J. D.Myself and my wife and kids where there and we had a really good time the staff where terrific the entertainment was even better
D. D.I came about a week ago and I bloody well loved it! I came up from Lancashire for a stag do and I was mind blown! Filled my pants at least 20 times so definitely will be coming back next week for some more 'entertainment'. The girls we flipping lovely, wish I could spend all my time with them. Prices were a little high but it was worth it!
N. N.Entry £10, Dances are £20, or £25 if you pay on card. (Not doubt to keep it off the books and avoid tax) Drinks are fairly expensive as you'd expect.
The dances themselves are all away from the tables and around 3 minutes long. They will get all of their kit off in that time. The women and the quality of the dancing varies greatly! You might have a chubby woman in her late 30's dancing in front of you instead of on you're lap, and then kneeling on your thighs while you try not to wince in pain. Ask the bar staff for recommendations. Kim was very good, I was shaking after her, wow! Also there is no touching unless you pay £125+ for a VIP dance.
The stage shows weren't thing special. No proper pole dancing, just the sexy walk around the pole that they do. There is no hanging upside down here.

J. R.I've visited this place several times, but until Saturday night I'd been absent for maybe three years or so. This latest trip was the unplanned end to a stag night in town. Whilst I'd never normally suggest hitting a strip joint, it was actually pretty good. It was on the quiet side surprisingly all the way, and we stayed (about ten of us) from 23.30-03.00. Not a cheap pint but standard enough for city central prices, and not a bad beer at that. As always you can spunk millions of dollars in the place if you get carried away, however a steady few hours spent there was top craic and the girls were mostly up for legit banter, and the usual service one might expect. Don't go there short of cash. One member of our party blasted £500 in an hour quite painlessly.
P. T.I went there for the first time ever yesterday (16th June), loved it.
It's not as spread out as FYEO on Grainger Street, which used to be a nightclub called The Den, it took a bit of getting used to the compact-and-bijou-feel of the stage area, after about half an hour I definitely warmed to it.
The only thing is, if you're tall like me, it might be an idea to duck when in certain parts of the slightly more private area to the left of the dancing booths... on one occasion I forgot to duck when I was in there and banged my head, hmm... slightly embarrassing. But I'll survive haha.
The girls are great, especially Dannii and Lisa. They definitely made an impression. I fondly remember Lisa from the Grainger Street venue, she could keep me entertained for ages... if only I had enough spare money haha.
Will I coming back to the Blue Velvet in the future? Most definitely, consider it already done.
Since I don't seem able to post up a separate entry as a review, so I'll add this: I saw my favourite girl Lisa again yesterday (14th July) and set up a VIP session with her for an entire half an hour. God she was great... so sexy 😍 Oh yes, she can breathe into my ear/nibble on it anytime she likes 😍😍😍 I had her all to myself like the cat that got the cream. Champion 👍😎 It was like a regular dance but 10 times as long.
I'd swear... half an hour just passed in no time. WHOOSH! I was having fun you see... engaging in general chit chat/light hearted banter etc while watching her dancing. I'll be doing this VIP thing again at some future time too. Bank on it.

Service was fantastic and door staff absolutely spot on too!
