Ian recently DJ'd at our tipi wedding in Northumbria this September, and I couldn't have been happier with the night! In the lead up to the day, including postponing our wedding due to covid, Ian was such a joy to work with. Letting us know what he needed by when and covering all bases, when in a DIY wedding makes life so much easier! We didn't even notice him setting up on the night, he was such a pro! He did an absolutely amazing job in mixing me and my husband's opposing views on music, and everyone was dancing all night. Thank you so much Ian! and for the photos! Alice and Dan xxx

We got married at Doxford Barns last week and we could not be happier that we had Ian as our DJ! Ian provided us with a lot of support on the lead up to our wedding, suggesting different types of songs/genres for different parts of our day. Ian then discussed with us what our first dance song was and what we would like for our final two songs. We provided Ian with a list of different artists as we also wanted guests to request songs. Ian played a variety of older and more recent songs to ensure all guests were up and dancing. Our dance floor was full from the beginning of the night until the very end (1pm). Not only was Ian a fantastic DJ but he also took a lot of photos!! This was a great surprise for our guests as by then our photographer had left. Ian posted his photos and videos which enabled our guests to reminisce over such a brilliant night. Since our wedding many of our guests have commented on what a great ‘party’ our wedding evening was so we would like to thank Ian for this! We would highly recommend Ian to anyone who would like to celebrate properly with a full dance floor of happy guests! Thank you Ian!!

We are so grateful to Ian for DJ-ing at our Doxford Barns wedding in November 2022. From the initial booking, he was such an easy, friendly supplier to communicate with. Ian created a personalised mix for our first dance song, with the first song slower & the second song more upbeat to get everyone on the dance-floor, a recommendation from Ian which resulted in a packed dance-floor following our first dance! We trusted Ian enough not to give him a full playlist and that paid off. Throughout the night we had a mix of songs that kept our friends, our parents, relatives & their friends all happy and dancing! There was something for everyone. It’s a great addition that Ian captures the dance-floor moments on camera, after the professional photographer leaves. Ian is clearly very skilled at reading the dance-floor, loves his job, and I would strongly recommend him to anyone planning a wedding. I wish we could do it all again!!! We booked Ian for our wedding in 2019 and I can honestly say we couldn't have gotten any better. His passion and detail on the run up to the wedding was fab and really helped us figure out what music we wanted throughout the day. Ian edited all the music for our day, from guests arriving until the evening when he took over with full DJ services. His equipment was second to none and the lighting and smoke system really adds to the atmosphere of the night. He was amazing with the kids and allowed them to get involved on the decks. Everyone commented how great him and the music were and we had the best time. I would 100% recommend him for whatever your event is.

I thoroughly recommend Ian for children's parties, having him DJ at our residents parties for a good few years, I would want no one else! The kids love him and he is so entertaining. When we wanted a DJ for my sister in law to be's hen weekend I immediately asked Ian to see if he was available. I was curious to see how he managed entertaining adults as so used to seeing him with the kids! Ian did not disappoint! His approach is perfect and I knew I could trust him to come and do his thing! So out in the middle of nowhere to an old county house with 17 hens and a bride to be Ian rocked up early to check the place out and set up. He brought all his kit along with Kareoke, hilarious games and the best play list EVER! We were dancing all night long! What I love about Ian is he is so approachable so everyone feels comfortable putting in their requests. We knew Ian had his camera and just thought he was taking a few shots. Alongside keeping us entertained he has snapped and taken some videos of us all together having the best time. Captured some memories we can keep forever, some natural snaps/vids of our beautiful voices and amazing dance moves (haha). Anyway I could go on and on. I am super impressed as always. Ian is a lovely bloke who can just 'do his thing' entertain any audiance and so adaptable. He is reliable and consciousness and is passionate about making the very most of the event to create the best time for those present. From 18 slightly intoxicated hens - at the end of the night - you were brave haha and made our night. The feedback from everyone has been so positive! Super impressed. Big thank you!

Ian was our Wedding DJ and was amazing from even before we booked him. We can't recommend him enough! His professionalism in his approach to providing a personalised quote really meant he stood out from the rest. The quote itself was also very reasonable. He was very responsive when we had anything to query in the run-up and we met about a month beforehand where he put our minds at ease knowing the music was in safe hands! At this point we went through what music we wanted at each stage of the day and he demonstrated his knowledge with his very good suggestions and opinions. Ian not only DJ'd the night but he provided all the music for the rest of the day on an iPad for the venue to just press play! In terms of the night, he kept the dancefloor busy by judging people's reactions to different song types. He did a tremendous job of keeping the evening flowing and everyone commented on what a great night it was! Thank you so much!
