right position, the sound is great. If not, go to the bar area where there is a monitor speaker aimed at you. If you get there early, stake your claim front of stage and have a great night. 😎👌🌙
A. Z.
The perfect size venue for your gig experience. The atmosphere was great. The selection at the bar is limited, that's the only negative I have about this place. Good night out.
Y. S.
This was my second visit to the 100 Club (my first was in the late Eighties I've still got the T shirt 😊) for an absolutely brilliant Soft Machine gig. Really enjoyed it, staff were helpful, bar service was quick with a good range of beers and even though the club is in a basement, it wasn't crowded and maintaining social distancing was easy. But above all Soft Machine were terrific!
J. M.
Always a fab night in this iconic venue.
N. L. M.
What an iconic venue right in the centre of London. Reasonably priced drinks, good service, and best of all you're right next to the band who inevitably join you after their set. The best intimate environment for really getting up close and personal to enjoy some of the greatest gigs happening in the capital!
J. A.
Great venue for a gig. Staff very friendly.
P. B.
A brilliant independent small/intimate music venue. It is a little tired but none the worse for that.
T. S.
What a great place for live music. Staff most welcoming
S. G.
A superb little venue. Lots of great pictures of all the bands that have played there on the walls. Full of history. Well worth a visit.
R. R.
Brilliant venue! Nice size for a great atmosphere for comedy, cabaret and music. Lovely staff. Good selection of beers and drinks.
h.
Famous venue, steeped in history, in the heart of London's West End. Great place, especially the Tuesday blues night.
H. H.
You feel at home; seems you have invited the artists to your own place, and the bar is great!
R. B.
I love this jazz club, its been my favourite venue since my first visit almost 20 years ago. I look to forward to my next visit.
D. T.

Legendary venue and deservedly so.
Relatively unchanged over the years and all the better for it

Famous venue, steeped in history, in the heart of London's West End. Great place, especially the Tuesday blues night.
B. C.
Brilliant venue and the band were brilliant
M. S.
Iconic venue in central London. About the only one left these days. Hasn't changed in years. Site of some legendary nights and performance's.
S. G.
A superb little venue. Lots of great pictures of all the bands that have played there on the walls. Full of history. Well worth a visit.

M. S.
100 club, love it, iconic, fantastic night out!
M. A.
Great venue hidden away on Oxford Street. Saw knuckledust 25th anniversary show there and it was amazing.
A. H.
Heard great blues here. Photos on walls alone worth visit. Basement club with atmosphere. If you want comfort and style don't go but if it's great music in club with history go.
T. W.
What an amazing night. Great venue and fabulous staff
J. G.
First gig I ever went to was here 1977. Still just as good!
L. S.
Great venue to blow the cobwebs out with a bit of rock n roll ! I think it's the last of its kind in london which is a shame.
E. P.
Super cool venue
Has a rich music history, and still banging after all these years
H. F.
Eine der Topadressen mit Geschichte! has been trading under the same name since 1964 and has put on live music since 1942 as the Feldman Jazz Club amongst other names, earning it the title of the oldest independent venue world wide.
Through out the decades the venue has championed all manors of ground breaking scenes including the blues of Muddy Waters and BB King as well as mod stylings of The Who and The Kinks in the 60s; the birth of punk with the Sex Pistols, The Clash and Siouxsie & The Banshees plus regular reggae sessions from Eddie Grant and The Mighty Diamonds in the 70s; the first ever Northern Soul All Nighter in the 80s; the indie explosion with early shows from Oasis and Suede in the 90s as well as key shows for artists such as The Horrors, Gallows and Kings Of Leon in the 00s.
D. W.
Great small gig venue with proper beers and great acts!
P. P.
Great venue, fantastic atmosphere. Shawn James was awesome
F. R.
One of those places where you have to go at least once in a lifetime, the house of live music ❤️
C. M.
A great little venue with lots of history, great views and acoustics and a good range of beers. If your favourite band is booked to play here, it'd be a crime to miss them.
D. S.
James Taylor Quartet..... Mmmm OK would have been better with a vocalist..... Drinks not bad and service good, like the club has lots of memories and good vibes.
S. W.
Great drink, air conditioning to disperse Covid, Brewdog on tap, great bands and great sound. One of London's jewels in the music scene.
B. I.
Legendary venue and deservedly so.
Relatively unchanged over the years and all the better for it
L. N.
Great venue, full of history. The sound might be better elsewhere, but the atmosphere here weighs up for it.
Reasonable prices.
M. E.
Really cool venue in London with a great heritage. Blink and you'll miss it entrance leads down to an amazing basement club with an atmosphere all of its own giving punters the chance to get up close and personal with the artists.
P. B.
Great live music venue. Not big so you can get up close to the band if you want. Gets very hot and sweaty in there!
J.
great small club vibe
better poetry in the loos here than i studied in gcse english
I. P.
A great live music venue with bags of history. Pictures on the walls show all the great artists and bands that have played here.
Good beers served too.
f.
As ever, brilliant night, courtesy of the World Zombie Day team. Excellent staff and sound man Tony. We had a scream.
s.
Great venue.
L. A.
Amazing intimate venue. Such a greatnplace to see live music
B. S.
Been wanting to come here for a few years and in January 2020 got the chance to see a couple shows and really enjoyed the venue. Has a lot of history musically and a great atmosphere with friendly staff and great sound. Easy to get to from the tube and a short walk away.
M. J.
Great intimate venue, excellent location, and Camden and Brewdog (plus others) on tap.
A. J.
Wonderful, intimate club venue, great history and great atmosphere.
P. M.
Great night had by our group good beer good crowd great band
j. p.
Saw David Devant and his spirit wife with two support bands. Great night at the legendary club.
This what music clubs are meant to be - up close to great music.
The back in history toilets need sorting though.
A. B.
Great night at 100 Club watching The Stems from Australia & The Dials from Brighton. Loads of Power Pop from the Stems & a great 60’s vibe from the Dials. Great small venue steeped in RocknRolll history!! Enjoy!!
G. J.
Truly brilliant venue . Intimate. Ace sound systems
L. K.
Amazing venue, great staff, great acoustics and decent prices on the beers too.
B. R.
Great venue... So very historic!
A. P.
One of the very few live music venues left in London that still keep the exciting atmoshpere of the golden days; drenched with history and vibes, the 100 thankfully was rescued just in time a few years ago and avoided to be disgracefully wiped away like "my" beloved Marquee Club, the Astoria, the Borderline and others. If you love live music, you can't miss the 100 Club.
M. P.
What an iconic intimate venue. Tucked away in the heart of London. Reasonably priced bar and Nandos round the corner.
J. G.
Iconic venue. Not too crowded. Easy to get a drink and no queue for the loo!!
P. W.
Great venue, great staff. Drinks are not anymore expensive than a pub.
S. R.
Great Night watching Menace.....Wel played Boys.......Oh, The New tracks are really Good (Old Punk with Modern Lyrics)
P. B.
Nice location, great place to be with the right band, the club has loads of history, which is worth taking the time to look into, can't believe it's still here, not like other venues in Soho, gone the way of the wrecking ball.
J. M.
The best music venue in town.
P. D.
Amazing place to be entertained by a great crowd and bands
S. S.
Get up close with band and rock out! Good bars as well... Good service all round.
C. M.
An excellent spot. Have had so many great nights here — always something fun on, historic venue with a great vibe and fun people.
M. S.
100 club, love it, iconic, fantastic night out!
A. B.
Great venue .....just seen Bootleg Blondie sound balance not great .....shame but vocals were over powered by drums and bass.
V. B.
A great and quite rare performance by Russ Ballard and his group.
Extremely supportive, enthusiastic and friendly audience which was lovely to be amongst.
V. W.
First time visit to this iconic venue...great place ...will be back when the right acts playing
A. H.
Love this place. Always have a great night here. Bar and door staff are just lovely. And Ray is the bestest sound guy.
D. C.
Iconic London venue that has resisted the lure of a big money sell-out. Situated in the very heart of the West End, this subterranean venue has been home to many of music's greatest artists.
It has a non-pretentious feel inside, authentic 'heritage', great sound and a surprisingly wide stage meaning it's fairly easy to get a good view of the performers, despite the presence of two large pillars. Bar prices are pretty reasonable for Central London.
A must visit if you're a real fan of music.
L. S. O.
Another great night, prices at the bar were so much better than previous years. Met some great people seeing Lions Law.
D.
Great venue with decent beers on tap. Reasonably priced as well
S. C.
Great venue for live bands.
M. T.
A great venue for live music and quick, swift service at the bar to ensure everybody could get back to the stage as quickly as possible. Not a place to find a seat and have a drink, though, so be sure to go for the music rather than the establishment itself.
e. t.
Small underground venue. Very nice ambience. A lot of history. I show the Fuzztones; very nice experience
P. M.
Still as iconic as ever, one of the best live music venues going
T. J.
Utterly amazing venue steeped in musical history. Totally atmospheric, this is London's equivalent of CBGB's.
B. A.
Fantastic venue! Feel and see the music. A must for any serious fan!
L. H.
Great night with Ten Years After 👍🍷
L. H.
Fantastic venue!!
C. L.
Saw Russell Howard! Brilliant little venue!
R. R.
love this place.great intimate venue
j. k.
Great place close to the band and the bar oh and the cloakroom gives you a raffle ticket.
D. C.
Great venue, good sound quality. Up close sort of venue. Drinks are reasonable for a gig venue. Easy access for buses and the underground. Plenty of takeaways and restaurants nearby. Lots of pubs and bars around the location.
M. W.
Absolutely wonderful, great staff great music, old school London.
A. T.
Just brilliant. Everyone should go there at least once. It's music history
R. L.
Brilliant historic venue. Bar was very reasonable for Central London and a good choice of decent beer. It is by far the smallest, most intimate venue I've ever seen any of my favourite bands in. It's like they were playing in front room.
P. B.
Fantastic music venue. It's a small place, the history seeps off the walls and you're close up to the stage which makes the atmosphere even more electric. Good beers on tap and in bottles too... Music fans just have to go here.
J. B. (.
Good location & beer, can get a little warm in there.
D. H.
Iconic venue. Here to see an iconic band. Busted. Perhaps not as logically laid out as the Camden Underworld (ignoring the massive pillar in the mosh pit). By which I mean the stage is the same level as the dancefloor, so could be difficult for shorter people not at the front to see the band. I still enjoyed the venue.
E. A.
Loved the authentic and whimsical atmosphere. You are surrounded by amazing photos and their unique spirit as you listen and dance to your favourite tunes. The location is also so accessible and cool as it helps you enjoy the amazing feeling even after leaving the place.
K. C.
What a fantastic place! Soaked in history. It was an honour to play here and I look forward to returning in the future.
D. H.
Good venue for live music. Great heritage.
J. L.
Good indy venue and intimate setting, sound was good...however the £10 minimum card payment on the bar is an absolute joke in this day and age. Sort that out and you've got a decent venue overall.
N. F.
Great small venue. Up to 300 punters. Reasonably priced bars. Good location. Fantastic history. Atmosphere good. Accusticts/sound fine. Value for money. Only let down was the small public convenience's.
J. S.
Iconic venue , go before it disappears forever
M. L.
Great historic, iconic West End popular music venue. One of the last - if not the last - historic venue following the closure of the Borderline.
It's a bit _'spit and sawdust'_, metaphorically speaking of course, but it still plays host to many great bands and solo artists
G. W. T.
Top venue for proper bands. All the best have played there, deep in the heart of the Capital. None of your manufactured pop p**h here. Discharge were on top form on the night. I will definitely be back for other memorable gigs in the future.
j. b.
Iconic venue. Quite big but with a good layout. The last I went I saw Daddy Long Legs who were great. I had a really good time. The music was great. I got drunk with my friends and struggled to get home :)
G. H.
Great gig venue with loads of history. 100 club has been part of my social life for 35 years. Many happy times. Many great bands have played on that stage and hopefully many more to come !
S. B.
It's the smallest and hottest venue but I love it! Very nice for intimate gigs, a good selection of beers and I've never been in there and they've had too many people. Nice place but what is up with the a/c placement guys!?
T. C.
Excellent bar, questionable toilets, awesome venue for live music
J. L.
A great little music club downstairs in a block on Oxford Street. It smells like a music club, sounds like a music club and serves poorly stored beer in plastic glasses so it is DEFINITELY a music club. Up and coming rock and blues acts, sound-a-likes and once-weres (that sounds better than has-beens doesn't it?). Appropriately disgusting toilets and surprisingly friendly staff...
P. H.
This iconic venue has resisted the urge to sanitise it's appearance. But I don't go to places like this to admire the decor and neither should you. Ignore the old, peeling paintwork and enjoy the music.
It's a wonderfully intimate venue for live music. The tiny stage is steeped in history, documented by the many photographs around the venue. The bar staff are pokies and efficient, and the prices, for central London, pretty reasonable. The toilets could be better but they're not really any worse than your average pub or club.
A great place for live music.
T. G.
Very cool venue. Still got a punk rock vibe to it.
S. H.
Always loved this place, used to visit regularly in 90s but further to travel now so need to plan more. Not terribly disabled friendly but very helpful people there. Fantastic music venue, long may it reign !!!
I. “. S.
Great small venue and still pulls in legendary bands (Wedding Present tonight). Has a good selection of beers on tap, including an oatmeal stout. Can't go wrong!
J. L.
The most iconic Punk House in London well located in Soho. Easy access. The best punk bands performs here. Is you are on the punk world, don’t miss this place. A straight and short walk from China Town
G. A.
Great intimate live music venue. The elongated shape of the room means you are never far from the stage. There are bars at either end of this elongated selling bottled and craft beers on tap (no cask). The toilets are either side of the bar to the left. Do not come here expecting fineries though the cloak and bar staff are polite and efficient. The cloakroom will cost you £2, but as it gets very hot down there (especially at the Bad Manners gig I was at) it is well worth it. You will have a brilliant night here.
G.
It's a little bit worn but it's iconic and I found it remarkably friendly, both staff and audience. Definitely intend to see more shows here. It didn't feel at all like London.
N.
This is a great music venue and a British institution, of course the place is pretty grubby and the drinks are pricey but that is all part of the territory. Sometimes a bit of grime adds to the atmosphere, after all it is a jazz venue!
M. R.
Amazing place with very good live music! Located in between Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road should not be missed. They sell very good craft beer inside there to make your experience absolutely brilliant!
S. C.
Great venue. Easy to get up close and personal to the band playing. Not that big but well worth visiting. Check the listings as there are a lot of great bands playing there. Highly recommend. Very easy to get to as well.
P. C.
Very chill vibe, good amount of space, decent acoustics. Toilets were surprisingly not horrendous, and beer prices weren't ridiculously extortionate (you can get a pint for £5, which is standard for London, but pretty damn good for Oxford Street)
J. H.
Love this place. Seen plenty of gigs here over the years, made all the better for the small size of the venue. They've even improved the beer selection recently!
D. N.
Saw clash Covers band London Calling. A Magic set brought all those pogo frenzy memories back again.. Magic night... The 100 club is a fabbulous small low ceiling venue. It's steeped in musical history. Just like the old days. Recommend this venue. Safe place to pogo. Drink and feel the power...
R. I.
One of London's iconic live music venues, and still one of the best.
I hadn't been for too many years, but recently had the chance to see Karl Blau and I'm looking forward to getting back for some of the great shows they've got scheduled throughout the rest of the year already.
Cloakroom on your way in and a bar at each end means you don't need to get stuck behind too large a queue - and the fact the bars are at either end of the same room means you don't miss anything anyway.
Top notch venue with a regularly great lineup of acts on their way - definitely worth checking out whether you're visiting London briefly or just at a loose end.
W. F.
Great venue a must visit
G. H.
The 100 club is a very famous Jazz and Blues venue. It is essentially a basement club which makes it quite dark and atmospheric. It is well equipped with air conditioning and two bars. Drinks (considering location) are not massively expensive but served in plastic glasses 🙁. Sound quality was surprisingly poor basements don't have a good acoustic to start with, but on our visit the volume and was very high to the extent some notes made things rattle and buzz in the club. Surprising as this was not a rock concert. If you of a certain age bring ear plugs.... In Jazz and Blues less is often more.... Lots of those subtle, complex developments in the music were sacrificed for pure power and volume. 😖 An opportunity missed.
A. G.
Brilliant for live bands but drinks a bit expensive
s. t.
Brilliant venue. My partner and I saw the style councillors there and leah weller sang with them for a couple of songs.
Great night, great venue and great group.
AMAZING 👍👍
l. b.
Simply fantastic. The 100 Club is an iconic venue, trurly one of London's music scene landmarks that's worth to be mentioned; the place is drenched with history thanks to almost half a century of countless bands and artists that graced its tiny stage; along with the Ronnie Scott's, this is the only historical venue in the very heart of London to have survived to this date unlike my beloved Marquee Club, The Astoria and other fantastic places that deserved to be rescued and kept alive as national treasures; at the 100 Club don't expect great service, huge variety of drinks, vanilla-scented lavatories of whatsoever frills, this place is Rock and Roll..!!! Sticky floors, sweaty walls and motley crowd; if you like party atmosphere, good vibes and real live music, this is the place for you.
P. S. (. T.
Great gig. Cool vibe, good beer choices
k. k. s. c.
I love this place. Shabby. Unpretentious. Smelly with Rock n Roll and Jazz history. The many photos on the wall tell the story. My recent visit was to attend a comedy night. To think this place was due to close in 2010. (And many times before and since.) Well, it's still here! Visit the place; just go see something. Help keep an authentic bit of London alive!
R. H.
Great layout so it's easy to get a good view of the stage. Quick service at the bar and interesting and amusing graffiti on the bog walls to read while having a pee.
V. v.
Great hidden Gem off oxford street. Small intimate venue loaded with musical history. Check out the photographs on the walls. Still showcasing great bands from uk and internationally. Blues and rock are a familiar genre.
J. H.
As a promoter and punter I've always regarded this iconic venue as the best small club in town. Always a great sound and a great vibe but most of all great history which you are reminded of by all of the fab photography on the walls. A wee bit scruffy but I wouldn't want it any other way. 5 out of 5 most definitely.
A. D.
Fab old style basement venue at 100 Oxford Street. Go downstairs and back in time to a funky retro / shabby interesting club. Both cosy and good for dancing to some of the great acts. Jazz, indie, comedy, a good variety. There's a bar of course, friendly staff and a good vibe.
G. E.
Toilets are pretty grim. Good sound and Good real ales. Capacity c. 350 with good lines of sight and place has a somewhat punk character. Friendly staff.
i. B.
Not a bad club in London !
Definitely great location, just by the tube station. Other pubs, McDonalds and shops all around.
Is on the underground floor but still freshly aired !
A bit of a messy and wet floor with all of those drinkers around but still all friendly and no fights!
Quick and kind staff also the security!
It gets a bit loud as isn't huge and hard to get through the crowd if u want to get toilet for example.
All in all great fun and easy to find, look out for Roxy club !
P.s. stamps on the hand and 2-5 £ wardrobe, non refundable, Hmm...
r. j.
Fabulous venue - steeped in HISTORY!!!
A. W.
Having been to most London clubs marquee. The rainbow. Venue Victoria. This was my first visit to the 100 club. Wow what a venue. Small friendly and welcoming. It was like stepping back in time to days gone past. Perfect and the history is astonishing. It should be top of the list of must things to do for anyone. Can't wait to go back.
J. B.
Great location to watch a gig in central london, (one of the few that wasn't destroyed by crossrail). Layout is good, a wide stage that allows you to feel close to the band bars at either end of the venue serving a good selection of beer and craft ale.
L. P.
One of the oldest clubs in London been there for decades..So much atmosphere, brilliant and now safe from any redevelopment as Westminster Council have safeguarded it against any alteration.
A.
Famous classic live venue. Lots of music nostalgia and history here. The Pictures on the wall walk you through the club's famous music timeline. A must visit for anyone!
M. H.
Best club in the country. Dj'd at the rare soul allnighters there 20 years ago and still going.
R. H.
Great venue 👌
N. G.
Great gig hidden away
A. F.
Our first time here an epic venue with so much history, proper club as you might say no frills great memorabilia everywhere, we watched A Band Called Malice & The Sex Pistols Experience both fantastic well worth seeing drink prices were very reasonable too, It won't be long before we head back 😉
P. C.
Iconic Venue, saw Marc almond here, had a great night.
I. S.
Great venue to see David Devant & His Spirit Wife. So friendly, happy for you to pop out and in as often as you like. Great door staff. Very helpful. Loved it.
S. P.
Historic intimate venue where you can get up close and personal with the performers. The toilets could do with some modernising but otherwise a worthwhile experience.
M. 7.
Iconic rock venue, a fully deserved description. Proper interaction between the band and crowd. Support real music!!
S. M.
An excellent gig venue that's below ground. It's a good size, wider than it is deep,so everyone is quite close to the stage and there's a bar at each side. A great location.
J. S.
Just been to the 100 club for the first time for about 30 years and it hasn't changed a bit (I'd swear the walls haven't had a lick of paint since then). Great small venue with a great atmosphere and wonderful heritage
A. M.
Very nice venue. Have been there 5 times and will go again. Good sound, relaxed atmosphere. Good music.
p. d.
I love this very old world reknown venue in Oxford Street london, yet another one clawing on to existence.
Well worth a visit to the place where anyone who is anyone has played.. From Jazz to Punk you name them and you can bet your bottom dollar they have played the great 100 Club..
J. A.
Good venue but one supporting pillar in the middle blocks the stage big time. Had some tall bloke who kept flicking his hair in front of me. Annoying AF. Apart from that it was good.
T. C.
Great vanue , there is two bars but the one near the toilet's is closed about 40 min before the end and than means if you need a drink you have make your way through everyone to the other bar . I would have given five star's otherwise.
P. B.
Great music in old shabby underground club
M. B.
We saw the Lancashire Hotpots here - the gig was awesome with a great crowd and atmosphere, the drinks were reasonably priced and served quickly, the staff were friendly and helpful, the toilets were clean and had good graffiti on the walls, it's a good open space so it's easy to find stuff inside, and the location is central and convenient with good transport links.
D. S.
Great iconic venue. With great music venues disappearing left ,right and centre it's great to see this one is still going strong!
M. H. (.
Great venue, beer was on the expensive side, however the sound was good and the cloakroom was cheap and well run. It is good that we still have venues like this in central London.
N. N.
Headline band was Baxter Dury - son of the late Ian, of the 80s band, 'Ian Dury and the Blockheads'.
We arrived on the back of two VIP Tickets. Surprisingly drinks were very reasonably priced.
It was a very polished show sponsored by Fred Perry, and the club was full of the very trendy set on the night.
Fabulous smallish downstairs Club - visit if you can.
J. O.
One of the few remaining small live music venues in London. Lots of history associated with this place. Sometimes hard to get a good view when crowded due to it being long and narrow
H. L.
Full of musical heritage. This venue has an unusual layout, with the stage in the middle side of one longer room, but that means you are never that far from the stage, and with a bar at each end of the room never that far from a bar either.
B. R.
This is the flag ship live music venue in the world. None can compare to its atmosphere, location, professional staff, music variety and history.
T.
Friendly staff, great acoustics. What else does one need for a gig. Oh and The Ukrainians were exceptional. As always...
R. C.
I liked the venue bit cramped as far concerts go (Man With A Mission) but I really liked the bars to either side of the venue had a variety of drinks and they did fizzy as well as alcoholic drinks.
S. W.
Brilliant venue for live music or soul nights out.Small, but friendly with loads of atmosphere.
L. M.
The 100 club was AMAZING awesome venue, went to watch beatenberg who were amazing!!! If you get the chance to go watch a band at this iconic club it's so worth it!!
R. M.
Awesome. Sex Pissed Dolls. Great little club.
T. C.
The 100 Club is legendary for those with even a passing knowledge of musical history but I'm ashamed to say that's taken me this long to actually enter the place. Situated on the Northern fringe of an ever-changing Soho the 100 Club stands as a bastion to all that made London great, two fingers raised defiantly to the face of the corporate takeover that has seen much of the real West End trampled in a rush.
We visited for the main night of the 40th Anniversary gig of the original 1976 Punk Festival, seeing tribute acts to Siouxsie and the Banshees and the Sex Pistols though sadly The Damned act were replaced with Johnny Thunders stand-ins.
Music aside (and how great was all of it?) the club, the clientele, the staff even the price of the bloody beer where all a throwback to a happier, carefree time. I haven't experienced a buzz like this in a long time. The Old London lives, and how!
Don't come here seeking plush, over-priced 21st century tourist fodder. Come here with some perspective and go home with the comforting reassurance that somewhere a candle still burns for the Good Old London Town we all remember and love.
For now...
D. L.
Spacious premises quite suited to the swing dance event I attended. But the graffiti in the gents loos rather lowered the tone.
D. G.
Dated inside but that is not a negative it has lots of atmosphere. I have only seen comedy here but it is perfect for that and at the same time I would imagine it would be fantastic for music.
I. S.
More than a four star really... It's an easy going venue. Really quite basic. No frills, but what do you want? I like the place. In the centre of the world xx
G. W.
Really great, intimate, classic venue. Hidden away in the bustle of Oxford Street, with a good selection of beer and a lot of different acts in the calendar!
P. B.
Great venue but sound let's it's down. Especially when they have such a great band like Headline Maniac playing last Saturday. Amazing band.
C. G.
Awesome venue, great vibe too. If you can get tickets to a band you like there - don't hesitate.
C. H.
Great place for live music, until the place sells out, then you can't use the dancefloor as intended. Still a great place and well worth the money.
J.
Legendary venue, great close atmosphere with no barriers
If a band you like is playing here, you 100% have to go
N. H.
Amazing venue, it's a bit shabby, a bit dirty, with fairly dodgy toilets, just like a Music Venue should be, great vibe, looking forward to the next gig there
R. G. B.
A superb little club play load and live, would definitely go again, but I am disabled so it was a bit harder for me to go as I had to use Crutches instead of my Wheelchair
K. R.
Wonderful evening. Pity they were out of the latest Johnny Moped album of the compact disc digipak variety. Pale Ale did flow though.
J. T.
This place is an odd shape given it's very wide but very shallow; you can stand at the back but still be close to the stage. The layout works though as three acts I've seen play elsewhere all did their best shows here: The Men They Couldn't Hang, Jimbob from Carter USM, and Alabama 3. So I rate the place highly.
G. B.
Great night with The EXCEPTIONAL Jim Jones ColectiV + guests.
Found tickets at the door after asking very polite doormen. Thanks, been a while, happy to renew the connection!
R. M.
Love this place. If you happen to be in the area don't pass it by. Great little club featuring great bands . Legendary venue.
M. C.
A legendary place, now with craft beer on tap. What's not to like!
M. H.
One of London 's last surviving Music Venues from the great and glorious history of music in the Capital.
If you've never been, get yourself there, especially if it's a band that you love!
Shame the pillar is still in the way!
R. B. -. E. k.
Been going to the 100 club for many years and saw a lot of the punk bands up there. Later on seen many rock acts and in general this is a totally brilliant venue, one of an increasingly disappearing "species' I am afraid.
For me the most memorable occasion there was when a brilliant blues musician called Son House played there in 1970. Being a total out and out blues fanatic this was a bit of a serious moment in my life. Remember seeing John Peel there in the audience.
Had the great fortune to talk to Al "blind owl" Wilson from the famed band Canned Heat. He was kind of a bit of an introverted chap but someone I had great respect for too. Really talented musician and a very humble person.
If only I had a modern video camera, what a memorable occasion, but I had plenty of those during that era.
I. W.
Fantastic
E. D.
I always remember THAT time when I was walking along Oxford Street, after exiting Tottenham Court Road station, up to the 100 club and wondering how far up it was. Ooh let me just google the address to find out what number it is...but no lets not talk about that time. I would like to get married here thankyouplease. I love this place. History and rock and roll (and blues and jazz) literally seeps out of the walls, ceiling and floor here. I love the red walls, the old pictures of who has played there all around, the sticky floors, I even love the view of the pillars obscuring the view of the bands on stage when you are stood in the wrong position. They do good beer on draft nowadays too (a Camden pale ale beats a tubourg any day in my book). Long live the 100 club.
R. B.
Great live music venue, bit pricey for beer but only to be expected with this sort of place!
S. M.
Great venue for bands as we all know, two bars no queing, good selection of beer happy days
T. W.
Longest running Rare soul allnighter in the country!😃👍
B. D.
Very cool and c-oooo-l. Great venue with good bars -drinks only- and Aircon which works well. Very good value and pleasant staff.
P. R.
For a venue in London drinks are a very reasonable price
B. J.
One of the best clubs I ever been to!
Great music , great vibe and so much history between these walls...
A must for music lovers.
C. B.
Amazing historic venue in central London. Wide so you get good views of the stage. Air conditioned. Decent bar.
W. M.
Great venue
T. M.
Live music! Mostly hard rock, punk rock.. old club with very big stories! Many famous groups played there!
N. D.
Iconic, friendly little club on Oxford St. Could spend an hour just looking at the photos of a fraction of the acts that have performed here over the years.
L. M.
100 Club Oxford Street, intimate venue, great sound.
M. S. S.
Have been twice* and definitely will revisit. Freindly, vibrant, two bars, intimate, cosy and walls strewn with fantastic photos. Great atmosphere. *TRB & London Calling.
k. c.
Great historical venue
I. H.
Always a good night here 😎🍻
f. k.
Place is legendary hence the 4 stars but in need of a mahoosive uplift, kind of still stuck in 1993. But the old folks who come to some of the gigs here are adorable.
S. B.
I have come with some friends here for a couple of drinks! The place is nice! It was a bit crowded the night we visited but there were lots of pretty girls! I am overall glad to come here every now and again!
B. J. J.
Great venue, amazing music and really friendly staff. Can't wait to go there again!
N. A.
One of my all time favourite London venues. An amazingly intimate, iconic venue
T. C.
Excellent smallish old style live music venue with reasonable price drinks.
W. S.
I found it OK but there must be a gap from the stage too many people just stood in front and some disabled people who had to sit down were having difficulty in seeing the bands
J. S.
Loads of musical history here. Live sound in a box. Drinks are a little pricey, but you are in Oxford Street so not unexpected.
C. G.
Intimate basement gig venue, the prices aren't bad at all for central London and the staff are friendly. Great place to watch a show.
J.
Well worth a visit to this legendary club.
I was attending a northern soul night, Amazing night! Very friendly staff and bar prices where reasonable.
s. z.

J. C.
Always a good venue for live music. Been visiting 100 Club for around 3 decades now. Never disappoints.
A. S.
One of the few classic London venues to survive, and it has decent air-conditioning! Good sightlines, shame about the sulphurous cider.
L. S.
Brilliant PVA we're amazing
d. p.
One of Londons icon music venues, almost everyone has played here at some point. Gigs nearly every night of the week. Reasonable selection of beers
C. M.
Fab venue, rustically charming in true homage to rock and roll. Small and intimate yet wonderfully atmospheric.
M. N.
It's a great place to see live music but the venue has seen better days, it's a bit grimy. Terrible toilets.
P. J.
One of the best places in London to watch a group. Steeped in history and not expensive either. I always like coming here and will continue to in the future.
J. H.
Good venue, but with all the money they make they could at least repaint the loos and put an air freshener in...it's like in trainspotting😩
N. R.
Excellent venue always have a great time can't wait to go there again
B. R.
