C. T.Simply put, if you are even slightly considering going to The Warehouse Project, do it! Regardless of whatever music is playing on the night, the atmosphere is sure to be electric. The capacity is immense - it felt like there must have been around 10,000 people inside when I went. The sound system is second to none; you can literally FEEL every little nuance of the music.
Yes the queues can be long, and yes the toilets could be cleaner, but frankly you will not care in the least. If you want a memorable night for the right reasons, just go...you won't regret it.
K.Good venue but it can get super crowded depending on who's on. Not obvious where the water taps are, toilets are horrific, but somehow I keep coming back. Easy to walk to from Piccadilly station so good for those coming from other cities. Decent.

C. I.Incredible venue with amazing lighting. The sound was loud but a but unclear and could have had a bit more bass. The sound system needs fixing through a new one if it's being pushed past its limit. Beverage prices also too steep. Most people there seemed very friendly to me and easy to talk to. All in all I absolutely loved it and it was one of the best nights I've ever had in my life and I would definitely want to return.
n. b.Dark, run down, damp, cold, water dripping from the roof. All that does not matter and adds to the atmosphere when your there to see great music. Quite an experience.
D.Huge carpark that is converted into a nightclub/concert venue. The security was a little aggressive but was also making sure everyone was safe. They were even handing out bottles of water to people who needed them in the crowd. Unfortunately this was the last year the event will be held at this location.

A. N.Did two nights this year.. Unbelievable music and atmosphere. But this year it felt like a total money grab. Early final entry and £5.50 for a small can of beer, massive queues for bar and toilet. Won't be going next year
L. C.It's well organised and great place to be. Very helpful and friendly staff. Had great fun. Net lots of chatty people and helped quite a few. We just want people safe. Our team were Manning the Welfare tent as a Village Angel for the LGBT foundation.
A. V.Tbh, its a bit overrated. The location is amazing for a rave! The lineup is top notch. However, I feel like all artists tried to please the uk culture, not playing their songs. They mix really heavy and bassy songs. Went at a few events this year and the one I was expecting the most, was the least entertaining (Carl Cox and Peggy Gou). They did not play their style of music and the event felt off. Anyway, cool nights out!
K. T.Warehouse Project will forever be one of the best events held in this country. Line ups are always amazing. They have the best venues and the energy in there is contagious, its got the spirit of Manchester
F. M.We went for homobloc, really great atmosphere, the dancers + performers were amazing and really made it for me. Sound quality wasn't great, very bass heavy. Toilets are portaloos and proper disgusting, not enough food in the "food village" (2 food trucks and 3 trucks all serving cocktails?!) to cater for 10,000 between last entry - 3 (people get hungry!!!), we waited a long time to queue for pizza and by the time we got to the front we got told to leave because they were closing the outdoor area. Had to put up quite an argument with the aggressive security staff to make our case. Quite hostile behaviour from them towards us and the food vendors about a situation which could have been avoided if there was more food available.
N. U.Needs a better toilet solution, just a straight up fight to pee. Other than that, wicked venue.

H.We went as a big group. Staff friendly. Music great and DJ's, however the sound quality was very bad!!!. Spoilt the experience. Toilets very stinky even at start of the night. Not a lot of light,but didn't expect it to be perfect. Saying all that though we will go again. Hope they sort the sound quality.
M. O.It's just a big empty space and in the winter its cold. Aqustics were good, there were sufficient bars but selling 330ml cans at £5-6 was a bit much. Toilets we're not great. Loads of search dog's on the way in.

A. C.Nice place. Been there with my friends to the "curated by four tet" and it was an extraordinary experience, the lights, the music, everything. Everyone had a free access to the potable water
The only negative thing was that we couldn't get in with our backpacks without problems, no one wanted to let us in, we had to beg for a locker.

j.Been there 3 times now, fantastic venue. The busiest of the 3 nights though (Annie Mac) there was some serious choke points near the toilets and the entrance to the depot. I prefer the setup from last year, where the entrance was from the back of the room.

A little bit disappointed about the sound system in some location of the hall. More lights could also improve the experience.
D. W.All venue staff were friendly, chatty and helpful. The venue curates excellent lineups, the main room can get busy, expect a festival like squeeze, people complain about this but what do you expect? A little overpriced but the music made it all okay. Would highly recommend.

Huge queues for the bars 30mins plus, similar for the toilets. But I would forgive that if the sound was worthy of both the space and the great acts playing. I have more tickets booked in December and no longer want to go it was that disappointing.

There were no queues, loads of bars and toilets and the music was on point. Will definitely be back

P.Music and venue were good, but bouncers were rude and deceiving, told me I wasn't allowed a bag in because it had to be A4 size (all that was in it was a notebook and calculator) I was then told to go through to the "bag check area" which was in actual fact just an exit. No problem with the policy, it was just the way they handled the situation that was disappointing.

C. H.Really big spacious venue with lots of areas to sit down. Toilets are porta loos which got busy around 11-12 with long queues but were absolutely fine at every other time. Water comes in a can which is kind of weird, but lots of refill points around near toilets.

4. 5.An unusual venue that definitely offers something a bit different. Went to watch above and beyond at the weekend and that was outstanding. If not a little too busy as there was little space to move so be careful if you hate tight spaces. But been before to see less well known acts and it was fine. Drink prices are good. Admission is by 10:30 so you need to be early.
u.Can only be described as a music venue rather than a club. Just a bare building, nothing permanent. Still on portaloos. Seen Underworld there & had a great time. All staff were brilliant, sound not too bad for where it is & great crowd. Only negative thing to mention is whoever was doing the smoke machine needs slapping, no one needs that much fog anywhere!

L. S.Without a doubt the best night out I've had. Staff are the kindest in Manchester. My friend threw up and instead of throwing him out they took him to a recovery bay and gave him water.
The music is insanely good(obviously depending on whose playing). The venue itself is great-looking with a unique aesthetic i won't spoil.
Only issue i have is the price, big cash to get a ticket and then the drinks inside. I ended up spending upwards of £80 when i went but it was worth it.
S. K.A great venue, there isn't really anything else quite like it. There are some superb acts and the venue is impressive. It does rely quite heavily on portaloos and it is very expensive for a drink, especially considering how busy and hot it gets. Regardless, it's worth experiencing.

C.Great place. Lots of space, lots of toilets. Just the bar is a disaster. So much staff, all they serve is cans, and yet it takes ages to get served. Least efficient bar I've ever seen. Also £5 for a can of cider?! The bar is the main reason why I wouldn't come back.

F. G.The venue has an gorgeous atmospheric feel with three large dancefloors and a great sound system. Security were friendly but strict - expect sniffer dogs, police and an intimate search.
Unfortunately the venue only has a small number of portaloos, which don't appear to get cleaned throughout the evening. Your can imagine the state of 20 portaloos serving thousands of people. The venue was also incredibly busy. Great night but this is for the committed
W. R.I used to attend the old WHP venue was gigs so was interested to try this new one.
I went to an Anjuna night to see Above and Beyond. Things outside were pretty disorganised and we stood in the cold waiting to get in for quite some time.
Finally we got in. The venue is much bigger than the old one. I can confirm that the rumours are true - the ceiling does leak. This is a proper warehouse space under the railway and it certainly isn't a glamorous venue. Toilets are porter loos. The venue is also freezing so you won't need the cloakroom - I raved in my winter coat all night!!!
Plenty of bars and service at the bar was quick.

R.Killer line-up on the night I went (3 rooms of DnB), the place is well layed out (and massive) but in my opinion all three rooms were a bit too quiet - and this is coming from someone who works in the sound and lighting industry. Even when I stood in the 'sweet spot' of each room I still felt the overall volume (and especially the sub-bass) was lacking. Either a chronic shortage of subs, or (more likely) crippling noise restrictions placed on the venue.
G. C.We went for NYE 2019. Have been to several WHP's since it started in 2006. Some top acts featured and didn't disappoint musicwise. Good soundsystem. Some great acts: Annie Mac was on point as she's has been for well over a decade. Loved Groove Armada & Rudimental who didn't disappoint. We also loved the small room with Tsha ...top DJ. Between these acts there were moments where the music became quite generic and repetitive .. Security was high which was good, felt safe, however it was almost too large a venue and could have made better use of the space. Men and girls in our party felt it cold. Expensive drinks, ages for entry and porta loos, miles for smoking area etc🌃
V. 8.Great open space venue! Enjoyed watching Fatima Yamaha! 🎧 🎶
N. A. M.A real step up and the perfect move for WHP. All of the complaints have been addressed RE space, programming, bars etc. Even had street food on offer, not sure who is eating there but good luck to them. All in all what a rave was, and always should be. It's not about VIP, comfy chairs & sipping champagne. Its about dancing the night away in a massive space and having a great time. only gripe drinks could be cheaper, but hey ho its a business & you have to make hay while the sun shines
M. P.New venue is sick! Plenty of room for everyone. Had three rooms: archive (which looks like the old whp room), concord ( setup similar to amnesia) and the depot (similar to soho). Loud music, high sound quality and immersive visual, ingredients for an amazing night out

C. J.Has some significant benefits over Store street, (like more SPACE, easy to get a drink, no queue for the smoking area) but it's lost a lot of charm too. You won't get lost and spend 2 hours trying to find your mates in all the different rooms but you also wont have the same adventure as on store street.

M. P.The new Mayfield Depot location is epic. 10,000 capacity is mind blowing. Despite warehouse acoustics, the sound system is orders of magnitude better than previous locations. Its still messy and dirty but it doesn't matter when the line ups are so good.
It feels safe, lots of security about but not overbearing. And there seems to be medical assistance on hand ready for the odd inevitable club casualty.
D. F.Buzzing atmosphere, interesting design and interior makes for a good night out. Parking right next to the venue. The toilets are pretty poor and owercrowded and drinks and very expensive £2.50+ for a bottle of water, making it an expensive night out.
R. M.One of the best venues for electronic music! A car park turned into a rabbit warren for ravers. The perfect setting to lose your mind to your favourite DJ. Great sound system, enough room on the dance floor and nice little hidey holes for chilling out in when you need a break. I love the Warehouse Project, well curated nights of world class DJs. Can't wait to find out where their new home might be!

T. D.This is a tricky one, it is a good venue when you're there and I did enjoy myself. However, some people may see a club in a carpark under a bridge a little odd. Water does also drip on you from the ceiling, the bars are extortionate prices and the toilets are porta loos.
But hey, I loved it!

What a great venue! Weird (but good) vibes in a network of underground archways that appears to be a converted carpark. The place is huge with plenty of bar-space, dancefloor space and toilets. Not too sweaty thanks to the structure so you can breathe even in the most stampeded arenas (i.e. Sasha & Digweed) large smoking area for those who choose to and some merchandise stalls along with a charming young lady selling glitter which she flies to your face (again for those who choose to).
Good staff and security.
Note* they prefer you not take bags or backpacks as it slows down entry for the search. And don't plan to use or smuggle drugs, or missbehave/ be unruly in the queue, they seem to be zero tolerance for idiots in favour of actual music fans who can control themselves.

D. S.Attended Craig David's show here. The place was as the name suggests an old warehouse transformed into a club. The smell and humidity of the warehouse was still there, some might see it as authentic and cool, but to me it seemed filthy at times. Ofc it's a place where young people come for drinks and loud music and dancing so the tidiness is the last thing on everyone's mind. We had to wait until around 1AM gor Craig David's show, which wasn't made clear in the shows programme with other bands starting from 8:30, we could have gone there much later.
At least Craid David was amazing so overall it was worth it!
