Reviews of Trisha's
K. G.
This is the oldest most comfortable, family run "membership only" after hours in the city- been around for over 40years and always a smile to greet us when we come in. Low music and a few drinks after work here hits the spot. Hope to see it continuing with Trish and family for at least another 50years. Luv Trishas forever member KC x

This bar is legendary. Full of surprises, Cheap drinks, good company with a touch of sleaze. What happens in Trisha's stays in Trisha's. Enjoy

70 Yeats old, this place is legendary! Tucked away, sometimes people who have been there before can't remember how to find it, but yet this is a place has a character and atmosphere you'll never forget. What it lacks in opulent decor, it makes up for in it's eclectic mix of patrons. This is a hidden gem, transporting you back to the Soho of yesteryear that needs to be experienced! You may or may not like it, but you do need to experience it!
J. M.
Great music and nice atmosphere. They don't let too many people inside so you don't feel crowded. Affordable drinks considering you are in Soho. Totally recommended!
P. M. L.
Great little spot with live music, a little crowded but loads of character.
G. B.
Had a brilliant night live music some sensible people but the security/pot man has a very bad attitude that will put people off going will cost you but the music was brilliant 🍻
J. F.
Absolutely lovely little hole in the wall (or ground), great music good selection of drinks and an amazing atmosphere, definitely a place to visit.
F. K.
Fantastico! Great place, great people, fantastic vibe, loved it! Thank you so much, felt like home x
U. C.
Wow.. This place we found because my friend just remembered it out of no where.. There is no sign board no way to find it.. So you need to know where you are going.. In the basement.. Small jazz club in the heart of Soho.. One of the best jazz place ever.. You have to visit it..
C. J. T.
Still going, still fabulous. Lovely to see Trish herself and all of the other lovely staff. Nabeel amazing as always. My favourite bar in London. Keep going Trish! Love you xxx
P. I.
I wouldn't say it's my favourite, but I wouldn't miss it either. It's an experience!
It's definitely not a mainstream experience. It is a small place, there is a entrance fee and the drinks are a bot cheaper than the average Soho price. Some people that hang around the bar can also be seen in photos on the walls, which gives the place a surreal vibe. The bathrooms back onto an outside garden. Nothing about this place is typical.
S. F.
Traditional jazz bar in the heart of Soho. Unchanged since the 1960s.
T. W.
Great underground haunt.
Can get crowded but a great spot.

Tricia’s is my local cellar bar. Small, intimate and friendly; it retains its “faded” Soho feel. I enjoy it’s colourful character and interesting drinkers. It’s popular with small groups of women. There is some dancing and live music.
P. G.
This place is like dropping back in time. Fantastic live music and feel
P. L.
Really friendly little drinking place with very reasonable drink prices.
B. C.
Amazing, iconic Soho institution.
M. C.
Still great. Time capsule of the best of Soho.
A. H.
A riot as always. A cool dive late night hangout. X
J. S.
Always a warm welcome nice place to have a beer later in the night
J. S.
Very much old school vibe, best well kept secret!
J. B.
One of the few real dive bars in central London. The first challenge is to find it, but once you go, this place does exactly what it says on the tin. Drinks are very reasonably priced. The guys running it are a sound bunch of chaps and although we've not caught any jazz yet, we are certainly going to find a gig soon.
E. T.
I just became a member. It's now my favourite bar in the whole of London.
The 1st time I came as a non member the owner provided plates so that I could share by birthday cake with everyone. Plus put on a birthday track. Plus gave me a free bottle of bubbly. Totally blown away by his generosity and open heart.
Everyone I've met there is up for just chatting away with you. It's lovely. And so many interesting people. Plus the drinks are cheap.
I'd give it 10 stars if I could
D. P.
Love this place really is a hidden gem near Carnaby street. Brilliant jazz nights and one of the cheapest places for a drink in central London. Good crowd of people no idiots. Cosy atmosphere and decent staff. Be patient at the bar though...it's small and if you are not a regular could be in for a wait but still a good night.
T. F.
Favourite little speakeasy in london
P. B.
Popped into Trisha's for the first time today with a friend of mine and was so impressed it reminded me of how Soho used to be,full of characters and a lovely cosy bar can't wait to go back.🍾🍹🍻
A. B.
We went there to a jazz gig for only members (and their friends). It's very small place which takes you a bit into different time frame.
It was nice and lovely athmosphere, although the small space was not something I enjoyed.
S. E.
One of those places you can't believe exists, lovely intimate spot for reasonably priced drinks, by Londons prices. Drinks were also accompanied by a talented blues/swing singer and excellent 2 piece band. Can't wait to go to this place again! Thank you Anthony Bourdain for the recommendation!
W.
If you come early, the owner Trisha or the bar keeper might tell you about the long history of this place and how unique it is, in the nightlife of London. It's a place to meet and speak to any person in the bar, to dance and to make friends. A truly great bar.
T. C.
Been many times, and has so much unique character and charm. Small but full of interesting and eclectic people
D. L.
A well-hidden, proper Soho drinking den, entirely off the traditional tourist trail. No outward sign that this is a bar/club at all. Look for the blue door at 57, if it's open then the bar is open, go downstairs to the left. The decor is unusual, pictures of Popes, Italian football teams and various gangsters. Small selection of drinks and a tiny smoking area but very atmospheric and evocative of the time when Soho had dozens of similar places.
J. K.
Bastion of fun in soho with spirit and verve that hasn't been broken by draconian changes. Best doorman in town (who will come out for a dance with you and your friends as the sun comes up when none of you wish to go home yet.)
C. C.
The bad news: it gets 'discovered' by walking beanie hats (hipsters in layman's terms) every night. But when you separate the wheat from the chaff, the wannabe's from the regulars, there is nowhere in the world quite like Trisha's Bar.
You'll have as good a time here by yourself than with friends, and if willing; you can meet some of the city's genuine eccentrics! Including art dealers, hoods, photographers, comedians and east-end criminals. And for some reason, it all blends amicably... If you're willing to put yourself out there, and substitute good alcohol for cheap dive-bar booze (and fascinating company), go to Trisha's.
B. G.
Gurt lush. X
J. B.
One of the last great soho spots
J. C.
My favourite bar in Soho. Great drinks at a good price, fantastic crowd, and good music. As unpretentious as it gets - just a boss night all round.
M. F.
Chilled out bar for a Saturday, good place to start a night
A. S.
There's no sign or any indication that, if you follow the nondescript corridor and go down the stairs that there's a rather lovely little bar - perfect for impressing your mates with your insider knowledge of London. (Tip: The entrance is directly opposite The Pillars of Hercules.) Dimly lit, walls decorated in vinyl sleeves and family pictures hanging everywhere, The Hideout has cosy atmosphere by the bucketload. There are only three large tables, usually inhabited by groups of noisy and cool Italians, so couples are better off sitting on stools at the bar. It can get very busy, loud and cramped, so arrive no later than 7 if you want any chance of grabbing a seat.
F. Y.
Great vibe, small but cozy place to hang out. Unfortunately was quite loud for what I guess isn't meant to be a dancing spot?
R. A.
Miss this place so much, always a joy here and look forward to returning.
P. C.
Come on guys; you're in soho. This bar is my favorite in London. Truly stellar, and the bar staff are fantastic. If you like to mingle, this is the place for you.
V. B.
Amazing little jazz bar, right in the middle of Soho. Cheap drinks and a chilled out vibe. Not many places like this in Soho anymore.
p. s.
Amazing bit of old Soho
D. A.
Small and cosy speakeasy with cheap booze, quite busy on weekends, great music and wonderful staff. Absolutely the best in the area.
W. K.
Trisha's is a great spot - I've never had a bad night there. Always an interesting crowd.
T. C.
Fantastic old school Soho dive bar. Reminds me of the old days. Great to see some familiar faces but not overrun by flash hipsters.
D. P.
Famous Italian Social Club with Italian staff and photos of film stars and notable Italian residents 1920 - 2000. A must visit bar!
T. C.
Very different experience from any bar, located in basement of building through a house door. Great music and good selection of beers and spirits
E. R.
Intimate, dark, and friendly this tiny speakeasy will transport you back to another time, one that may never actually have existed.
R. A.
This is a late night bar that is reasonably priced and where you can meet a good mix of people
J. A.
I f**king love this place - I can't recommend it enough! Fun atmosphere and a really friendly crowd.
N. P.
Friendliest people I have ever met in London and great jazz live music!
N. W.
One of the very few places left that's true old Soho. Full of character and full of history. Long may it remain an essential part of soho.
J. S.
Best little bar in london. You have to visit, if you can find it!
E. J.
I would give it 5 stars 3 years ago when the door policy was much less strict, it's
now a members only club, they would even turn some old members away unless they pay.
C. C.
Such a great find. Great music and an eclectic bunch of people. Drinks are cheap too.
r. V.
