Absolutely the best place I have been to hands down. Hidden gem doesn't even cut it when describing this venue. From the low key entrance to the bar and music and people, all of it comes together to form an amazing atmosphere and vive that anyone could get lost in and enjoy themselves. You don't even have to like jazz music to appreciate and enjoy this place. And the fact that it's in Greenwich one of the best and most beautiful areas of London is just the cherry on top.

Nice cosy and intimate venue. The band we saw were also really good during our visit. You do have to pay a small entry fee but it felt worth it for the experience and to support the artists (assuming they get some). Toilets could be a little nicer and maybe the option of cocktails too would be good.

Hidden away a few minutes walk from Greenwich High Street, this tiny two room cellar bar has live music every night. The main bar had a roaring fire the night I was there keeping everything cosy from the cold outside. It was a wet Monday at the end of Feb, yet there was a great vibe. My lager was warm and they struggled to find a cold one, but it was otherwise a great experience.

One of our favourite jazz places in Greenwich! This cosy bar has a great selection of live jazz all the time. It mostly cost £10/person, they do not serve food but you’re welcome to bring your own stuff. They have alcohol tho! Lovely atmosphere, very cosy, great music…all you need to have a great evening!

His location worked amazingly as it has so many rooms each with its own but of character, Oliver jazz bar is definitely ideal for any night out whether that be a night out dancing or a nice chill pint or glass of wine and a catchup with friends

Intimate underground jazz bar in Greenwich 🎷 It may be hard to find the door (we missed it at first and went straight to the shed!) but once you're inside it's warm and lively. We bought our drinks at the bar and got seated for the performance by 9:30pm. A little into the performance a staff member came around collecting the cover charge of £8 and gave us a ticket number in return. The band was a full set - saxophone, cello, keys and guitar but performance was varied (not enough smooth numbers for my liking). At half time, when the band took a break, we realised that the tickets we got with our payment were raffle tickets! Lucky number 17 won a bottle of bubbly 🍾 I think this was a great gesture by the owner. Moments later, the entire room started singing as a staff member brought in a birthday cake with a candle on it for the table next to ours. Something you'd normally expect in a restaurant but a rather aww moment in a jazz bar. ⭐ namobytes ~ little bytes of insight ⭐ We were there on a Saturday night and it was house full. Be sure to reserve your table in advance!

Down the alley, look for the door on the left. Then down a flight of stairs. Bar to the right is where you’ll find the man hisself - with a nice coal fire on the grate. To the left is the main room with some great players. I’m inclined to keep this place to myself but, good luck finding it!

Great live jazz music, and atmosphere. A real burning fire place in a cosy underground bunker. The entrance is very different to most bars, it looks like you are entering someone's house. This one has alot of character. The separate area where the Jazz musicians play is nice and darkly lit with small 2 person tables. Worth a visit!

Quirky little find in Greenwich, located near the town centre in a back street. Good choice of beers and wines, with a few bottled ciders. They have jazz bands performing most nights, some of which you need to pay an admission fee, unless they are from the nearby university. Formerly wine cellars, this place offers a cosy vibe. Well worth checking out for a drink if you're in the area. I don't believe they sell food.

It's my favourite place in Greenwich. Friday and Saturday always live music. It's in a wine cellar, so very cosy. I would have given 5 stars but there isn't much seats to see the band and if you come late then you won't have the chance to see the band as there isn't even anywhere to stand. Second thing is the price of wine. A bottle of house is £18, come on! It is a bit too much. But I would still keep on going there as I love it anyway

A secret in the middle of Greenwich hidden away in a small lane. This underground bar offers live performances in a very cosy and cool atmosphere. For the best tables you can call and make a reservation. Definitely recommend it.

Oliver's Music Bar is one of those places that you'd never stumble upon. That's not to say that it's impossible to find (no passwords or dark alleys here) but you'd need to be looking for it. But that just adds to its charm. This underground bar doesn't have much in the way of drinks (not much besides wine anyway) but it does have live jazz - expect to pay around £5 for that. Like most local bars it's also very casual. So casual that the piano player was wearing an Adidas jacket and didn't look out of place. If you come in a fancy dress you won't feel awkward but you would feel, well, dressy. Just come in jeans and you'll fit right in. Thanks to its secret vibe and dark corners, this place is perfect for a date. But I went with a large group and that was lovely too. Don't bother coming before 8.30 though - it's completely dead before then.
