Went here on a wet & blustery Saturday afternoon… myself & my wife were staying at a hotel just up the road and we stumbled across this place whilst looking for somewhere nearby to get out of the rain! Our initial thoughts when we saw the menu was that they were spreading their choices too wide, we’ve eaten at places before that cater for a million different cuisines (from pizzas to curries to fish & chips to Thai food), we’ve usually found the food to be of a sub standard quality when it’s been like that but we were both pleasantly surprised how good our food was. I had the Norrbrod (avocado, smoked salmon on rye bread) and my wife had Pad Thai, both really good sized, delicious portions. The staff were very friendly & helpful too!

Smart restaurant which compliments the hotel. You can’t go wrong with a sirloin steak and the Exchange lounge doesn’t beer far from tried and tested. The flavour was satisfying. Crisp and charred outside with a rare interior that home cooking struggles to achieve. The flavour might have been better with a day or 2 of aging and a wee bit more peppercorns in the sauce but I’m nitpicking. My go to bearnaise sauce was unavailable but I’m nitpicking. Chips were perfection and the front of house and waitstaff sparkling enough to warrant a tip.

Great food and drinks here. Didn't realise that anyone could walk in although it's attached to a hotel. Great chilled out vibe but with a classier feel. The food was delicious and the drinks were great too. The service was second to none

Went here with a wowcher deal 2 course brunch and bottomless prosecco for 90 mins booking was easy you just rang up to arrange when to go just check what time it finishes so you get the full 90 minutes got there 15 mins early but they let us in chef came and spoke to us to explain the food i had eggs benedict with salmon which was 2 eggs and my mum had avocado on toast with bacon which was 2 pieces of toast thick layer of avocado and 2 thick slices of bacon on each slice of toast with a little side salad both delicious and the ingredients were fresh for dessert we both had pancakes with fruit delicious the waitress who served us was very good and served us prosecco regularly when the 90 minutes was up she came round for the final time topped up the glasses and said that it was finished which was good there was also a complimentary glass of water with lemon would definitely recommend and come back again

Good menu choice. Excellent and friendly staff. You have GOT to try the Vinte Cheesecake! Didn't hurt that I was able to see the England cricket team progress to the semis of the World Cup....

Nice bar just off Portland street . They don’t do enough promotion to make people aware it exists! recently started a 50% off deal which makes it worth while . Nice staff and good beer choice

Good venue. Food is "nice", nothing too spectacular. Prices outside of lunch are high for the quality you receive. Nonetheless, it's a nice place for a drink and the service is never bad.
