I had to come in after walking past and seeing it was really busy compared to other bars. Really good atmosphere. I would say the toilets need modernising and the cleaners need to be replaced. But everything is great. The women are fun. Will definitely return. Management fabulous

Coming into Popworld is great on Sunday and Wednesday, the staff are briliant and they know what we drink. And the best thing about Popworld is DJ Trig he has a good laugh with all the customers not just his friends, he makes everyone welcome and likes a nice cup of Tea and some fruit bars too. I also have silly funny dance offs with Trig like Star Jumps.

Probably one of my favourite bars in Newcastle and the place I undoubtedly visit on every night out. Wouldn't be the same without the staff though - DJ's Trig and Dave keep the party atmosphere going all through the night.

Lo! A recent visit to Popworld hath opened mine eyes; there truly is a ‘world’ of excitement within, and thy music is undoubtedly ‘popping’! I spent the majority of mine night discussing the subtleties of snooker and billiards with one ‘Louis Dolby’. Indeed, this fine fellow even allowed me to dine on the crumbs lodged deep within his magnificent beard! A truly fine gentleman in a delightful establishment; I shall no doubt be returning with a score of men before the next full moon!

Love PopWorld it’s our go-to place for a night out staff are amazing. Drinks are a good price. Bouncers are great and friendly always happy to have a chat not like some who just want to make power moves, always served quick and staff genuinely seem happy and remember you when you come back. We went yesterday on Friday the 10th and the DJ was amazing so funny had us laughing the whole night and the music was fab perfect mix of music from the 80s-2000s, which we loved, so if that’s your kind of music you can’t go wrong. We also won two tickets for the PopWorld music festival as part of a free entry raffle they were doing which completely made our night. Definitely recommend PopWorld will always be our go-to place for a great night. Never change you’ve got it just right :)

One of the best places for a night out in Newcastle, drinks are cheap and music is fab. What can I say, cheap and cheerful, the bouncers seem fair as I've not had any issues with them like in say Mushroom. I've not seen any trouble like in the old liquid club. The bar can be quite busy at times and you'll be pushing through the crowds to get another drink, it's down to earth and the clientele seem fine. Five stars from me. By the way don't plan on the fire door to the right corner opposite where you go on, otherwise you'll fall through it, which is what happened to an idiot, er friend of mine.

Bit of Craic on a stag for an hour or two. If you like shots ul b steaming as they just keep bringing them round and you pay the waitresses. Some people will like this however I found it a downfall. But worth a visit if ur in town for a day or two.
