I hired the upper room with the terrace for my daughter's surprise 21st birthday party. Aggie was wonderful from start to finish and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with her. Communication was excellent and she worked with me in order to accommodate my every wish - thank you so much Aggie. The staff provided to help us on the night were also wonderful - thank you so much Lucy and Marta. Marta who managed the night for us did so with great calmness, efficiency and kindness - that allowed me to enjoy the party without having to worry about anything. A beautiful venue with excellent customer service!

My son hired this great venue for surprise birthday party for his wife. We could get in early to decorate. The two ladies working did a great job. They couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend for a party or any event. Loved it.

Been rowing in the women's senior squad here for over two years. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, lots of great boats, the coaching is very supportive and it's amazing value. Highly recommend AK

I've been rowing here for a year and it's a great club. Moved from one of the other local clubs after a learn to row course to be somewhere a little more competitive but with a good social atmosphere (there's no point having a beautiful view of the river if you don't occasionally enjoy it with a beer).
The top men's boats qualified for Henley and almost the entire squad won pots over the summer.
A very friendly squad and a good club for balancing rowing with having a normal life and work etc.

My sister and I contacted Auriol Kensington Rowing Club to discuss using the venue for a birthday party. Aggie was extremely helpful and clearly outlined the venue facilities and capabilities. Given how indecisive we were and inconsistency of our responses, she was patient and understanding. In the end, we went with an alternative idea so we cannot speak for hiring of the space but we can say that our correspondence from her was friendly and sympathetic to our needs the entire time. We would definitely consider hiring the space in future if the need arose.

Friendly rowing club with a range is great programs ranging from Get Fit to Row, Learn to Row all the way to Competitive Masters. Great social activities as well.

Brilliant location, amazing people, great atmosphere and support to pick up rowing, learn, train and excel competitively. Get fit, learn a sport, be part of a squad (both women and men), challenge yourself without being left behind or feeling unwelcome. Have rowed here for almost 2 years, partook in regattas on the Tideway and abroad (including the Royal Henley), collected pots now and then and made some amazing memories with genuinely good people. And, of course, the location. Best views on the Tideway and a great spot to watch the Oxford-Cambridge race. Not to mention the usefulness of a club sandwiched between two lovely riverside pubs
