We had a great time here watching Ben Ottowell lastnight! This is a cool music venue set in an old Victorian building, the bar has some great craft beers & lagers. We also eat here too and the food was great. We're going to return and check the roof terrace out in Summer.

The bar itself was fairly average. It had a pretty limited selection of beers on tap. Mainly run of the mill faux-craft beer, if you're not a macro lager drinker. The in-house pizza place looked good, and seemed very popular. The live music space upstairs was great, very intimate space, there was a bar setup in the room, which was convenient. The stage height provided a good view of the band from anywhere in the room and the sound quality seemed decent. I'd definitely go back for another concert. Probably wouldn't go back for drinks/food, the bar was fine, but not something I'd go out of my way for.

I love this venue… each floor / space has a different vibe. For me the rooftop is the best, such a lovely space to chill with friends and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. The drinks are very affordable and they have some fantastic live music events.

Visited with the family and was happily surprised. The food is fast, tasty and very well cooked and presented, there is a bar which serves all manner of drinks. The decor is cool and casual. Best of all is that the staff are really friendly and helpful. A good place to visit if you're in Manchester and fancy some food and drinks. I visited just as they were opening so it wasn't very busy, I can only image the good atmosphere when it gets full of people and energy. It's a Live music venue too so well worth checking who's playing on their upcoming list 🙂

Really cool all vegan Berlin style döner kebabs! What's not to love? The atmosphere was great, the beer selection was a bit limited but they had some nice ones on tap. The food was excellent, well priced and very tasty with a tonne of vegan options. They also did pizza which was mostly non-vegan. My friend had some slices which were generously large and he said they were very nice. Would totally come here again, great bar! Also they do loads of very cool live music epoch I'm keen to check out.

A fantastic venue in a great location. Great for night life and well-priced cocktails but also brilliant for its live music. I went to a gig the other week on the opposite end of Manchester and I was boiling inside the room, in YES they actually had their A/C on (not to mention the fact it was huge) and I was very thankful for that — and their free very cold tap water that saved me. Also worth mentioning that the security guard was a standout — he even made an effort to tell me to have a good night despite the fact I left via a different exit than the one he was on. All in all, I’ve had great experiences here every time I’ve been—next I need to try their Doner Summer, which I’ve been told is incredible (and all vegan!).

Great music venue. It's not obvious how to get to the Pink room for a gig, at least it wasn't to me, so we just wandered to the back of the bar area and found some stairs that took us up to the pink room. Friendly staff and well air conditioned.

Sound levels were off for the support act but brilliant by the time the main artist came on. A great intimate venue with delicious gluten free beers! Staff weren't sure on what was on the drinks menu though and were stood around talking a lot.

Never have I ever had a greater slice of a Margherita pizza in my life than this bar. Texture 11/10 Flavours 11/10 very fresh, fragrant with the bazil with a slight saltiness and balanced with a Creamy mozzarella. The vibe in the rooftop was awesome and on a nice night there's no other places that can match it.

Never been for music specifically I have visited for donner summer. Love the food here SO TASTY 😋 fast service and staff polite. It’s so fullll of flavour and colour and well presented. Obviously plant based too! Definitely worth a try and good one to take someone that isn’t plant based to! Nice and chilled in the day but good vibing bar in the evening. Would definitely return. Only thing I’d like to see is a coffee machine as they only have instant - but for the same price.

Yes is my favourite all round music venue / bar in Manchester. Good food, nice relaxed vibe, nice staff, great decor, easily accessible. And always a fantastic selection of bands / artists playing in the 2 rooms, many up and comers and also established acts. Not loads of parking around there so if you're coming by car get there early or be prepared to walk a bit.

Good place to pop out for lunch. Staff were really accommodating and the food was good. Only reasons I wouldn't give five stars is that the pizza is good, but not amazing and that if you order by the slice then they reach get served individually on a paper bag with a paper plate inside of it.

Multiple floors with different music acts/djs playing. Came here to see Whispering Sons in the basement. A fab chilled vibe with people of all ages enjoying the gig. Although as with a lot of places in Manchester, it is very studenty. Good selection of drinks. A great music venue.

Been to countless gigs here - it's *the* place to see the best new music, not just in Manchester but the world. Pints are pretty cheap and they have some deals on cocktails and food if you visit afternoon/early evening. The food isn't the best in my opinion and I've usually had to wait a while for it, but the music programming is next level. I prefer watching gigs in the Basement, as sold out gigs in the Pink Room can sometimes feel uncomfortably busy, but it is a unique space and a good soundsystem.

Really nice venue, not a massive selection of beer on tap at the venue, but was all quality stuff. I paid about £9.50 for two pints of ale. The stage was not too big and Everything seemed appropriately sized. One thing I REALLY liked was the fact that there was air conditioning at the venue, although I was in a crowded room I had a jacket on directly under the air conditioner. It's a bit out of the way as you need to go to through pepperoni playboy to get to the stairs that take you upstairs.

NOT a good experience to be honest. We went for the Debtford Northern Soul night. Well, NOT AS WE KNOW IT (Northern soul) that is. All of us who know the scene know that "Night Clubs & Northern soul don't always work. This was one of them. It was basically a night club (ice vape Inc) & flashing lights! Firstly, it's on the TOP FLOOR of the YES building, Known as the PINK ROOM. That's 4th floor. So get fit b4 you dare to enter. Secondly, NO cash POLICY at the bar! No! its not a FREE bar........you need a "Contactless" debit/cash card

Saw fantastic Newcastle (now USA) band there name of 'Du Blonde' was fantastic, a must for slightly punk, country&western folksy female vocalist!

Great bar great gigs, the bar staff were great. We inexplicably did however get asked to leave by the bouncer; apparently we’d been given warnings about talking to the DJ. One of our party had bought the DJ a drink and the bar staff actually said it was fine for them to take it to them. The bar staff and DJ were seemingly similarly bemused about our group being asked to leave. Great pizza, lovely bar staff and nice drinks however and won’t prevent me from returning.

Excellent venue, bar and most of the venue staff are lovely, but door staff were INCREDIBLY rude this past weekend and kinda put a dampener on the night. I get that drunks are annoying, but I got yelled at several times by the door staff when I was completely sober (I don't drink). We were just moving between the club and smoking area quietly and calmly but apparently doing it wrong?

Really like this place, always popular. Decent food, decent selection of beers. Experienced around 12 gigs, fantastic sound systems, but at times, deaf sound engineers (TURN THE BASS DOWN!) have marred the gigs. (Perhaps some in house training on the sowing system and house standards would be a good investment? ) Overall, an excellent venue.

This is such a great place. There are two gig venues with great sound, you can get pizza, there are several bars and a roof terrace! You can spend a whole evening here including dinner! Plus it's dog friendly. The drinks are reasonably priced and there are multiple vegan food options. A great place to come for a show, a quiet drink or a whole night out

Good venue for music and their pizza deal (half price on big slices noon - 6pm, every day) is second to none. Nice layout as well, very chilled vibe. Too bad about some of the service. One young woman's face consistently fell like a ton of bricks whenever she had to deal with customers at the pizza counter (frizzy hair, large earrings). Two days later, they stuck the forks and hot sauce behind the counter so customers had to lean over to get them (if they saw them at all). A little more thought and care could go a long way.

Really good bar close to Oxford road. The beer is good and the pizza is great, good large slices of fresh baked pizza for not too much. Airy smoking area on the top floor and loads of seating on the top and ground floor. Drinks are a little expensive for this part of Manchester and the staff are a little slow at collecting glasses especially in the outdoor area. It has always been busy upstairs even when downstairs has been fairly quiet. Has the best and largest beer garden of any of the pubs near by and the staff are really good and friendly.

One of my favourite places to go in Manchester. Super cheap and delicious pizza through the day. Then I'll have a beer and boogie throughout the night. Staff are always friendly, doorstaff too! Can't recommend this place enough. I've probably been twice a month at least since it opened and I'll keep going.

I love going to YES when under one roof is on- the club night for adults with learning disability.i feel very priviliged to have this club night in my town, I think it is perfect at YES,the basement room it uses has a lot of similar trates with sankeys which i was very lucky to have been able to go to in the early days with my carers (most people with LD are still only offered rubbish discos where the drinks are sugar free, caffine free and non alcohlic, and the music is chart pop). Great place. Music venue on 2nd floor. Eaterty/bar on entry level and roof terrace on the top floor. The rumour mill is even filled with stories of a basement for later nights, though I will stress this is just hearsay on my part. Watched Isaac Gracie here and she was bloody marvelous. She also did a support slot under a different name, Billie Marten which was quite "quirky". I got charged £9 for 3 sodas and the man apologised and gave me £8.10 in change. It should have been 90p.

Only spent any time in the upstairs 'pink room' where they put on gigs, but the sound there is excellent and almost disturbingly loud. The downstairs bar area that you have to traverse to get upstairs seems to be a bit odd, every time I've gone through the has been a DJ earnestly twiddling knobs whilst a classic Motown track was playing that was obviously in no way being effected by whatever they wanted to look like they were doing. There seems to be a wannabe 50s dinner chic going on that seems to be popular enough but is really unnecessary.
