Was a bit far for me to get there but it was worth it. If you want to have fun it is a good place to go. They have bowling(you should book in advance) food and drink areas plus lots of entertainment machines. I highly recommend it.

This place is good fun, only one complaint is that the bowling pins are held in place by wires and when the pins are knocked down sometimes those wires knock over other pins which wouldn't have fallen. It her than that all good.

I’ve been coming here with family and friends for years, celebrating birthdays or just having fun. I definitely recommend it for special occasions if you’re looking for some competitive fun. The food and drinks are amazing and there’s also a very enjoyable arcade!

One of my favourite places, have been going for years. Even at my big age I still wont mind playing in the arcade. There has been occasions where the odd one or two machines play a game with you but the staff are quick to coming to help and resorting the issue faced especially when they’re busy.

Really enjoyed myself here; I haven't been bowling in over 10 years! I look forward to coming back... but my two criticisms are: 1) the bar closing long before the arcade and the bowling area does, which doesn't make much sense and 2) the selection of rewards for the tokens collected at the arcade are very poor. Loved Pinocchio's! Popped in for an early lunch. Had calamari starter and pasta Al tonno, really nice, simple but delicious meal done right. Restaurant decor dated but place is 100% authentic. Great prices and attentive staff. Fab little spot, worth a visit.

We arrived to hollywood bowl Finchley on Saturday morning, 15th January 2022 at 1130 (dates purposely there for identify the staff working that busy morning) and unfortunately missed our time slot, but the staff behind the desk, manged the situation professionally and got us a lane within 3mins. Very pleased to have people who make an effort to help others, and with a smile. Give the girl a raise, because she brings value to hollywood bowl finchley services

Very good place to spend the evening, there are like 20 bowling lanes, there’s a bar and toys for kids to play with music ok the background. On weekends there is usually a 2 hour wait or so for a bowling lane, best is to order your lane online in advance. They also have VIP lanes. Free parking outside.

I've been coming here for years. It's a great place to have fun with friends and family. We come here for the Bowling alley and it's always satisfying to knock down skittles with a bowling ball every time. Whether yoy are a beginner or professionals, every visit is enjoyable. There are lots of arcades and table air hockey. The Diner serves delicious burgers, hotdogs, heated nuts as well as a range of hot and cold beverages. There have been some occasions when a lane would stop working giving a paid game to a sudden end without any consolation or discount for future games but that's a minor thing. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and tidy. Overall it's a nice place for pleasurable experiences. I recommend. Thumbs up for you guys.

We had our son's 7th birthday here and it was great! Staff were so helpful, food was tasty and prompt and the boys had a wonderful time. The venue was very clean, including the toilets, which some have been critical of - I felt they were perfectly OK. Tablet system on the lane was neat; the kids loved seeing their stats and got pretty competitive! The amusements were a hit and and not too expensive for a bit of fun. Only criticism - the faux leather seat on our VIP lane was ripped and tired and could have done with a refurb (others looked fine), hence the missing star. Otherwise it was a lovely party, really easy to organise online and fun for all!

We went to kids party today for bowling. I felt so uneasy with arcade because there were so many childern. I dont think there is cleaning products on games and machines surface. I had to kept pouring my daughter hand gel every time they play. Too coward in bowling.

Great place to go Bowling! I've been going to this place since I was in my late teens and have always had a blast. They are always pretty busy tho - so best to book in advanced - especially on weekends and holidays. Inside - they also have a good selection of arcades, games, as well as pool tables and a bar if you're waiting around or looking to blow off some steam after bowling. The bowling is also situated in a parking lot with easy dining places (Nandos, Mcdonalds etc) and also a cinema (Vue) - so you can easily make a whole day of it with friends and family without having to go very far! Definitely recommend.

Bowling is bowling no matter where you go. What makes this venue great though is that the staff are great, there's food and drink options inside the venue as well as a few food options outside the venue such as Nandos, McDonalds, Wagamamas, Pizza Hut and a few more. In addition, there's a huge free car park so thats a bonus as it one less thing you have to stress about. Highly recommend it, it's loads of fun when you come down with friends. After an exhilarating couple rounds of bowling you can head in to the arcade and complete with your friends in games such as Mario Kart (My favourite), flappy bird, air hockey, pool and more.

This place has just become over the years as iconic location for me wether it was being at secondary school going with friends on the weekends or even now having my own children coming for there parties it's just a straight forward place to get to in terms of location the staff are great and the arcade is just a bonus as it keeps EVERYONE busy for hours lol. Neighboring cinema and great restaurants it's really nice. However the only reason I'll be giving the place a 4* instead of 5* is due to our last visit as we hadn't visited in a while the staff seem to be lacking discipline as in we were looking for a staff to assist in a birthday cake that was brought for my little brother but we found staff having chats among themselfs forgetting there at work (youngsters) and also the hygiene could do with a little touch up after people have vacated the bowling alleys and toilets.

Whenever we go bowling we vist here as its situated within a convenient group of restaurants. The bowling is great here however I wouldn't eat here. Have a drink and grab a bite to eat from outside. There always seems to be a staff shortage issue and it shows on frustrated people's faces as they mope around waiting for attention. It's gets very busy at peak times and I mean solid busy like a club! All in all if you don't let things bother you it's a fun night and the kids love it.

This is a really fun venue. Management and staff here are fantastic. We spilled a load of drinks and they were so good about it, so helpful and clearly only concerned that we had a good time.

It has everything in 1 in order to spend a lovely, entertaining fun day out or evening. Various places to eat and Drink! There's also a cinema, bowling and game rooms!!; and it's literally so easy to get to, right next to the A406, get off of it and it's right there, North Finchley exit.

This is an amazing place! The bowling alley is so bright and neon, and the different weighted balls makes it easier to roll. The menu is awesome too, and they have a special part of the menu for halal-eaters which was great (I suggest you try the milkshakes 🤤) They also have a great arcade, which a wide variety of games. Some games give you tickets at the end, which you can later exchange if prizes at the front desk. Definitely recommend!!

What a joyful establishment. Full of happiness and gayly fun. Reminds me of my youth. Wars have been fought for this freedom, for this opportunity of fun. For the ability to bowl, what a unique experience! To throw a heavy ball with some holes in them at a group of pins is quite the experience. A great import from whichever great land had created this. A statue must be made of its creator; Leonardo of Venice perhaps. I'm rather blown away. Gratulor!!!!!

Loved the alleys and the arcade. Quite rushed games though as they only allow specific time and if you have kids with you you might struggle to finish on time. The restaurant - bar area was grim...very dirty, tables- chairs with insufficcient staff, there were 2 people and could kill you with kindness and very quick but they'd need 6 hands to manage the demand.

Good fun as always. The lane bugged out and gave my mate two free strikes but I still beat him. Atmosphere is always good, music plays but you need more pool tables and not the small tables. The arcade token counters broke but the staff sorted it out. And one game ran out of tokens halfway through dispersing tokens. All in all was fun, got a slinky and a peach air freshener.

We came for the arcades on a Sunday. It was ok, it had some nice games for the kids and some other fun games, that spit out coupons. You can trade them in for some *eh hem* prizes.... Lol you spend about about £20 which will net you just about enough coupons for a Refresher bar and a Maoam!! Sigh... was never going to be like the arcades in the late 80's 90's...Going to an arcade then was actually magical. You would even go just to be there man. Just to go and watch some kid, who had mad talent play Street fighter 2...Nightmare addition... Ultra...alpha...7...lol about 20 kids around one guy on a machine... again could never be like the old days... It will keep the kids entertained for an hour or so. So it is a win I guess!

Took my daughter for the first time today. It was alright. Staff that we had interacted with were friendly. There are signs up for face masks and also hand gels around the premises to use at each bowling lane. There were some arcade machines that needed tickets refilled and although there were a couple staff around the arcade area that were clearly aware of it, didn't refill the tickets whilst I was present. I would suggest having antibac wipes or spray for customers in the arcade area too so they can wipe down equipment before using. The restroom sinks are a joke. You literally have to press it every second on every tap.They are also too high for kids to use although it's a kids venue. There is a cashpoint and change machine on site for the arcade area. However, do bear in mind that the cash machine charges a fee to use. It wasn't a spectacular and there is room for improvement but we had a enjoyable day out hence the 3 stars as its a neutral rating.

Way too many youngsters coming as groups and shouting. I really enjoy visiting here and playing games but the youngsters make me uncomfortable because they don’t seem to come here to play games. I must say i dont feel safe when theres groups like this. They should only allow people who are their to spend money and play games if not they must leave. Friendly staff who help straight away if you need help with anything. However the security guards outside need to come inside and check inside too because i don’t see any security guard inside their only at the door.

Over the till was very nice young man who immediately gave us the lane after he heard our bad experience with Finsbury Bowling Centre. This is nice family orientated place, and we had fantastic time there. Music is nice, bar staff is OK so what do you need more?

Staff was polite and attentive, they have a restaurnt and bar inside and a small arcade, not the best of games but will definitely have the children hooked. One game of bowling for 2 adults came to about £16 I thought it was fairly priced to be honest but others may beg to differ. However the 10 pin game was really good and would recommend.

Thr facilities are good and we enjoyed ourselves, but the prices, especially when you're taking children are very high. It was school holidays, but it wasn't busy, so they would do better to be cheaper and get full than charge such high prices. We had one game - would have probably spent more if the prices were less per game as we would have had 2 games. When you're bringing 4 little ones it's too expensive.

First time in ages I've been bowling and it has had a few improvements which are very nice however some aspects are still the same. They reduced the number of tickets to get the smaller prizes for kids. They have more lanes than I remember but feels slightly tighter together than it used to be but that may be because they now have tables a lot lower for drinks rather than the odd ones which were about chest height. There is a larger selection of arcade games now and Saturday night isn't as packed as it used to be. Price for bowling is still expensive but no obligation to change shoes... In fact you now have to pay extra to use their bowling shoes... Maybe if you want to rent clown shoes for a day?

The staff were friendly and helpful but not enough of them around for a very busy time during half term. There were only two at the desk. Our game froze which they manged to fix quite promptly as soon as I was able to find a member of staff to help. The ladies toilets were dreadful, the three that I went to use were blocked with waste, not at all acceptable. I ended up having to use the one clean toilet which had an out of order sign because the seat was broken! That one thankly wasn't blocked

Nice bowling alley, however it is always sticky and in need of a tidy up - I realise the customers are leaving it in this state but lanes do not get cleared inbetween bookings of drinks and food etc making it a not very pleasant experience for the next customer. When you ask staff to clear things away it is done with little enthusiasm and seems to be more of an inconvenience to them. It's a shame as the alley is nice and always seems to have lots of customers - just needs more staff clearing up.

First time I went...not so much but when I went to fun with a group of friends and not supervising a trip...oooh I had a whirl of a time!! The staff members were very friendly, food order was prompt and tasty, affordable drinks from the bar too. I definitely enjoyed myself there. Might be better for have some way of explaining how the small screen works before the game began instead of having to guess how to change team names and so on. Saying that though, there was a quick response when we requested assistance through the small screen. Overall....loved it 😊

Just like to say firstly that the staff were great, friendly and helpful. Food was ok, we had the nachos and wings - its standard bowling food. And the arcade is great fun. We went on a Sunday and it was absolutely heaving - to the point of tripping over children every direction you walked. I know it's a business and they are trying to make money but it really was packed and it made the experience annoying and arduous. I am not sure if it was just our lane, but the lane kept breaking and we had to get it fixed several times. The staff were great, quick and efficient, but with the lane breaking so often it really slowed down the game.

The experience is amazing! The staff are extremely helpful whether you need help with the bowling track or the arcade. Drinks including mocktails and cocktails are delicious and refreshing! The only downside is that the arcade machines take your money without starting sometimes but the staff are always there to help. Would definitely recommend visiting😄

There was no food or drink, which was really disappointing. Have been there plenty of times before, not had a y issue's. Bowling was good. Happy with the overall experience. The arcade area is very good as well, as there is soooo much choice. Kept my 3 year old busy for a while, once he got bored of bowling. Shame about the food and drink, as we were not told this when we booked, which was earlier in the day. Kids were getting restless with no food. Otherwise, it is good!

Good bowling experience but arcade only had one ticket machine so there was a huge queue waiting for people to put their tickets into the machine. It was a big problem especially because most people had over 1,000 tickets to put through which meant a lot of people were waiting in the queue (making certain areas unnecessarily crowded)

I LOVE this place!!! The bowling may be slightly expensive trip out but there is something for everyone. There is an arcade inside the bowling building so you have something to do whilst waiting for your time on the alleys. they have a bar for any adults waiting for their children party to finish. y0ou no longer have to wear the bowling shoes, and you can now just wear your own trainers. all of the staff are very friendly.

Haven't played bowling for a few years, I didn't know what to expect from this place. It's spacious, many lines and on Saturday evening (when I went there) I still could find space for me and my friends. The music was OK, modern pop/hip hip and not too loud so you can speak normally. The downside: the crowd was a bid young for me... Mainly teenagers, that just turned 18. Drinks were OK, I had a pint of Guinness which was fine. Food we did not have, so can't really comment on that. Overall, enjoyable experience.

Most miserable staff you've ever met. Arrived at the front desk. Asked our surname which followed 'lane number XX, go ahead when ready.' At least the bar staff were better, smiled and polite. We ordered a couple of small sides as well as some soft drinks. We took our drinks to our lane and our food arrived promptly. All hot and surprisingly edible. The lanes were are clean. Empty glasses weren't left for long after lanes became vacant. So staff were attentive.

It's OK. Been coming here for a decade. If it's bowling you're after, it's a decent enough experience, whether with friends or family. There is a selection of arcade machines and games too, as well as 4 pool tables. The pool tables are in rather poor condition and have cues missing. The arcade machines are your standard arsenal, with some classics and brand new games. The bowling alley and bar are very pleasant, with staff who really try.

One of the few remaining ten pin bowling alleys in London. We have a family gathering here every Xmas eve and we all look forward to it. You can “tailor” the lanes to each persons ability with the gutter guards and there are ball ramps for young kids. A good fun sport foe all!

It was a bit crowded as I guess this is usual on Sundays, we had booked a line but had to wait quite a while to start playing and there wasn't enough staff by the bar. To order some drinks we waited half an our just to be asked what we would like. Also our bowling line had some technical problems, and it took a while to be fixed. As we were there for a birthday celebration, it wasn't pleasant to make the kids wait.

Hired a lane for my mothers birthday, requested a VIP lane, and lets say if thats what they class as VIP, don't waste your money on it. We had our area given to us 15 mins late, even though asked to arrive 15 mins before our booked time or we'd be charged for lateness and lose our time slot. When finally arriving at our area, the previous parties drinks and dirty plates were left everywhere, that's VIP treatment for you! We cleared the glasses and plates ourselves, the so called curtained area, wasn't even properly sectioned off, we kept getting kids running across the lanes, our lanes malfunctioned several times requiring assistance that took forever to arrive, this meant our alloted time was spent waiting around. All in all don't hire if you want your party ruined.

In desperate need of an upgrade. This place is closest to my house and I love bowling so I have been there frequently, I have an issue of sorts almost every time. Even though closing time is displayed on the website, bowling cannot be purchased after a certain time. E.g. on a day they close at 12, last time to bowl is 11pm unless you buy tickets online. The lanes do not always work, I've had to switch lanes mid game before which is really annoying. Arcade games and machines malfunction pretty often; change machines do not work, air hockey works sometimes, basketball machines do not record your score properly. All in all, not my first option but if you wanna do something kinda fun and don't want to travel far then its a decent place, serves most of its purpose

It's is reasonably priced (except for the food, but a food court is opposite) and an enjoyable time, but we only keep coming back because it's local. The experience feels a little 'manufactured' and it's atmosphere is fun but somewhat stifled I feel. It is well presented and professional however and we do enjoy ourselves. And the arcade (if you have some cash to spare) is a fun place to head to aswell. Average prices, about a quid for anything, be it pool or air hockey or a machine. Amusement arcade has fun games, though is a bit crowded. Most things cost £1, which I find is reasonable. However, it's a poorly organised place. Change machines have no change, ATMs don't work and staff can't give cashback ("Sorry, but there's a petrol station 10 minutes down the road that can give you cash"!), machines don't have enough paper in them to print prize vouchers when you've won, etc. The bar there didn't even have Coke, which I find quite a fundamental mistake. Nevertheless, while my cash lasted, I had a nice time with my nephews.

This is set within a leisure park with a selection of restaurants, to include Nandos, Chiquitos and Pizza Hut, so you could really make an outing of it. There is also a Vue Cinema within the park. There are plenty of parking spaces with disabled parking right outside each establishment. Hollywood Bowl itself has around 20 lanes for bowling. It also boasts an arcade with lots of video games, hoops and air hockey; a bar area and restaurant; though you can choose to have your food/drink brought to your lane, whilst bowling. There are themed nights, music playing the latest hits and if you register with them you will receive regular discounted offers. It usually gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights and half terms.
