Strongbow cider just gained a new fan. Got to this place around 3:30 on a Tuesday and it’s pretty empty, but that’s ok because we enjoyed the drink and relaxation.

I had a wonderful experience at the Flour and Flagon. The food arrived very quickly and Quiz Master Flash is super friendly and made great quizes on a Thursday night. I would highly recommend going on a Thursday night for the quiz and the karaoke.

The karaoke was amazing, I have asked some songs that was not in the list and he was happy to download the song and let me sing Infront of my friends. Quizmaster Flash he called himself was friendly and had a great laugh with me and my friends while his assistant Alex was cheering when I was singing songs when I was nervous, which I am very grateful for. Food was great as it was quick, and not expected it to be fast, sadly I couldn't take any images of the food because the food was so good 🙃, worth a visit for a cheap, friendly cheer environment.

Me and some of my friends went here for the first time on Saturday. We met an absolutely lovely gentleman working there, his name was Brandon as I recall. Amazing service from him and honestly couldn't find better service anywhere else! Highly recommend coming here as was an amazing night overall but Brandon topped it!!! :)

Awesome place, especially the Thursday nights quizzioke. Been regulars for years and The DJ quiz master is one of the best around, such a great guy and makes us laugh everytime. The karaoke afterwards too is great and it gets so busy and popular it feels like your own gigs going on. Can't rate this night enough for anyone.

I often come here for food and end up staying for the beer. They have a good selection and keep it well. It gets busy in the evenings as it's a very popular pub for students. Food is decent portions and prices, and the puddings are tasty. Has a small outside seating area for smoking that fills up fast even when cold outside.

Fantastic Pub with a groovy club behind it. Very student focused, but welcoming to non-students too. Has a couple pool tables, Air hockey, Football-table, Jukebox and a good selection of great tasting food. Best value comes when the students are on holiday (Summer / Easter / Christmas Breaks) as this is when they're at the low custom time. Club is fantastic with a large dancefloor, long and easily accessible bar. Great Drink deals also available.

Happy accident finding this place when looking for a vegan meal for a friend. I think there was only one vegan option but it was delicious and I wish I had got it as my main meal. Not all burger options were available which was disappointing. Couldn't quite figure it out but the place had a weird fresh varnish type smell which wasn't ideal but not a deal breaker.

So recently I needed a cheap and Oxford Road location for a party for 200 people on Gay Pride weekend. Samantha, the landlord, was excellent. She was very helpful and made the whole process very easy. The whisky selection is above average, especially if you are partial to a dram or three. My only criticism, is that at times the bar staff in the Pub section decided to serve friends/ locals first at the end of the bar. Apart from that it, would have scored five stars.

Nice place to grab a drink and enjoy the good atmosphere of the pub. They have a good selection of cask ales at affordable prices, with an option of loyalty card to get a free beer after the 7th. The music selection is really good, with both classics and actual indi-pop-rock and there are different areas with different volumes to enjoy the music. They also have foosball table and pool, and organise several pub games and quizes.

Though it's listed as 2 places the only half worth talking about for me is Zoo, aptly located round the rear. The grimey, dark warehouse was a delightful place for the same kind of night, fuelled by 99p vks, or similar when we used to regularly frequent there. Zoo was simply a den of wild behaviour. I have a small amount of time for the front of house pub, the Pub, simply for it simplistic humour. "Let's go to the pub.." "Which one?..." Oh no, I can't. I just can't.

It serves it's purpose. Very average. Don't bother trying to eat here if you only have, say, a three-hour lunch break. The food takes forever. We had to wait forty minutes, *queued up* to complain with everyone else, then discovered that our luke-warm food had been ready for 'ages'. No explanation.
