I absolutely loved Soho whilst at uni, I even told my friends it where I want my wake to be held. I only graduated last year, but unfortunately, I went last night and I paid £9.50 for the privilege of a double vodka coke. Because I am not a student, I was not eligible to buy the two trebs and a Jaga deal for £7.50. Utter disgrace, how on Earth do you hope to retain customers? Or do you just want your clientele to be students only? Make sure you take your ID cards from when you was at Newcastle Uni EDIT: Keeping my original review however I am appreciative of the kind gesture and clarification that I can still use my old student card. Don’t worry about the free round, although I really appreciate that. I have always loved Soho and will definitely be back again soon xx

Brilliant club! The atmosphere was great and the drinks were nice! A huge plus was that the music was loud, but I could still hear my friends (something that's rare in most!) One star lower as drinks often get spilled through knocks whilst heading back towards your group as it's so busy. Apart from that, my first time visiting was a great experience!

We went to Soho rooms for part of our night out for a hen party. The place is quite small, however it was a brilliant atmosphere, good priced drinks, polite bar staff. Downfall was the toilet facilities only being 2 so always people queuing up to use them and run out of toilet paper. Disliked climbing on all the stairs but if had to rate out of 5 would give 4/5. Would go back again :)

Expensive drinks and it's far too crowded to have a good night out. Mostly groups of university students, the toilets are amazingly clean, but the staircase is tight and annoying to go down. The staff are fast at serving and the music in the smoking area is a welcome relief.

Great music however bouncers have a reputation for being rude, unhelpful and silly. A situation happend where we all had ID however one of us wasn't aloud in as it was "student night" and they did not have their student ID however neither did we or the people entering.

Lovely friendly staff, good choice of drinks & the special offers mean its well priced... the down side was the smell 😕 I’m not sure if it is a permanent thing or if there was a problem with the sewage system but the second we walked in, an overwhelming smell of urine hit us. Hopefully the cause of the smell will be sorted soon

Soho Rooms are quite well has got good music but I feel space is bit less rather than compared with other clubs nearby. Best part is Soho has another floor also on the 2nd floor which is also nice. It gives you free entry with your ID proof.

I like the size of the place, with 3 floors and different types of music. The look of it could be massively improved and it is also always crowded with stupid kids. The drinks are not good quality and they are expensive.
