Reviews of COYA Mayfair

Went here for my mums birthday and had a fantastic time! The drinks, food and service were all brilliant. The vibe and decor really add the the experience and I remember really loving the scent they used in the lobby. Would highly recommend and personally would love to go back!
M. H.
The ambiente is really good, the shared dishes were amazing but the main and dessert I expected more given the starters but I would go again
I went again and tried new main dishes and they were amazing! Super recommend. It’s my new favourite restaurant in London
C. M.
Good and vibey restaurant but ultimately didn’t quite manage to meet our high expectations.
I have to deduct one star for overall value. Most dishes were very good but didn’t consistently provide the wow factor you’d expect for that price point — the main dishes were superb (we had the rib eye steak, lamb chops) but some of the sides and starters fell a little short (chicken skewers, roasted potatoes, wagyu brisket).
Another star I have to deduct for the service. While the staff were very polite and friendly, we felt pressured into certain menu items — we were quite keen on the tasting menu but were advised it would be far too much and that we should rather take individual dishes. Ended up paying more than the tasting menus and left feeling still a little hungry after having spent £250.

Good place for a meal out with family. The food was good. The service was excellent. There was a DJ to create some atmosphere in the bar. Would have given 5 stars but had to remind them of missing ordered dishes.

I must say that Coya is the best restaurant in London. You must try the lamb chops… insanely delicious. The food in general is absolutely marvellous. Very friendly staff and the environment is beautiful. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you very much, Coya!!!

My friend and I started our night with a bottle of wine that never arrived. After 4 dishes were already on our table we asked where our wine was which was probably forgotten as the somelie came to confirm the bottle of wine we asked. When we ordered a dessert we also asked for a drink which never arrived. Finally. we asked for the bill which never came. I had to ask the manager to get the bill, which arrived 2 minutes later but was for another table. Luckily we got the right bill a minute later. The service charge in my opinion was not worth it and when you constantly have to ask twice for what you asked it ruins the experience. The vibe and the food were exceptional and I really think it’s a pity that it’s ruined by poor service (at least in our case).

So good! My friend booked the private room for her birthday so we had the £110 tasting menu. The room itself is beautiful and feels very intimate with beautiful decor. We had two servers for the night I believe the main one was named Andrea if I remember correctly (curlyish brown hair), she was amazing, very friendly and super helpful and we really felt looked after by her. The food itself was really good, some of the best ceviche I've had and you certainly leave with a full belly! I've been meaning to book the Coya brunch for some time now and I for sure will now because I can't wait to go back. We may have overstayed our welcome a little (sorry!) as when we were leaving the lights had come on in the main part of the restaurant but even then the staff were still polite and were patient while we took a few pictures. Thank-you and see you again soon! x

We went here for Lunch on a Saturday.
The ambience is quite nice but restaurant is underground so no views or anything like that.
We tried all their cocktails and the best was the oro daiquiri!
For food we had a variety of things including the sea bass ceviche, mushroom ceviche, shiitake tacos, baos con wagyu, octopus, the kale salad and for mains the cornbread chicken, the sea bream in the banana leaf, the Sea bass, the langostino and patatas bravas.
Generally we found the food at a high standard however we felt the portions quite small especially the baos and tacos which were literally miniatures like half a bite each. The absolute highlight was the Seabass with rice and the Sea bream.
For desserts we had churros, pina colada, and signature chocolate cake which were also good.
The prices are quite high and the reason we give it a four is just the portion sizes as mentioned above for the tacos and baos we were really underwhelmed.
We would visit again but we would get the dishes mentioned above from mains which we thought were worth it.
H. S.
Relatively decent restaurant with good food. The steak in particular was fantastic! My only criticism would be the ambience as it’s too dimly lit and the tables stacked too closely to each other for comfort. Also had to wait a while before being seated.
Y. A.
The food was tasty and seasoned well, the decor was glam and sultry, it has a separate bar space from the restaurant and a live DJ.
A. S.
Absolutely loved this place! The decor, the vibe, the drinks and the food were phenomenal! We tried the tacos and sushi starters (pictured below) and for mains we had the fillet of beef with lamb chops which were both cooked to perfection! The dessert was also amazing, the cheesecake was light with a buttery crust and the coconut ice cream was nice and refreshing. The espresso martini is a must have too - definitely one of the best ive tried! All in all, can definitely say we'll be back soon!
T. K.
One of the best restaurants in London in the premium location of Mayfair. Amazing food - a refreshing mix as it incorporates fresh ceviches
Would highly recommend it as a place for an occasion/celebration or just for dinner. The service was impeccable, really great attention by the staff. The setting is beautiful - definitely one for the instagrammable places.
My favourite dish, is the Arroz Nikkei (Chilean sea bass in iron pot)
After dinner we had some drinks and party with amazing music and DJ
D. W.
Easily one of the Top 5 restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Authentic Peruvian ... beautiful interior ... helpful staff. Top notch in every way imaginanle.

This was my second time here & I brought my mum and stepfather who were visiting from Glasgow Amazing food and drink. We had an exceptional waitress Agniesa from Italy who was amazing. Hope she made the promotion to senior waitress by now.
C. B.
Enjoyed every second of dinner from start to finish. Stunning restaurant, delicious food, attentive and warm service especially from our server Jasmine. Wholeheartedly recommend Coya.

Having been at COYA three years ago we were so looking forward to eating there again. What a strange experience this second time around. Extremely rushed, fast and bossy service almost ruined our evening.
Everything felt a little too rushed from the moment we sat down. Having just ordered cocktails we were thrust into choosing from the menu ASAP. A task basically dictated by our server as she steered us very clearly away from a set menu (90GBP per person) and suggested certain dishes instead (which turned to be the same price). All done at blistering pace, not even stopping while I translated the suggestions to my wife.
Cocktails were great and we had attentive assistance from the sommelier to choose a bottle of wine. The the first small dishes started arriving immediately at such a fast tempo that the sommelier did not even bring the wine until at least on the fourth starter as we were still trying to finish our cocktails. The wine was very good and the food was mostly fantastic but the overwhelming feeling was that they were trying to free up our table as soon as possible. The food kept coming and our food server kept on being too aggressive, bossy, disruptive and too attentive (yes, it is possible). As an example she had suggested sea bass risotto for us. The server that brought that dish to our table asked if we would like the fish to be blended in with the risotto. We declined. A moment later our main server arrived and immediately started to crumble the fish and mix it with the risotto, without asking if we would like that.
The relentless pace did slow down a bit at the end and we we actually sat at our table almost for the allocated two hours. Then came the bill. So way overpriced. I knew it was expensive but this is all too much when you factor in the rushed service.
All in all, disappointing but the food really is very good. 3 stars as pace and price deduct one star each. Will not be returning.
M. G.
Highly recommended, especially the
- Shiitake con Chalaquita tacos
- Papa Seca con Setas y Trufa
The guacamole and the chocolate cake were also good.
Also, amazing cocktails so much that I couldn't stop ordering the Tokyo fizz
Great service and nice ambiance.
It was pricey because of the cocktails otherwise great value 👌
K. A.
As always coya always delivers. Great food, service and atmosphere.
Honestly all the dishes where great. Amazing ceviches, chilean seabass rice, lamb chops.
The Japanese wagyu was pushed on us. It was good but honestly way under seasoned to the point you couldnt taste anything.
B. N.
While an enjoyable venue, I thought the food was mostly average and the service was just about passable. I had hoped for more as our group were there to celebrate a special occasion, but have to also dock a star for the overly loud music - why does a restaurant like this need it in the main dining area? Perhaps that explains the members lounge, which we saw before service began, and seemed much nicer. The restaurant itself has fantastic decor throughout and the bar is stellar.
Thanks given also that we were allowed to visit the member's lounge and take photographs as we were early and the restaurant hadn't opened yet.
W. G.
This place is a must try, expensive but very tasty and the service was amazing! Just look at the food :)
G. M.
Outstanding customer service skills, amazing food and the DJ is so charming!
D. A.
Absolutely a great time with my wife and Kid. A customer service engineer Named "Dina" and the entire CoYA team; you were fantastic.. Have a drink after today's shift most definitely. ;)
A. N.
Lovely venue for a fun clubby atmosphere with a wide variety of Peruvian food

The food was hit and miss in terms of being 5* however the place gets 5* due to the following:
- cocktails were great - mezcal and pisco sours
- Service was exceptional - made the birthday celebration truly memorable this was largely down to Kinga our waitress
- ambience was great - music, vibes, lighting, table setting
- complimentary birthday desserts and really looked after us with a nut allergy
- certain food items like the yellowtail sashimi and ceviche steak and seabass arroz were great!
S. B.
Great food, took one star off as our bill was wrong and we were a bit rushed at the end but the food was faultless and the server was fantastic!
H. T.
Amazing food - a refreshing mix as it incorporates fresh ceviches and all the way to cooked meat/seafood! Would highly recommend it as a place for an occasion/celebration, or if you just feel like splashing out. The service was impeccable, really great attention by the staff. The setting is beautiful - definitely one for the gram. If I had to pick my favourite dish, it would be the Arroz Nikkei (Chilean sea bass in iron pot)

I have been bringing clients to Coya ever since it opened and it never disappoints. This was the first time I had been on a Monday night, when they have live music in the restaurant. The atmosphere was even better than usual and there wasn’t an empty table, even though we were dining at 11pm. The service was excellent, efficient and non-intrusive. The guacamole, which the waiter prepares for you at the table, is delicious and highly recommended. Dishes arrived quickly, nicely presented and perfectly cooked (except the Wagyu steak which my clients chose to have cremated, but this wasn’t the restaurant’s fault). There is a £75 per person minimum spend but, as with any Mayfair establishment, this is easily achieved. In this part of London where you are spoiled for choice for excellent cuisine, Coya still stands out as exceptional. Not to be missed.
Update: Having recently visited this restaurant again after sometime, I was pleased that the high standards of service and quality of food have not diminished. The ceviche selection was truly outstanding, as was the Kingfish la Trufa. The highlight for me on this particular visit though, was the Japanese Wagyu Sirloin. Genuine A5 grade, sourced from Kagoshima, this was a real treat. Cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. On previous visits I have sampled the Chilean offering but this was another level. Seabass is always a favourite, thick, firm, flaky fish served with a delicious risotto. Always opt for the Churros to finish, and on this occasion the chef took the time to pen me a birthday message in chocolate, a nice touch.
A. S.
Amazing night, celebrating our anniversary. Food was really good and staff were friendly and professional.
I have a GF allergy and the chef made sure everything was GF.
I highly recommend the beef tataki and octopus.
Looking forward to our next visit.
N. C.
Fantastic calm and knowledgeable waitress. Good food, nicely presented and tasty. Great sommelier who wasn’t posh nor snooty.
Lost two stars as the avocado was pretty plain tasting and we were in an enclosed shell in the restaurant and the music was deafening, no exaggeration.
We asked for the sound to be lower than the blasting echoing in our ears and making conversation very difficult.
The next morning my voice was hoarse.
R. M.
COYA didn't fail to impress. The atmosphere, the vibe, the food, everything was on point.
The old fashioned cocktail is probably one of the best I've tried in London. The range of food we was given for the set menu was amazing.
The dessert 😍
E. T.
Guaranteed a good time at Coya every time I’ve been. Immaculate service and delicious food. Wonderful cocktails esp their pisco sours are so easy to drink. Sea bass with arroz was so amazing that we added on another portion! Overall a place filled with great lively vibes for a group night out
K. I.
Great food and amazing atmosphere!
Arroz Nikkei (sea bass with rice) was outstanding!
S. E.
Food was delicious- got the taster menu, can’t complain at all.
Service was fairly good, other than a few mix ups on orders between my table and the neighbouring one.
Unfortunately, the thing that ruined it for me was the scent in the restaurant - there was a very strong scent of perfume, I thought it was the candle on the table and asked the waiter if he could smell it too, he said that’s “the aroma we use for the restaurant.”
This “aroma” triggered my asthma symptoms and allergies on another level I felt I couldn’t breathe and it was incredibly overpowering, it made it really difficult for me to enjoy my time at the restaurant, as the atmosphere was generally nice and food was delicious
Please do reconsider the unnecessarily strong “aroma”
J. S.
Went for girlfriends birthday and loved the food and vibe. Having family from Peru I could appreciate that the aesthetic is well-thought out and authentic. It would be nicer if the DJ/music volume was a bit lower but loved the evening and staff were great.
S. W.
So far just tried cocktails. Best pisco sour in town!
Blue martini is surprisingly great, even better than pisco sour so highly recommend.
A. T.
Absolutely love this place. Great food and amazing vibe. Of course a bit pricey!
F. G.
Authentic. Out-of-this-world. At least out of this continent!
Probably the best place in London to experience truly Peruvian cuisine.
C. T.
Great food, live music and amazing ambiance!! And even better pisco sours 😃
Y. W.
Expensive, but good food, good selection of wines, good service, good entertainments, also interior design!
Definitely will return again!
L. C.
Great place to go staff were helpful. One thing I disliked was the loud music, you can barely hear yourself speak when ordering your food. Overall the decor was nice, wouldve loved it if it weren’t too dark
H. B.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and decor throughout. Would definitely recommend a visit!
D. P.
One of the best experiences in London - every single detail is perfect here - service, food, music, atmosphere...
T. A.
My all time favorite fine dining restaurant in London. Superb food and impeccable service.
A. R.
Incredible lounge and restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and staff. Strict about the social distancing and keeping us safe. Most thoughtful and personal table service (Grazie mille Agnese!). Most importantly....Phenomenal food and drinks - a very good choice for vegans and vegetarians. Order anything with aubergine and you won't be disappointed! I cannot recommend this place enough!
M. D.
Cocktails, service and ambiance were great (even on a Tuesday night). Food is fine but overpriced for what it is. Quality of fish is average at best and meat was overcooked. Standard Mayfair spot
U. G.
Best fusion Peruvian restaurant in London with great music and good vibes. The food is amazing, ceviches, grill and josper. Delicious. Do not miss the cocktails!
N. B.
I think I have pretty much told everyone I know about Coya. I absolutely love it here and it in my top favourite places. The prices are a little expensive which you would expect in London but it is definitely worth the money. The list of wines is a little extensive but recommend the Gavi if you are a white wine fan. The smashed avocado to start is a must try and the yellow tuna ceviche I would also recommend. The food is spicy so best suited to people who love some heat.
Go to for dessert is always going to he the churros for me and these were some of the best I have ever tasted..
Looking forward to our next visit..
M. K.
This place is exclusive in a personal and very positive way. The food was amazing and the staff was extremely service minded which made this whole food experience something extra. We had their tasting menu which I really recommend if you like to try various kind of food for the night.
H. L.
fantastic food and good service. Sea bass is amazing! I would like come back again.
A. W.
Food was amazing best steak I have ever had
B. A.
This place has a really nice vibe. We have been here a few times and it is great place. Can be on the expensive side though. The food was all good that we tried, I especially liked the ceviche. The only thing that was a disappointment was one of the desserts which was a kind of creme brulee. The meet was all very good and succulent, cooked how we ordered it. Really like the service we got as everyone was friendly and smiling. Recommended but bare in mind the cost isn't for everyone.
E. L.
An absolute experience. We came here for a birthday lunch. We were not rushed. Perfect helpful staff, great service, Food was brilliant, with wine to compliment your taste (or cocktails). Might be pricey but you are in Mayfair and this is a culinary experience. Thank you Coya for a great day out.
R. O.
COYA has an awesome sharing concept. We ordered the tasting menu with 13 different small courses, ranging from vegan, fish and meat to rich desserts. The staff was very friendly and guided us through the different stages. The food was extremely well prepared with combination of flavours that you both recognize and that are new to you. The ceviche in 4 ways was one of the absolute highlights. One improvement for the tasting menu is that the desserts could have been lighter as you've been eating a lot of food prior to that. They could also have given some recommendations for what to drink during the evening (for example drinks worked better together with the food than wine). Overall, a great trendy place and a nice food experience for a reasonable price. Can really recommend COYA for those who like a tasty sharing experience.
B.
Came here for dinner at 630 pm on a Friday night. Place was relatively busy, come 730pm the place was absolutely full.
Food was good with lots of flavor, service was very attentive.
We had a few drinks at the bar and the cocktails were great and they had some unique cocktails.
Worth a visit.
R. M.
Really enjoyed the food.
Service was exceptional considering social distancing etc.
Love this restaurant. Lots of different unusual flavours.
L. A.
Really nice place. The food is great.
I am giving 3 stars as they are not respecting the COVID considerations; our table was literally 40cm apart from the next table (as you can see in the picture).
Also, I mentioned it was my friends birthday in the booking description twice.
The table next to us got a candle with the deserts and we didn't get anything.
I highly recommend the pork ribs
A. C.
Nice location and menu. Excellent quality overall. We had to wait quite a lot for our drinks, that arrived after we asked the manager. It's definitely worth a visit. I really appreciated the dessert: a corn ice cream decorated with sweet pop corns and an ananas foam.
W. C.
Great food especially the Ceviche (as expected for Peruvian cuisine). For the 4 of us we ordered 2 sets and mixed in a la carte for a meal with a variety of flavours. Food arrives as soon as its prepared so you get to enjoy it fresh. Hats off to the good service with our waiter explaining the cuisine and recommending dishes!
L. S.
Amazing dishes, a bit expensive, highly decorated
J. M.
I haven’t been to Coya for a few years so was really excited for my visit. I wasn’t disappointed, the service was great and the food was just as tasty as I remembered.
N. L.
Amazing cocktails, wonderful food, great atmosphere. But restaurants really shouldn't serve octopus any more.
T. R.
Wow what an amazing meal! Loved it from starter to dessert. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food was so good. The Chilean sea bass croquettes with red chilli was unbelievably good. The chilli packed a good punch in to the dish I would go back for this starter alone. Also I really did enjoy the pulled pork bao buns immensely. The other dishes were also very pleasing as was the chocolate dessert. The pisco sour was fantastic.
M. S.
Pleasantly surprised to walk in and get a table on a Friday night. Opted for the £80 tasting menu which was nicely varied and plenty for two. Especially liked the ceviches and desserts. Signature cocktails were imaginative and flavoursome. Only criticism was the lighting in the dining area of the bar was turned so low we couldn't appreciate the presentation of the food. Had to take pics with flash to get a decent look 😅
k. m.
I tried Coya in dubai and I have to say, in terms of the food, dubai's was a lot better (I thing that's the case with all of my similar comparisons). However, this one was very welcoming and the service is the best ever. Francesca was very welcoming and had a big part of making our experience better.
N. D.
Had a great time. Food was great, ambiance was lovely, staff were friendly. Definitely recommend.
P. S.
First time here and the food was really good. We let our server pick for us as she was very knowledgeable. Lots of tacos, sashimi and ceviche to start which was all full flavoured. For mains we shared chicken and beef skewers, gambas, patatas bravas and more seafood. Everything was lovely and the service was great. A Pisco sour or two is also a must order.
K. N.
For sure it’s one of my favorite restaurants in London. Make sure to book your table before going. For appetizers I recommend the crab tacos and the wagyu tataki. LOBSTER for main course for sure.
A. S.
There arent enough adjectives to describe the food here. Pricey but very, very worth it. Friendly staff, beautiful venue, had a brilliant time for my birthday. Highly recommended.
s. D. A.
Great birthday meal my husband really Enjoyed his ceviche and we shared guacamole & nanchos, squid and I had main meal fish dish it was so delicious plus kale salad With fruits. Also leave room for desserts the chocolate gnoci and de leche was wow. We had a very helpful waiter as well he was really kind and even sang happy birthday to my husband. Will returns again for sure.
R. N.
One of the best in central London
They are serving great cocktails and foods.. you can enjoy the great DJ music
J. M. G.
Very good food quality and amazing service. All ceviches we tried were terrific
T. T.
It's a really nice restaurant. We had octopus, chicken, beef, tuna tartare and we had salmon with quinoa salad, and a piscosour which like an alcoholic lemonade :) we only had one main and one alcoholic drink and it costs £85 so very expensive but the food was tasty.
C. G. I.
Only one thing... The 3 pisco sour was to sweet for my opinion.
The food was amazing...
Thanks to all the friendly staff for this amazing experience ❤️
D. H.
Tried the tasting menu and the food was fantastic. Every course delicious and unique. Only issue was the music which was incredibly loud at times.
T. K.
Fabulous!!! So far thr best Peruvian restaurant I have been to. The food was amazing, especially the beef, it was so tasty. My friend and I got the following; Chilean sea bass croquettes, red chilli / Chicken, aji amarillo, garlic skewers / Beef fillet, aja panca, coriander skewers/ Pork cerdo bao / Josper rib eye, chimichurri / Patatas bravas / Churros. Pricey but worth it I have been to many posh places but the food is strange and miniature portions but not with Coya here you get a good amount, I will definitely re-visit I do recommend this restaurant, the service is great and fast, staff is friendly and welcoming the atmosphere inside is calming, vibrant and relaxing. Beautiful!!
R. B.
Was taken here by my boss for my work leaving lunch and we had an amazing meal. The guac is made right at the table (interesting experience but fun to watch), we had the ceviche and one other starter which was really tasty - and I usually don't eat fish!. Our main was the chilean sea bass and the Bife de Ancho with patatas bravas - everything was divine. The sea bas was flavourful and juicy, the steak and sauce were perfect. Had a cocktail and downed 2 bottles of wine. It was a fabulous lunch and a great send off!!
Would definitely go back and excited for the Inca brunch one of these days!!!
G. 9.
Our favourite place to eat. The cerviche is out of this world, we come here just for that alone!
E. M.
Delicate flavours which pack a punch. Cheesecake was a highlight - really delicious!
K. K.
The food great, drinks are nice. But the private room is not looked after to the standard that matches the price charged.

Came the 10th of January with my friends around 2.30. We were late and the kitchen was about to close, however they served us without any issues. The 1st blonde italian girls came out firm but was understandable as we were the one late.. She gave us top advices regarding the food. The sommelier Stephan came later helping us in the choice of the wines and was spot on 👌 all the food served made me and my friend satisfied so happy about that too. Lastly we were served by a nice kind Italian/Tunisian waiter that kept on helping us during the lunch.
I would definitely recommend it again 100%
M. K.
We go to Coya every week, we have been to Dubai and Monte Carlo several times but Mayfair is our favorite! Well done to the bar manager, the guests relations manage and the team in general ! Great music great food and drinks, we always have great nights !
S. T.
Nice staff and cocktails at the bottomless brunch but not much food for £75! Nice venue with fun music and man playing bongos after we’d eaten. Good selection of help yourself desserts at the end
Y. C.
Great food and great presentation. The waitress was lovely and explained about all the food very well. Nice and lively place.
H. M. A. B.
Top quality food with eficient service. Best thing to order is the crocantes con guacamole with the chips the taste was really out of this world. Great experience. I'll be back soon !
E. W.
This slice of London's exceptional culinary scene simply doesn't disappoint. Setting, service, wine list, cocktail bar, menu and, of course, food are all of a level which is hard to even comprehend. It has it all.
The Peruvian food Coya serves is simply magical. A perfect fusion of cultural and culinary influences, presented in a truly brilliant way.
I would try and pick a standout dish, but absolutely everything, from the guacamole, made at the table as an amuse bouche, to the signature lobster risotto, is astonishing.
L. C.
Exceptional Peruvian food with a good selection of in-house cocktails.
Q. Q.
Delicious Peruvian restaurant. Try multiple Tapas and share. The favorites are Seabass Ceviche & Charcoal mushroom. Prices are expensive, with a bottle of wine & full course, expect min ~£150 per person. Seamless service!
A. G.
One of the coolest and most sophisticated Latin places in London. Great food and the live music is awesome! (Although live music only at the Members section) 🕺🏽🔥
A. S.
Trendy, great ambiance, delicious food and cocktails. Pisco sour + jalapeño 🙌🏽 small portions, so you'll likely have to order a number of things.
S. L.
Very vibey place, staff would all come around to sing birthday songs with much enthusiasm. Like that their food portions aren't excessively big, which meant that we could try more stuff. Interesting wine list, had the Uruguayan white wine which was pretty decent.
L. A. R.
Really nice experience, not 100% Peruvian but really well oriented. Service is perfect and always helpful. Nice atmosphere. Thanks
M. B.
Every time recently I've been in London I eat here. Truly impressive every time. Great menu and great service. I'll be back. Again.
A. S.
Excellent wine collection and Peruvian - Japanese fusion really works. The vegan fusion dishes were a very nice surprise. Great service and ambience to boot.

First time at COYA Mayfair, amazing service - very friendly and welcoming. Good music from the resident DJs and the highlight of my virgin experience were the cocktails made by the head bartender, Mohamed. Best drink I’ve had was the aji margherita! Extremely talented with a lot of charisma and had great conversation throughout the entire evening. Definitely recommended for anyone in London who wants an evening of some delicious cocktails and relaxation!
S. B.
The food, entertainment and atmosphere are all great. The staff are very friendly too. I highly recommend the Pisco Sour!
U. R. O.
Wow, what an amazing experience, They have top quality food which was cooked to perfection.I recommend the lobster & wagyu steak (MR). Amazing staff & great cocktails (probably the nicest Whiskey sour I had)
a. k.
I joined a friend in the private members lounge, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The wagyu steak just melts away in your mouth!!

Vibrant atmosphere, excellent personalised service, superb quality of ceviche and other Peruvian food make this place a perfect choice for a special night out. Also, live Latin music on Mondays is plus!
R. O.
The food was amazing!
Special thanks to the waiter and the sommelier Jasmin and Nikole who made the night exceptional!
K. A.
My fav restaurant , staff was helpful. Food was really good and music and atmosphere of the place Must visit if you are in London ❤️❤️❤️
A. T.
Amazing service and brilliant food. It was our wedding anniversary and they made it so special and beautiful with the thoughtful dessert!

I love the Bar and the Privee for Members....Everytime it's better and better. Nice Live Music...Great Bartenders & Amazing food....Peruvian 4ever!
M. A.
We went there for a birthday dinner and the overall experience was just incredible! From the beginning how welcoming at the door staff was until getting our table. Our sommelier and all servers were just perfect. Attention to detail was met at all times. Music was on point and we just enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you Coya team for the great service! We will definitely come back.

If you still reading this review that's mean you are losing time to enjoy..
Just go and have the best kind of food in London
Don't forget to make an booking on the site.
Enjoy

We had a tasting menu and to be honest the price was quite good for the amount of food we had. I enjoyed every dish and the service was great. The waiter took a very good care of us. I would absolutely recommend coya in Mayfair.
J. F.
COYA is a good Peruvian restaurant, with live music, tasty food, excellent quality. I went with my friend on a Thursday night, and I had a fabulous experience, staff treated us well, the band was interacting with costumers. I recommend!
A. A.
One of the best in london ,, Amazing experience!!
I recommend for Appetizers:
scallops, salmon tacos, beef bao bun and must have Tuna tartare.
Main: papa Seca Truffles and Wagyu steak. Also a side of corn salad with Inti moctail
Dessert: all good
Highly recommend it but you have to book in advance.

Service and food were great not sure of the need for the slightly unfriendly doorman at 6pm on a Wednesday but nevermind.

Coya Mayfair is what happens when traditional Latin American aesthetic are done with Mayfair money. Do not expect a structured interior with nicely lined up tables; but instead an electric mix of sofas, tables and chairs that give it a relaxed and contemporary feel. The lighting is dim - low-hanging lanterns, giving off more atmosphere than light - adding to the sense of a romantic Bond movie like setting at night. The restaurant also features as outside area with heaters that is mainly used by smokers during the winter. Having visited on a Saturday evening there was a DJ playing some amazing tracks. While this might not be to everyone's taste it is part of the overall theatrical experience Coya tries to deliver. The crowd was a mix of couples, groups and families sharply dressed.
The food is meant to be shared - served like large portions of tapas and brought to the table as they are prepared. So get ready to share and keep in mind the portions are not generous for the exception of the main dishes. The starter section is split into four (skewers or anticuchos, ceviches, tiraditos – like ceviches only with a Japanese influence).
The food menu is a modern adaptation of many Peruvian classics, dominated by ceviches and tiradito, with plates including Arroz Nikkei (Chilean sea bass with rice, lime, chilli) or pez limon (yellowtail with dashi, truffle oil and chives). For the health conscious there is quinoa salads, tuna tacos, wagyu tatami and grilled sirloin steaks with chimichurri and lamb chops for the meat lovers. While I sampled one meat, one fish, one ceviche and two sides the absolute star of the dinner was the Corvina Ceviche. On the other hand the Pumpkin Tacos were average and the ribs had a tasty glaze.
The service was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable but trained to up sell. The waiter was kind enough to give us a take away bag given we had ordered too much food.
While in line with other restaurants in the area, Coya Mayfair is pricey. An order of lamb chops tops GBP £27 while other dishes such as the chicken anticucho goes for GBP £9 and a salmon ceviche GBP £9.
Coya Mayfair is a good option for those looking for a lively weekend or weekday dinner. It falls danger of focusing too much on the experience as opposed to the food itself but it manages to deliver on both. Coya Mayfair also features a Saturday brunch which is a four-hour brunch experience with cocktails, a set brunch menu, DJs and performers.

Food that will blow your mind! The most tender and tasteful wagyu steak I've ever had. Actually everything we ordered was perfect. The service is top notch as well! Can't wait to go back
D. A.
Amazing food and service 👍🏼highly recommend
M. C.
Very trendy , the style is unique ... Peruvian food is just amazing🤤 pulled pork buns so yummy and cute , the spiced tuna sevice was my super favorite refreshing and balanced to perfection. Cocktails are outstanding, each of them served in their own glasses😍... Pleasant atmosphere...
Maybe music was a bit to loud for me that I'm a chatty woman but probably enjoyed by others😉 Thanks for the amazing night especially to our server Kinga wich was perfect combination of sweet and precise.
S. o. A.
What a great place! Came here for a Christmas lunch and enjoyed a limitless choices of delicious food! Top quality, professional service.
C. C.
I’m a big fan of COYA, many visits, many Pisco spurs and massive love for the people and the venues! Always a great time, great food, great hospitality and will continue going back
S. J. B.
We were served by Chiara who showed us exemplary service! The food was absolutely wonderful - this was my first time at this place and I’ve already decided to come again. Great for couples or parties to come here as the starters can be shared as well as the mains. The ambience was perfect as well. The music wasn’t too loud.
The fusion of Japanese and Peruvian was perfect. I’d recommend this place to anyone holidaying in London! The wagyu beef is the only halal meat here but there’s so much variety of fish that the lack of halal meat shouldn’t put you off!
A. A.
Have been twice to Coya Mayfair and both of the experiences were fantastic. Best Nikkei I tasted in London, a level above anything else. The service is attentive and polite, the serving is quick. The atmosphere is funky and cool, feels like a lounge but not too dark and music not too loud. A real 5/5, perfect for a special occasion. If there is anything to complain about it is the prices but given the location and with the quality of food and service you are getting I think this is well justified.
Y.
The pisco is 100% like in Peru, completely amazing. Food is really good however the portions are small. Service was helpful and polite. Looking forward to coming back.
C. S.
I have been in London for 6 years and this has to be one of the best nights at any restaurant! The food as always was incredible, every dish was fantastic! The Chilean Seabass must be tried! The music and band were one of the best I have seen at any restaurant in London, the Latin music was perfect for the evening, so much so every table was up dancing!
For sure this is one of the best places in London for great food and atmosphere!
Well done Coya!
T. B.
Incredible service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend if you can get in!
T. O.
Amazing Peruvian fusion food on a sharing concept format, large pisco bar and a members' club with funky music and lots of beautiful people. Small smoking terrace at members' club too. Good wine selection as well.
X. W.
4.5 consistently good food. Good cervices, the truffle potato dish was excellent.
L. E.
The food is largely high standard. The corvina trufa is one of the best fish dishes I've ever eaten. I will come back for this dish alone. The papatas need more huancaina! I was disappointed with this dish, it's a peruvian classic but failed to deliver. The cazuela and ox heart were great. As was dessert, a very slick take on chicha morada. Service was good. It started off a bit iffy, the receptionist and hostess didn't seem too bothered what impression they made. The servers were great though, really friendly. I would have liked if they'd left us to pour our own water, they did get a little obtrusive at times
Y.
A really nice restaurant but they have a 2 hours seating limit!! So, I couldn't try their desserts.
S. L.
Best food and atmosphere here! Definitely a great night out! I recommend the churros, the melted chocolate orange is amazing.
D. K.
Recommend: kosher tiger prawn with the amazingly grilled lemon, Seabass risotto and truffle potato mushroom hot pot.
Must try: seabass croquetas and mushroom Setas
Amazing dessert ☺️
M. A.
Amazing experience and delicious food!
P. I.
Expensive brunch for minimal food. Starters were the best part of the brunch, my main of chicken and potatoes was quite dry and the desserts were horrible.
D. S.
AMAZING! If you love strong flavours, particularly citrus you will love coya. It’s Peruvian and it’s amazing
S. S.
the music was a little loud but I had a great time celebrating my birthday there. Agnese was our server and she was lovely and enthusiastic - really made my night - I will be returning because of her ! the food, drinks and ambience were great.
P. S.
Really nice restaurant, friendly staff and amazing food. The problem is that they do not bring each step of your courses together. So either you start to eat before others or you eat cold. The price is too expensive as well.
R.
Good service if a little "busy" at times with all the staff, great food, good piscos (try pomegranate and mint). Will be back.
D. S.
Really good food and we loved the ceviche of kingfish but paying the bill was a bit chaotic. We were originally charged for three pisco sours we didn't order and then the waiter was struggling to understand how we wanted to split the bill. I'm glad I checked otherwise we would have been overcharged by quite a lot.
G. A.
The food is amazing, staff very friendly (ask to be helped by Agnese!!), expensive but probably less than I expected. The missing star is because when the deejay started playing, the music was so so loud it was very difficult to enjoy conversation and dinner. Very annoying.
A.
Booked a 30th birthday dinner for my fiancee here and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The choice of food isn't bountiful, but this is good because what they do have, is done very well. The decor is amazing and definitely a spot for dinner or late lunch.
J. A.
Amazing food and drinks, very friendly staff!
MUST have: Ceviche sampler, rib eye, and chilean sea bass.
C. L.
The culinary experience is mind-blowing! What an amazing restaurant.
S. B.
Amazing and classy restaurant , all the food dishes in the pics was incredible.
H. N.
Never having tried peruvian food, it became a night to remember. Wonderful tasting experience and friendly staff. To load music the only draw
S. S.
Great food and service. Very gloomy ambiance due to being in the basement level. At these prices one would expect a more airy space.
L. M.
Thank you Jasmin for the perfect service in COYA . It sas a réel and delicious pleasure.
A. L.
Loved their guac. Will definitely go back just for that!
H. C.
If you fancy treating yourself on a special occasion, then look no further! The Peruvian food here is excellent, you won't be disappointed with your choices. Follow the friendly staff's recommendations as they know the best dishes. Their speciality dish the arroz Nikkei is phenomenal.
j. s.
corn salad is very good
avocado chips is average
potato side order is good
pumpkin pot good
sea bass rice is very good
service is excellent
V. P.
This is the third time we’ve been to COYA. The food is great and the atmosphere is also good however the balance between being a great place to eat interesting South American food and have a conversation with friends needs some work. Having thumping nightclub music played not in the background but quite loudly is very distracting, and takes the edge of the evening. These guys need to decide whether they want to be a fine food establishment with an edge or nightclub but you can’t be both simultaneously.
J.
Fantastic restaurant, probably the best ceviche I have had in London. The experience was only made better by my waiter Alessandro. Very charming young man, who knew exactly what to do and never let our glasses go dry! Great man, great restaurant
G.
Staff 10/10, Food 10/10, service 10/10. They celebrated my birthday without me asking so it was a great surprise :)
P. U.
I went to coya on Saturday! The restaurant was very beautiful. Our reservation was at 10pm but when we arrived, we got told the table was not ready so we waited in the drinks area. It was after 45 minutes, we were able to go downstairs to have our food. The food was amazing however within 15 mins of the food, we got told that the kitchen was closing. We were very disappointed with the service.
S. W.
Great food, lovely ambience and wonderful staff. Will be returning ASAP. Highly recommend for a classy night but with a much more accepting staff/relaxed atmosphere
P. K.
The food is extremely delicious and well made. That would be full 5 stars. Also the restaurant settings are pleasant and the music is not too loud. However, even if I had reserved a table, I had to rush through the menu and make the order as quick as possible. Also the sizes of the dishes are so ridiculously small that even 5 plates left me hungry, and I'm a small person.
S. F. T.
Second time visiting COYA and it never disappoints. Quality ingredients cooked by World class chefs. Planning another visit soon.
F. A.
Very delicious food. Everything was perfect. Great service.
G. T.
Super delicious food, quite pricy but that‘s what you expect!
R. A.
The food was excellent , the portions are quite small though . We had the corn salad , Taco de Salmón so yummy , the skewers were ok , the octopus was so good , Wagyu Bun and Chips was unbelievable but tiny. Bife de Ancho
Josper rib eye was so good as well.
For the desert we had chocolate fondant and cheese cake ( good but relatively average))
Beware of the table next to the kitchen ( sooo hot) we couldn’t change the table because the restaurant was fully booked .
E. P. F.
Very good Peruvian food. The atmosphere is extremely cool and vibrant. The restaurant is beautiful. Great pisco sour. Very good ceviches. Highly recommended!
N.
Amazing vibe, food, drinks, music and staff!!! Definitely going back soon!
M. D.
This is quite possibly the best restaurant I have ever been to in London. Period. This incredible Peruvian restaurant needs a handful of Michelin stars thrown at it immediately as I'd like nothing better than to make it rain with raving reviews for this impeccable, sensory explosion of a dinner.
M. W.
I was stuck deciding if this was a 4 or 5 star review. The place is nice, easy to find with great decor. This had been my first outing to a restaurant through the pandemic and I did expect some social distancing to be taking place, I guess restaurants are exempt from this. The tables were organised but not fully far apart and there really was no system in place apart from maybe some tables (not all!) Were given hand sanitizer before paying their bill.
Food was not too bad either, I really enjoyed most of it apart from the extremely salty beef, I mean we could not finish it because of how salty it was.
Some of the best parts was the cerviche (spelling???) I was hesitant at first, but they were delicious and very well made.
The servers were good, cannot fault them and due to how busy it was, they did really well.
I think maybe if the beef was not salty and maybe some more consistency all around would have made this 5 stars. Still was a nice night out.
P. H.
One of the best meals I've had in a long time with great cocktails and impeccable service. Can't recommend enough! Make sure you order the tuna ceviche, the sauce is incredible!!!
P. M.
Great place with excellent atmosphere, food and cocktails
N. K.
The food is very tasty but rather expensive for what it is (£9 for a bowl of guacamole and some crackers was particularly egregious); wine starts at £40/bottle, though it is very nice. Most bizarrely despite the restaurant being half empty we were made to feel very rushed - waiters taking plates away practically just as we finished them, and three waiters in the space of five minutes asking if we were ready to order yet. This isn't really acceptable for such a high-end establishment.
H. S.
I have never written a Google review for a restaurant before. However, the experience me and my husband just had was absolutely amazing! The food AND the service was incredible! Such lovely people especially having the pleasure of Diego and Anninesa (not sure how you spell it, sorry) serving our table. I will definitely be coming here many more times, the food was just delicious!
M. D.
Really recommend tasting menu. You get to enjoy variety of different dishes which is about 1-2h of dishes constantly coming in
M. A.
Delicious food, amazing ambiance and great music..
Highly Recommended 👍🏼

Our server Andrea was fantastic and every recommendation she gave was superb!
M. S.
Amazing food as you would expect, really great ambience.
J. J. J.
Coya is amazing! Décor is fantastic, menu is clear and the food is brilliant. Great atmosphere and amazing staff. Would thoroughly recommend for date nights and entertaining guests. Not the cheapest, but worth the money in my opinion.
Gents, watch your step as you go into the bathroom, there is a sudden step down which could be a night-ender...
P. F.
Amazing place, the staff is professional and lovely, very reactive. And the food...OMG the food is incredible, never tasted that before. I think I found my new favorite place in London. Worth the price 100%
D. D.
Amazing Food
Friendly Staff 👍🏻
My Favourite Order Guacamole, Quinoa Salad and Vegetable Tacos
P. H.
A really tasty dinner. Great ambience but can get busy.
I. K.
This place is amazing!! Really nice environment, perfect music playlist and staff friendly & polite, willing to respond to all inquiries. Food just scrumptious 👌
N. H.
The decor is without a doubt amazing, this place is without a doubt the place to get some good photos. The Seabass (Lubina) ceviche was good, as was the aubergine side order, very yummy. I was however dissapointed by the steak, mine was very over cooked for a medium rare steak.
R. A.
One of my favorite restaurants! Delicious food- amazing ceviches and super yummy sea bass risotto- and so many more! Highly recommend
m. h.
Had a meal here last night for my daughter’s 30th birthday with 4 littles ones included. Kinga our waitress couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back. Food and service 5 stars
thank you Kinga and your team
G. B.
Amazing experience. We had the chefs menu. It took quite a bit if time but worth it!
n. u.
Great choice for our son's 21st celebration post lockdown, all dishes had amazing flavours, attentive service, sumptuous decor, favourites included langoustine, kale and manchego salad, churros, aubergine tacos, creme brulee. Every dish was a delight. Enjoyed the non- alcoholic cocktails too.
W. A.
Amazing food, even better service! Loved it!
L. R.
Great service and the food was outstanding All the staff was classy and very helpful. Highly recommend.
A. T.
One of my favorite places in London, they have good food and service
M. D. F.
Staff is super nice, qualified and funny! Food is delicious and cocktails dangerously good! The design is beautiful and I feel like a queen everytime I go. Highly recommended especially the themed brunches, super fun!
M.
One of the best restaurants I have ever dined at. You need to try it at least once. Vibe is great and food is real good.
D. T.
Love this place. Upscale place and very nice offerings of beverages.
R. G.
Loved the atmosphere, great service and of course sublime food. Will return when I'm back in London. Don't miss out on the Churros!
C. B.
Great ambience and the staff are so friendly!
Our waitress was amazing and suggested all the right things to order.
Food was tasty and flavourful!
M. G.
The food was mediocre and tasteless. The pisco sour was also nothing to write home about. Good service, pretty setting and good music
D.
Delicious food, friendly staff and great location 👌🏼.
A. A.
Always amazing service and food/drinks. Worth treating yourself!
F. M.
I went here last night for a special occasion with my best friend. From the moment we sat down the waiting staff were constantly on our backs to order drinks and food. We wanted to have a cocktail first and just eat the (very delicious!) guacamole while casually chatting and deciding on what to order. The menu has a lot on it so and we were also using our phones to read it due to covid. They came over quite a few times to ask if we were ready to order even though they could clearly see we were still looking. When we said we weren’t ready we could tell the waiter was getting a bit impatient. This made us feel a bit pressured and not relaxed. The starter/small plates came out less than 10minutes later. All dishes were beautifully presented and full of fragrant fresh flavours and spice. Although one of us was still eating, the waiter was over clearing the entire table apart from my plate I was still eating from - this is something I really don’t like in restaurants, they should wait until everyone has finished. Again, it made us feel rushed and not very relaxed. We ordered the Bife de Ancho for mains with the bravas - a really tasty combo with the chimmichurri sauce. Again the dishes were impressively presented and couldn’t be faulted. We had ordered a bottle of wine after our cocktails and the waiter again was constantly coming over filling up our glasses, even when it was half full. Perhaps some people like this level of attentiveness but for me it was OTT and it didn’t feel like they were actually doing it to be of excellent service but more to get us out and the next table in. Towards the end of our mains my friend and I intentionally made it look like we were still eating (and hid our wine glasses/the bottle of wine out of their view!) to discourage them coming over so much - I really don’t think a restaurant of this calibre should require its guests to need to think/act in this way. We ordered dessert and they kindly put a candle on for my friend as I stated when making the booking that it was for a birthday so we both really appreciated this touch.
Overall, I really loved the food (kudos to the chefs!!) and the interiors inside are beautiful. It is quite expensive but the food and drinks are worth it for a special occasion. The one (big) aspect that lets Coya down unfortunately is their pushy table service that clearly just wanted to turn tables around quickly. I’m undecided if I’ll return or if I can genuinely recommend people to go there which is a shame because the food was great and I was excited about trying somewhere new in London but for me dining out should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience which sadly this really didn’t feel like.
C. F.
Service , atmosphere, food.. everything was perfect. Very good. The desert are incredible. And their ceviche are delicious.
S. M. A.
The lobster was the best choice and the seafood risotto is amazing. Overall good place for food and night out
S. P.
Top quality plates with extremely friendly service. The decor is so unique!
R.
Amazing food 👌🏻 tacos and corn salad was really good 🌟
Y. A.
Great food. Great music. Expensive.
M. A.
Absolutely loved it! From great and welcoming staff to the dessert and overall ambiance of the place. The Chilean sea bass with rice is to die for. The corn salad is also very good and the dessert was phenomenal. If you like coconut I highly recommend the rice pudding it was very delicious!
J. H.
Really good Service! Highly recommend the Ceviche selection. Extraordinary wine selection!
Z. P.
Our waitress Agnese was wonderful. She ensured that everything we ordered was suited to our dietary restrictions. She really was so sweet and made the whole experience incredibly special.
A. N.
Food excellent, waitresses are not speaking great English but they are very welcoming and you can see they are trying their best customer service. What I didn’t like was the fact I used my Code app which would have given me 30% discount on food, but when it came to paying the bill I was denied any discount on different grounds: first - I didn’t have a code (then I remembered I had to redeem my voucher and did it on the spot); second - after redeeming the code I was still denied the discount on the grounds that the time was not applying (which again is not true as the app mentions the times at which the discount applies). I paid in the end over £200 and left with a bitter taste and disappointment of the manager’s poor attitude.
R.
Excellent as always. Food was good, just not as fabulous as it used to be pre-pandemic. Pisco sours amazing.
Very good service and excellent music.
D. K.
Great atmosphere, especially if you catch a live music night.
Staff is very knowledgeable and makes you feel at home with their chats.
Fantastic food.
4 stars because we were rushed to finish desert and the bill was placed on table while we were eating. This despite the kitchen making mistakes twice which prolonged our dinner by at least 30 minutes.
Keep it classy Coya!
k. f.
Great place. Came for a hen party and the food and cocktails were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place and lovely room. Had a DJ in the room we were eating in. Unfortunately we didn't get to go downstairs and experience that part but would definitely come back and recommend to others. Only downside was the 2 toilet cubicles for the upstairs of the venue so long queues but otherwise great place.
J. G.
Top quality food. corvina truffle ceviche... WUT?! Very expensive, and a bit of the pretentious Mayfair crowd but worth it for a treat
Side note: food menus are on your phone but drinks menu is physical? Feels a bit weird being in a fancy restaurant and staring into your phone
I. Z.
Really great food in a unique atmosphere. I recommend definitely trying the guacamole, chicken wings and baby squid. There was also a good gluten free selection, with some dishes able to be modified to be gluten free. The music was really loud at first, but they happily put it down when asked. On the pricey side for sure but worth it.
B. C.
I love it here. Great food especially the ceviche's, and amazing cocktails. The music is infectious. An excellent place to bring vegetarians as there are so many options. Difficult to get a table so book well in advance or just turn up ad be really really nice to the receptionists !
Z. M.
Highly recommended! Great tasting food, lovely service, brilliant.
Pricey too!
L. P.
The best brunch I’ve been to in the uk, great value for money and the food was unreal.. great atmosphere and the staff were amazing would definitely recommend
C. F.
Professional and well decorated this restaurant has the feel of an expensive, Mayfair restaurant. The food is very good and the service was excellent. Whilst pricey, it does well to serve food of the quality you would expect for the cost. I’d recommend for anyone looking for a date night or special event for sharing quality foods.
P. J. H.
One of the best Peruvian restaurants I have ever eaten in, thank you.
E. A.
One of my favorite restaurants in London. Elegant setting and decoration, great service, fun crowd and vibe and eclectic food selection with something for everyone. It's not the easiest to get into which is also part of fun though not impossible which is even better. Enjoy!
E. C. J.
3 people, we had the tasting menu and 8 cocktails.
Good was good, well presented.
Wanted to order coffee in the end and waited 45 min - asked 3 times when restaurant was half empty. Quite surprised that service lacked and we keep getting the same message: coffees are on their way, 3 times. Not a good ending of the experience.
L. P. E.
Really nice vibe, food was amazing, great surroundings and staff were very friendly and we were never rushed (was there 2 hours + )
Highly recommended
J. H.
Best experience! For some in our company the music could be a little less monotonous. But I love the positive atmosphere.
Wonderful service and awesome food. If I will have the opportunity I will definitly come back!
K. J.
Went here for brunch. Great food and bottomless drink options. Great tapas served at the start and great main meal too. Staff are very generous with both food and drinks. Great entertainment too. On the pricey side but was great value for money.
I. 5.
Was perfect 👍 everything so...delicious 🍽️
R. M.
One of our favourite places in London. Never disappoints
O. H.
Absolutely love it. Posh - yes, expensive - well of course, great food - very delicious indeed! Service - I guess its pretty obvious they keep good, warm and welcoming stuff. My personal advice, you better have a good company to go there otherwise all in vain. 🙂
K. W.
Wonderful stylish experience. Fusion food mixture of Japanese and Peruvian Pacific and mostly fish and seafood. My son treated me for dinner on New Year' Day. Good fun service. Live trio music upstairs where we ate.
W. G.
Great food, wine, and atmosphere!
i. z.
Great food, service and cocktails
O. T.
So - I forgot to take pictures 🙈 because the food and the atmosphere were so great! Our Italian waitress ordered for us all the dishes and they were all brilliant! I also recommend to come and have a drink at the bar 30 min before your table is ready as the bartenders are really professional and cocktails are amazing!
A. M.
Over priced but trendy place to eat and drink. Our meal plus drinks came to about £90 per person.
Dishes are great, lots of contrasting flavours between the different sharing plates and presented well. But again for this price range I found myself underwhelmed by the atmosphere (club meets tapas) and service.
Wait staff and reception lacked the extra oomph and passion I'd expect. We ordered a selection of plates for the group, taking care to make sure that there was enough for everyone to taste but the restaurant misled us on certain items meaning by everyone tasted everything. We also had our steak order messed up. Manager for the night got involved but the resolution was quite unsatisfactory.
Personally, I think Lima in Leicester Square, outshines this venue.
G. V.
best food ive ever had! perfect service and lovely people 👍🏻
L. G.
Excellent Peruvian cuisine. Great service, fast and unobtrusive. Beverages are a bit pricey but that's how they make money. The food is really good, the atmosphere is nice and it's a walking distance from Green Park. I will go again. We had a discovery lunch with a glass of wine for 110 quid.
A.
Best food in town, best service in town ( if you don't mind to pay of course but you can always split with friends). Although we haven't made a reservation, the receptionist welcomed us for a one hour table where we had our dinner. Omar, our host, was welcoming and attentive and he brought all dishes in a timely manner. Highly recommended. 👍🏼

Here for brunch, the atmosphere is cool, the food was lovely.
Music was great too.
I wish I hadn't lost track of time and been able to enjoy it more. It was a great place to visit and we would definitely be back again.
Next time there won't be a huge Brexit protest going along the street so it will be easier to get there! Not their fault though.
M. B.
The venue and ambiance here is fantastic. It’s a lovely cozy environment.
Standard of food was good, but not particularly outstanding.
Service was disorganized and lacked attention to detail as well as personal detail.
As a table of five with two vegans we were disappointed that the chef decided he was unable to do tasting menus as it was only for three guests. We felt that customer needs were not met and it was more about the chefs convenience Tongan customer experience. Seeing as it was due to diet requirements, as opposed to dining indifferences, it didn’t seem right to deny a tasting menu.
Towels served at the end smelt musky and dirty and the disposition of the waiting staff appeared to be unhappy.
Nice evening but wouldn’t recommend as you have a far better dining experience in London

My favourite Peruvian restaurant in London. Book dinner and then stay late for drinks in the bar - there's DJs/live percussionists on some evenings. I always have a lot of fun there and the food is really good. I could go to COYA every month and never grew tired of it. Staff are fun!
A. S.
Delicious food and cocktails. Really friendly staff as well. The place to be in London. Great for dining or hanging out at the bar. Had some finger food while enjoying my drink at the bar during their new special Monday event with live music: azúcar. Amazing

Amazingo fablousio perfecto just great I'm writing this with my leg that's how nice it's over all awesome food and service will be back for the 9th time for sure

For a restaurant of this standard I was a little disappointed. Being a vegetarian I phoned to make a lunch reservation and enquired at the same time about vegetarian options. They clearly said that everything on the menu online would be available and I was required to leave a credit card number. On arrival I was then warned that not all vegetarian options were available before being sat down. We then enquired if the chef could make some alternative arrangements and the answer was no. We did order some dishes and the taste etc was 4 out of 5. However we were also warned that the kitchen closes at 2.15. Not a problem until it transpired that 2 plates of tacos ordered had not been made. It is an open kitchen and we got an idea of how the chef felt about the mistake. To the restaurant's credit the 2 plates were served, a little late but without too much fuss.
Taste was nice, ambience was nice, service was a little bit disappointing because of the mess up. We were made to feel at fault and fussy too, when the menu shown was not actually available, with the vegetarian options drastically reduced. It was a shame because some of the dishes were really nice.
J.
Great ambience. Great food. Extraordinarily friendly staff. Truly a great experience. One minor niggle was that the music was a bit too loud.
C. C.
Exquisite food in a lovely setting with incredibly friendly staff. We went on a Thursday night and had the tasting menu - but you really do feel rushed as they stick to the 2 hour turn times. I'd like to visit on a Monday lunchtime to eat at a more leisurely pace or pay extra to keep the table for 3 hours on a popular night.

A joy to dine here...
The service is fantastic, the food is fresh and delicious, and the cocktails are fabulous. The decor and atmosphere adds to the vibe - make sure you come half an hour before, sit at the bar and try their Pisco Sour (original, don't ruin it with any fruit/flavouring). The food is fine, delicious and authentic, with a price tag to match. The most upmarket, vibrant, premier Peruvian restaurant in London without a doubt - good for celebrations/splashing out.
G.
Incredible decor, food and cocktails. Ceviche is better than what you can ever find in Peru itself.
G. P.
Bit disappointing. Having had a great time there previously I was expecting better. It was incredibly loud meaning you had to shout across the table.
Having waited half an hour for desserts I asked the waiter what was going on and found out that the manager had forgotten to put our order into the kitchen. At this point I would have expected said manager to apologise (we had to wait another half hour) or at least knock this off the bill - neither happened. When the bill came I complained and they begrudgingly deducted the desserts but that's not how it's meant to be at a high end restaurant, especially when competing with places like Nobu and Sexy Fish just around the corner.
Drinks were good - pisco sours were excellent. Food was mostly very nice too. Arroz Nikkei, Lubina classica and crab tacos were all very tasty, asparagus not so good.
R. D.
Terrific. Great ceviche, fish tacos, miso aubergine... Fantastic food and service, lovely surroundings. But pricey.
W. B.
Staff were all very friendly, helpful and keen to tell us the COYA story which added to the experience. The food was out of this world - corvina and truffle ceviche and Chilean sea bass are a Must! Great atmosphere and I will Definitely be visiting again. Couldn’t recommend more highly! Amazing place, great food, great music, friendly staff. The concept just works. The food is fresh and healthy and the champagne bottomless.

Fantastic afternoon with my beautiful wife at Coya - we spent the first part of the meal watching our boys last assembly at primary school on our phone (sorry we wasn’t allowed to attend - COVID🙄)) the team was very accommodating and the food was amazing .ilaria & Alexassndro - looked after us really well and can’t wait to return again soon - Thank you Coya Mayfair
K. B.
Very nice food & laid back atmosphere.

This restaurant is amazing!! Hands down, every single item that was eaten and drank was made with perfection and the service is impeccable too. You will love your experience when you visit.
L. F.
Staff is very knowledgeable about the food on the menu and provides a really good insight to what is it. They clearly are also very passionate about the food the restaurant serves and we're really good at recommending some popular items. I have been back a few times and the food is always up to standard. The food option is creative and uniquely different. I took my sister who's had Peruvian food in Los Angeles and it put her off at the time. But Coya has infinitely changed her mind about Peruvian food! I personally really like the popcorn ice cream to end - the best popcorn ice cream I've ever had. Other dessert options are equally delicious.
In return for the deliciousness of the food and being in a prime location, price is steep if you are a big eater. Not a child friendly restaurant due to the noise. But this a place for the adults to have a good night out!
M. L.
Great food, but overall a very rushed dining experience for the price, with service very attentive, but a little bit too efficient. First courses placed on our table within minutes of us placing our order, which sadly set the tempo for the rest of our meal. Bill was brought to us apologetically ("my manager has asked me to") 30 minutes before our two hour reservation "window" was over - but it was politely withdrawn after we objected.
A.
Exceptional Peruvian dinner place in town.
Food comes in small portions to share. The best dishes are super delicious, but not all of them are. My favourite are the salmon tacos, the octopus with vegetables, and the quinoa salad.
With a live DJ and chilled underground sound, the atmosphere is fantastic and the setting of the restaurant makes it appropriate for couples, families, groups of friends etc.
D.
Incredible restaurant, with amazing food and ambience. Definitely on the pricier side, but well worth it.
Highly recommend the guacamole and Chilean sea bass!
F. m.
The yummiest restaurant in London, nice atmosphere, good for couples and friends, magnificent service.
J. D.
Food is great, venue is original with an amazing feeling of authenticity as soon as you get in.
The beef filet was just perfectly cooked, perfectly spiced and presented.
Service was good until it was time to pay where we left like we were being kicked out as fast as possible which you don't expect when you pay £300 for a dinner for two.
J.
Omg, the food here was amazing!!! The service was nice in the end even though it started very rocky
L. K.
We had a great dinner with a friends. Food was amazing like in every Coya around the World. However the hostess gave us the table 40 minutes late than our booking was .
C. F.
Mixed experience here. We went for the bottomless brunch with Champagne option on Saturday. Given its in Mayfair and it's quite pricey for a brunch, you expect the service to be excellent. It was fine, but just some small things that could have made it superb.
On arrival, there's not much space between the door and the registration desk. There were 3 staff members checking in 2 women in front of us. We could barely get in the door, they all took their time. No acknoledgement of us, not attempt to make some room to get us in. Then group of 4 arrived behind us and had to wait outside.
Once in, we had a area for some pre drinks. Our group were already in and had drinks, unfortunately no one came to offer my partner and I drink. Again, small thing...but expect more.
Whilst having a drink our group were offered chicken skewers as a canape. They were sticky and no napkins provided.
We had a good table when seated, tucked out the way. More canapes / starters arrived. Can't complain at all about the quantity and quality of food. It was fantastic.
Music is an eclectic mix of very nostalgic 90s and 00s, great for our group of mid to late 30 year olds.
Everyone drinking champagne had no complaint...a very attentive waiter topped you up if you were even half empty. Drinking anything else, you struggled to get the attention of anyone to get a drink order. We asked for a bucket of bottled beer, to save bothering the waiters so often, but we're told 'one drink at a time'. This works fine if you can get served...
Meal ended with a dessert platter, which was again, very good.
We left after the brunch, but actually wish we'd stayed on and headed downstairs for a dance. We were in party mood when we left, but ended up in a quiet bar...when we prob should have danced off all the food and drink!
Final comment is about the staff. Some attentive and friendly, others miserable and never smile.
Just a few tweaks around how customers are treated from start to finish and this would be a really great afternoon for any group of mates celebrating anything!
H. J.
Fabulous interiors. Gorgeous food. Great London institution. More than a bucket list item. Try the set lunch quick menu as an incredibly great value. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.
H. S.
Fun brunches. Dancing encouraged!

We were here on a Friday night and absolutely loved it! The vibe, decor, everything. Drinks and tapas were amazing too. Thank you to Kinga for looking after us throughout the night! We will be back! Customer service 10/10

One of my most favorite restaurants.Lots of different food.Mix of Japanese,Mexican and Peruvian Cuisine
m. r.
Had a warm welcome from Jack the bartender who made amazing drinks! This was shortly followed by great service from Kiki. The food is delious and I recommend trying the rib eye steak! Would happily come again.
L. O.
Beautiful decor and amazing hospitality. I enjoyed my starter (calamari), my lamb chops were a bit small but lovely. Great for a boujie date night
C.
Enjoyable meal. The food is good but maybe they should just focus on that. I don’t get restaurants with DJ’s anymore. Maybe I’m too old. Thankfully the food is excellent so you can look past it transforming into a nightclub as the night goes on. Definitely worth going for the beef dish.
P. R.
Excellent experience! Great food and service. Will visit again soon.
B. C.
Took my little sister here for her birthday and had an amazing experience! Staff were fab, food was fab, drinks were fab and free flowing! Having done a lot of brunches and experiences in London at top establishments, would have to say that this is up there with the best of them! Will definitely be going back.
L. L. W.
The cocktails are on point and it is newly refurbished so beautiful. 👌
G. C.
Classy restaurant with excellent food for relevant prices. Service can be slightly improved. Major downside: loud and not pleasant music makes difficult the conversation. Strict two hours only dining policy.
D. C.
Order far too many dishes there but you just can't help yourself to tack in to all of them.
Great deco and ambience. Tasty food with great service. We had a great time there. Will definitely go back again
A. B.
Very elegant, amazing customer service and delicious food. We celebrated my sister's birthday and it was perfect. I would definitely go there for date nights also.
W. M.
Came here on a Friday night and really enjoyed it - the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and is tastefully decorated. Service was good. In comparison to the other Peruvian restaurants in London, the ceviche's are a class above anything I have eaten before, but the pisco sours at Ceviche and Chottomatte are better. All the other food was really enjoyable and there is a really good range of interesting ingredients on the menu. Can't wait to come back
W. B.
Fab food especially the ceviches. Set lunch great value but cost can rise significantly with a few drinks. Great staff and general ambience. Churros a letdown - no different to what you would get for a few quid on the street. Will return one day.
R. Y.
Another cool new place in London - great food, great service. The ceviches are amazing! Try to get a seat in the restaurant area for more space! Otherwise you will be squeezed at the bar seating area. I hear there is live music at the private dining area - if you can get a seat there!
J. G.
Food well executed but quite simple, service friendly but a bit too attentive (always cleaning the table!) and a bit rushed but prices way off, wine menu in particular was not priced at the right level with anything drinkable starting at £60-£70 a bottle. Enjoyed our night but won’t go back.
R. B.
Food was good but ......
1) wine list has only a couple of bottles under £100 and no descriptions at all and the sommelier was frankly disdainful when we queried this and ordered a £55 bottle
2) pushy service removing plates before we had even finished eating
3) overpriced especially the wagyu steak
Waitress was nice, buzzy ambience, but overall much too up themselves to be enjoyable. Won’t be coming back.
M. B.
Very disappointed of the design, food and the menu ! ما يستاهل
I. D.
They mixed up my meal-wine pairs and this is really bad, because when you order a wine pairing meal this is not just a meal, this is an experience; at least my should have been. But they realized and they made it up. Other than this mixed up; food, service, ambiance, everything was excellent
N. S.
The best quality ceviche and some unfortunately poor steaks. Stick to what they know - the fish! Ignore the rest. You'll need some money for a full blown meal here, with the tasting menu at over £100. The venue itself is a basement, but a marvellous one. Worth a nose, if you're only visiting the bar for a drink.
H. B.
Stunning food experience, if you think you know it all, try voya, it will be a big surprise. Delicious food
R. A.
I have been here different times and always had good times and left satisfied.

Had a great time, love the setup, the food, the service.

Just had an amazing brunch at Coya. I have had dinner here previously and it was the first time for brunch. Andrea and Diego were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us! Truly amazing staff and will make me come back! I recommend Coya to anyone who is looking for a good brunch in London!
M. B.
Just feels really expensive. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. But try and eat a decent amount and it mounts up. Better the weekend brunch deal. Also they get a bit of fish when you want to take something away
A. B.
Enjoyed the Saturday Brunch, the music was crazy loud for a sit down event. Food was ok.
a.
amazing food, great service. heaven on the earth.

It's always a pleasure to come to this place. The ambiance is great with a DJ on most of the nights and the food is absolutely fantastic. Products are fresh and there is a great variety of choice in their menu. Highly recommended.

If you have never been to coya , it is a treat fir your taste buds ...ceviche....outstanding
K. M.
Excellent food and great service
I. T.
Still dreaming about the vegan food at Coya! Great vibe and cocktails were fab, margarita with avocado and green apple 🙌🏽 abundance of amazing avocado based food & drink, loved it! Vegan mushroom main was addictive, take me back any day of the week !
M. S. J.
Fun and vibrant with great food. Difficult to hear fellow diners so not great for big groups or intimate conversations. Great for foodies as dishes are shared for the table. Great cocktails and other drinks. We found the following combination great for 2 foodies and would order all again: ceviche trio (sea bass clasico, tuna chifa, corvina with truffles) and ceviche salmon nikkei, tiraditos: pez limon (yellowtail) and atun nikkei (yellowfin tuna), tacos de cangrejo(crab taco), trio de maiz (corn salad), cerdo bao (pulled pork under para picar), and solomillo de res (spicy beef fillet).
R. W.
Dinner in the bar area downstairs. Enjoyed a variety of dishes and all of good quality. Relaxed, classy atmosphere with great live tunes by a dj. Classy night out!
M. V.
Food is really good but it's quite pricey for what you get. The service is good but the main disappointment is that the place is crowded, music is very loud, and you have to scream to each other to have a conversation. Similar feeling than La Bodega Negra which also happens to be a bar. Probably a great way to start an (expensive) night out.
T. C.
The best guacamole ever ! :) Staff incredibly friendly and very helpful. Great atmosphere and great bar to stop by and have a quick chat or amazing food at the restaurant.
A. I.
Absolutely perfect! It was Peruvian cuisine but i felt it was more asian for some reason? Either way, it was lovely and the staff was excellent! Professional and high class! Next time in London we are coming back here❤❤❤
D. K.
Visited coya for the second time yesterday for the wkend brunch.
Just like my first visit, the food was average.
I had the sea bream which was served warm with no real flavour.
Our brunch was £140pp & non of our party were satisfied.
Coya brunch begins with 1hr of unlimited drinks...which is a selection of 3 mediocre beverages, maybe in an attempt to disguise people tastebuds for the meal.
Service, ambience & the dj were good but only as expected in a ‘high end’ venue.
Long way to go to compete with the brunches of hakkasan or Roka.
A. G.
Excellent atmosphere.
Very friendly service.
Extensive range of choices in starters and "to taste" menu. (though servings are small)
Distinctive mains, every one with a particular "story" behind.
Prices are an issue. My main was priced at 33£ and my desert at 22£!
So, expect at least a 60-70£ per person.
I had the luck to visit Coya as a company's guest for dinner and therefore price was not an issue.
P.S.: Depending on your choices, might be less expensive to book tickets to Peru and have dinner there...
P. H.
Amazing experience for a birthday or celebration. Great ambiance and delicious food. Can’t fault it
A.
Amazing food. Worth every penny. If you're seated in the Bar area in the evening, please note that after 20:00 it gets too noisy to be able to talk.
b. b.
An experience. Good food. Refined. Elegant. Vibrand. Expensive wine. The service was good but some plates like the main dishes should have been delivered in sync. Will visit again.
M. K. M.
Liked but not the best Coya, would say Coya in Monaco had a better menu! The service was quiet slow and the toilet was very old fashion and the materials look very old in general. But the food is yummy in general. Nice place for a date.
E. H.
Great vibe great food!
A. B.
I like it quite a lot. But it's a bit of a rip off... Yet I usually have a lot of fun when I go! Food and drinks usually are very good as you'd expect. Very clubby atmosphere, Hakkasan style. I like it but not my favorite overall. Go if you haven't been, or if you need a plan B - and don't mind the bill 😉
N. P.
Interesting fusion dishes, a buzzy and lively atmosphere, - if a bit pricy. The quality of service by staff is mixed: some good but some male-chauvinistic,mainly engaging with my male guests as if they were more important - although it was me who paid the bill!
F. G.
The best Peruvian restaurant in London. The food is excellent and the cheviche taste is the best I have never had.
The service is good and the cocktails are superlative. Even if it is not a cheap place I recommend to go
M. S.
Great foods, lovely flavour and a relaxed vibe. Its a different feel from what i'm used to. Not typical restaurant style. Coya has low chairs and table, but the ambiance and vibe is 'sit and relax'.
We ordered Chicha coldada cocktail, Trio Ceviche, Gambas,Berenjena as starters and Chuletas de Borrego and Lubina Chilena for mains. Everything on the menu is for sharing, which is good ! We finished it with dulce de leche, and sweetcorn desserts. Loved everything, a bit pricey and portions are bit small.
M. C.
Ceviches were a hit. The Chilean sea bass was like butter melting in my mouth. The desserts were mediocre. Only big minus was the incredibly loud live music that was playing in the members' area. It was too loud to have a conversation without shouting at the top of our lungs.
H. P.
A truly delightful Monday evening spent with senior friends. We enjoyed sharing a number of small plates amongst ourselves with favourite dishes including star anise infused beef steak, the most tender lamp chops ever, a fabulous few salads and refreshing yellow tail tuna ceviche. All washed down by eo bottles of perfect Chilean Reisling.
The evening cost £365 and fortunately the music was not too loud which it can be later in the week. Tables are allocated for a short time so a rather hurried dining experience spoiled the atmosphere somewhat
G. Q.
Awesome food. Fresh tasting. Great service. Super ambience
G. C.
G&M review -excellent-
Once you decided which kind of place you want, then choose Coya could be your choose, that is not a restaurant...and not a club it's both, that's why load music is ok and not 5 stars food also. But the atmosphere is nice, a stylish place, for stylish people...super for a group of friends. we will back.
M.
All is great👌🏼. Don’t miss their kale salad and beef bao
L. H.
What a fantastic venue! An array of delicious Peruvian inspired dishes to choose from, the live music brings all elements of this exclusive brand to life and nothing like it in London that I've seen! 10/10
J. B.
Might be my favourite restaurant in the world - best ceviche ever! Went there two nights in a row as they are open late (place was packed at 10pm on Sunday and Monday night). A bit pricey but the freshness and quality of ingredients is striking
P. M.
Superlative experience with everything perfect! The service is friendly, bringing quality with a great Mediterranean/Latino smile and attentive to customer requests; the food is just stunning with a very good quality price ration; for some odd reason...you will only see "beautiful people" at Coya, where class, charme and good vibes come together! Highly recommended!

Great food 🍲 Great music 🎶 Friendly professional staff 🕺Felt like that I was in Peru 🇵🇪 for real 🇬🇧
S. C.
Great atmosphere, great for dates or a night out with friends. I recommend but the portions change quite dramatically lol but its more for the experience than good quality food
C. P.
Decent food, good variety of plates, not the best value for money though! The portion were small and overvalued! Friendly and helpful staff to guide you for your choices.

Best restaurant ever! I didn't expect restaurant in London, But I recommend here and especially salmon was the best. I've been here at lunch But there were many people. Maybe u can make a reservation and its worth to go!

Super yum!!!! 👍👍👍 Imagine tapas, but Peruvian style! So tasty you can't stop eating!!! A foodies heaven on earth 👍❤️😋 Yes we have come back a few times and will certainly come back ❤️👍

London has so many restaurants... but still Coya surprised us! very trendy, very hype, but the atmosphere really takes you far away... to Latin america!!! . Food is excellent, but your wallet will remember it!
A. A.
I travel around the world and enjoy eating out. Coya has totally wowed me and is now listed among the top 3 eatery around the globe for me! I enjoyed every dish we ate that night. Coya food somehow let your taste buds savor every bite you take. Finding a reservation is tough at this place but if you want to experience an amazing dining night than you have got to make time for Coya.
J.
Awesome environment very private and Latin feeling. Loved the decoration and service . Did not eat there so can't say about the food but drinks and nibbles great

Peruvian restaurant. Very nice food. Not very expensive comparing it to other classy restaurants in London Mayfair.

Great food and service. Perfect venue for celebrations, and highly recommended.

It came recommended, had a great buzz and in the place and everyone around seemed to be enjoying themselves. But I just didn't enjoy the food, which should surely be the number one priority for a restaurant.

Excellent Peruvian restaurant with a good mix of seafood and meat dishes, posh and very stylish restaurant and bar. Good selection of red wines. Friendly staff.
