Reviews of The Stand Comedy Club Newcastle
S. B.
Just had to leave a review after a perfect visit on Saturday. My partner and I returned to Newcastle after 5 years away, to celebrate our fifth year as a couple. We had our first date (and the majority of dates thereafter until we relocated) at The Stand, so it felt special to return. My partner had been in cahoots with the venue and their brilliant compere Matt Reed, who had prepared for and subsequently staged a conversation between us and him that segwayed to my partner getting on stage and proposing to me! The love and support from the audience, staff and performers for our incredible moment will be cherished in our hearts forever. Newcastle wins (again!) and The Stand will be precious to us for a lifetime. Thank you all. X

Brilliant night out. We went to the Wednesday night gig, which was like an open mic where you see loads of new acts. Audience was friendly and kind to the acts. Bar was ok 10 pound for 2 drinks isn't bad. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back and would rather do a Wednesday as if you see 7 acts chances are you will like 5 of them.
UPDATE they did street food from Medhead before the acts tonight. Brilliant friendly venue.
L. W.
Visited for a Fern Brady gig (she was brilliant) & I was really impressed with my first visit to The Stand.
Seats are not allocated when you buy tickets & are first come on the night. As I am disabled I need to know that I can get a seat on the night, I contacted the Box office & they reserved a table for me. On the night the guided me down using a lift & the seats were near the disabled loos. Great service. Drinks were reasonably priced. The whole evening was a great success.

Came here on a staff night out - never been to a live comedy gig before! It was great with everyone being super friendly from start to finish of the show. Such a safe and welcoming space for established and new acts alike, great drinks selection and helpful staff.
I. w.
First time we've been to this venue. We weren't disappointed. Very nice staff and very well organized. We will be certainly going again. Thanks to anth and his two supporting acts for a great night.
A. T.
Great night watching Gary Delaney. Star off due to running out of glasses upstairs and only having 1 person on the bar up there, too. Most of the time downstairs is far too busy to get served
K. G.
Great evening watching Simon Brodkin last week. Good venue, felt quite intimate, excellent atmosphere- spoiled a little by 5 drunk women who the staff did not deal with very well resulting in a fight and stop to the show. Apart from that a great evening.
I. J.
Fantastic night, wasn't expecting tom wigglesworth to turn up. Beer not extortionate either. Well worth the ticket price.
M. S.
First experience and it didn't disappoint. Lots of beers and great company all.you need to enjoy this show.
J. J. (.
Great venue, lovely staff. Excellent facilities for accessibility. Bat is very good range and competitive prices for city centre venue
B. S.
Pretty crowded and hard to move around. Used to serve food but not doing at the moment. Enjoyed the comedy show
L. R.
Several very fun nights spent at The Stand Comedy Club - would definitely recommend for a date night.
J. K.
Love going here! Mainly go for Red Raw on a Wednesday due to the variety of acts and new material.
C. D.
Great venue, had a cracking night here being entertained by Tom Stade then hanging with him after. Some nice beer on tap here which went down well too. Will definitely return. 👍
L. G.
Brilliant night my partners first time at a comedy club and loved it will definitely be back! Guy introducing the acts was hilarious!!
L. U.
Lovely intimate venue.
From small time, amateur comics to nationally famous favourites, The Stand hosts them all.
Bar is reasonably priced for the City center.
Only gripe is that they do have a tendancy to squeeze slightly too many people into the basement. It would be excellent if there was maybe 15 less bodies down there as it is a little cramped.
Other than that, it is very much the place on the map for the stand up scene in the North East.
D. H.
Great venue with seating close to the stage. Drinks a little expensive but will go again.
A. M.
We saw Chris Mccausland both him and his warm up act had us in stitches 👍🤣
D. W.
Great comedy. Great venue. Definitely recommend if you can get tickets to a comedy night.
J. S.
Great venue for comedy. Intimate, cellar room with a great view of the stage from most places. Bar prices are fair and service quick. Stool seating at the back was a bit tightly packed but the tables at the front were better spaced
C. L.
Such a fun night for an extremely reasonable ticket price! The comedians were hilarious and the staff were so welcoming. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to spend their evening doing something a bit different!
S. C.
Really impressed with everything about this venue. It's a shame I live 3 hours away, as I would definitely come back here.
T. C.
This was our first visit to this establishment and we enjoyed every moment. The show was in a downstairs industrial style function room with stage and bar. ALL staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and helped make this a most enjoyable visit. Covid -19 precautions we're in place with staff ensuring patrons adhered to the rules. Although this was our first visit to the venue it won't be the last and can certainly recommend it to others at for a visit. 🙂👍
M. A.
Great venue for comedy. Good range of comedians on the night we attended - though the order was a little odd... the final act didn't go down as well as some of the previous ones. Good food and drink options too.
J.
I've been a few times and always a great night out.
L. F.
Always a good, well-organised night and staff were really friendly and helpful.
C. R.
Spacious, bar is great, staff good too. Comedy factor depends on who you're going to see. They could do with a little revamp as it feels like you're in a place frozen in the 80's. Still clean and tidy though.
J. C.
Great for comedy, food experience has not been good in the past
J. B.
Second time I've been here and it just gets better. Great support act and fantastic head line
A. S.
Brilliant! Intimate location watching the hilarious Chole Petts.cant wait to return!
J. C.
Can't recommend this club enough. Best staff and the best acts. I love it! Great seating and lighting. Always a warm welcome and the food is excellent . 5 Stars all round 👍 See you again soon .
L. F.
Absolutely brilliant place. Can't wait to go back again 😅
I. T.
What an awesome experience! We enjoyed the stints and witnessed a wedding proposal for the first time! Was so good to end the show with a lovely surprise! Congratulations!
R. B.
Decent comedy venue. Some seats have limited view due to pillars. Not doing food at the moment (this isn't clear from the website). Good bar offer.
L. C.
Fantastic! Had such a laugh! Weirdest thing ever happened to me was when a girl tied me up to the bed, naked, shoving ants up my arse... That was... Until she brought the ardvark in! Good burger too :-)
S. M.
Comedian was great, unfortunately seats were very uncomfortable.
D. B.
Seen so called professionals but never in my life have laughed so hard. Compare was nuts, like being in the pub with your funniest mate. Call centre guy was true to life. Scribblers lift Nd batman's mum has me in stitches still. Wall stroker, actually broke me. I cried. Finished by jealous girlfriend who appraitmised me to the point I thought she was a female version. Unsure if this is normal but best night of my life. And I am a mardy bustard.
L. W.
Great little venue for intimate gigs.
Decent bar too, not the usual poor quality beers of many venues.
C. C.
It was a revelation to visit the home of stand up comedy in the North East. The comedy, drinking and food is all exceptional. An essential pilgrimage for those visiting Newcastle.
A. W.
Can be a great night out depending on the comedian. Dont drink the house lager it is vile. Drinks cost same as most places in town
D. C.
O.M.G......what a brilliant night Fri 29th October 2021....Great venue x great comedians x never laughed soooo much xx full house too x GREAT STAFF and OWNER ........Nothing too much trouble xx a MUST VISIT ...when in NEWCASTLE X
P. B.
I've been here 3 times in the past 2 months because all the acts are funny and its always a good night. The Newcastle branch is brilliant, I used to go to the Edinburgh one when lived up there which was also good, but I was younger and would often get chucked out for talking to my friend. Never been to the Glasgow one but I've been told it's good too. Great for a few chuckles and some beers. 3 Thumbs up
B. M.
Great night of entertainment! The benches could be comfier but a great night still. The host was funny! 👍👍👍
P. M.
First time at this venue, staff really friendly. Not sure if it was the fact that there seemed to be a lot of table reserved, or big parties booked it was on that night very cramped there are small round tables just enough for your drinks not much room if you are having a meal. The food was really nice. Be aware you will be asked to leave if you don't abide by their rules. If you are claustrophobic this may be an issue for you. If you have a disability for getting downstairs as the gig is in the basement didn't see any lifts.
S. H.
Great venue, great size room to see an act. Bar staff brilliant too
J. O.
Had a lovely evening last night, the staff were incredibly attentive arranging our reserved seats with a little surprise added in for us 😉. Very much appreciated and well received. The meal upstairs was delicious and filling. The compare was hilarious and my favourite the Australian comedian and last act. Always a good night here, we’ve been members for a while. Why wouldn’t you want to spend a night giggling?! Our first date was spent there and so holds a particular special place for us. Thanks again for a cracking night 😄
C. A.
Really good value attraction in the city centre. Great and positive atmosphere which looks harshly on heckling and abusing the acts, which makes for a fun and welcoming environment. The bar isn't bad price either with a couple of guest ales on constantly. I haven't tried the food yet but it looked like decent quality bar food. Highly recommended experience for those wanting a taste of the famous northern warm hospitality.
N. G.
Very funny night, very nice staff
A. C. F. I.
Good comedy, nice atmosphere. Enjoyed it
s. t.
Excellent night great comedy. Drinks are pretty expensive and queues are a bit long. But all in all great venue.
A. “. G.
Love this place. If you're coming for comedy, remember to get in early as it can get busy! And try the chili 😉
S. M.
Two out of three acts were funny at times not sure if worth £20 i would go back but on the Wednesday when its £5
S. M.
Absolutely amazing staff and Absolutely amazing comedians a real treat 10/10 will be going again
P. K.
Came here on a Saturday night trying to find alternative things to do in the evening, and we weren't disappointed. As you would Hope at a comedy club we had a laugh all the way through with a great variety of comedians including the compere who was just bloody hilarious! Had some great to and fro with the audience and everyone in the crowd were very respectful of the no heckling policy which led to a great night of harmless joking. The whole event ran through from 20:30 till 22:45 but last act did run it up till 23:00 with a lot of grovelling to the manager.
The acts are great but so was the staff, very chatty and helpful, we sat at the top bar until the comedy club opened at 7pm to have a couple of drinks and plus we has heard it had limited seating but everyone there managed to get a seat and majority of seats have a nice circular table with candle on it and plenty of space. The food selections are great too and being vegetarian we also felt we had a great selection. Also have non-alcoholic lager too so was perfect for us.
We loved it so much we have booked for the New Year show to celebrate the coming of 2019!
Highly recommend.
S. C.
Great venue to see live comedy at a reasonable price. My tip would be to arrive for the doors opening at 7pm to guarantee good seats. There is food available such as burgers, nachos and chips which is inexpensive. Ticket prices vary depending on which night of the week you go but your unlikely to pay more than £12 for a ticket. I have been several times now and there are always some good acts.
A. R.
Always a cracking night out although their house lager was “Smokey”
D. W.
Stand was and always will be the home of comedy to me ..... acts were brilliant drinks were decent bbbbbuttttttt pls stop forcing people to sit with their hands up to order drinks at the beginning its an absolute joke system guys change it now or I'll tell my dad on you 😁🏴
D. P.
Great atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff. Interesting-looking venue.
J. H.
Went here on a Monday night to see Kevin Bridges and a few supporting comic acts. Great night of fun! The house rules are strict about no heckling and no recording of shows, which creates a space for great comedy. Good food and drink options too. Highly recommend.
R.
Wednesday night is Red Raw night. Absolutely fantastic night. 10 Comedians, 2 of whom had NEVER performed on stage before! A total of 3 hours of comedy and for only £3 (plus 50p booking 😉)
A word of warning tho. Some of the comedians sale pretty close to the wind in terms of "Socially Acceptable" material and make sure you wear something cool. No, not stylish cool 😎. It was absolutely boiling in the basement. Not sure if there was AC and it wasn't working or if it was deliberate to make you buy more drink 😉, which was reasonably priced I'd add. If you are in Any of the locations on Red Raw night I'd thoroughly recommend going. Book ticket or GET THERE EARLY, it gets BUSY!
L.
Had a great time in here. Acts were brilliant and the choice of drinks aint to bad either.
J. D.
Absolutely outstanding value for money. Get yourself a ticket and have a great night. Cheap drinks but no cheap jokes. A really good evening for couples or groups of friends.
First act was odd however, just talked about how he gets aroused at work making pizzas. No punchline. Then he tried to sell the audience a book he wrote. Funny for the wrong reasons.
S. H.
Fantastic set-up, with dinner upstairs if you like, then downstairs to the show. Or if you prefer head straight to the venue for tasty stuff like burgers or nachos before the show.. Amazing food, great comedians (we have been 3 times in the last few months) and guaranteed to blow your socks off! Great night out!
A. M.
Love this place. The staff are so lovely. Can't wait to visit again. Look forward to going alot more often now were allowed..... 😷😷
M. J. (.
Great comedy club with excellent acts on the regular. Tickets sell quick! Good priced bar also with nice choices. Not a fancy affair but a great night out!
N. s.
Great stand up, fantastic food, nice venue and cheap night Wednesdays. Plus I like that they don't do shots so you don't get the overly drunken groups always trying to heckle. Just a relaxed evening of good comedy.
S. Q. (. Q.
Wednesday night Red Raw, cheap night in. always a great atmosphere, some brilliant acts, some not so brilliant ones but you have to start somewhere. Decent food at a decent price if you want snacks downstairs, nachos, burgers etc. Good choice of draught beers, normally have bottles on special. Something on every night of the week. If you want the most bang for your buck entertainment wise this is the place for you.
J. B.
The comedian was great. The prices of drinks is quite. Well no not quite, it is expensive, a little too expensive really.
A. R.
Great comedy club with early entry for food and drink. Great acts most of the time. No phone signal which is perfect for actually enjoying the moment. Lots of seats but also intimate
D. M.
Cool venue, which I visited for the suggestibles comedy night. The comedians were excellent and the whole audience seemed to have a great time. Staff friendly both upstairs and downstairs. Venue was clean and tidy throughout. I had the chilli burrito to eat downstairs which was nice. Beer choice was pretty poor sadly and could really do with a little bit of imagination or creativity. Be aware the comedy venue is in a basement and you won't get any mobile signal.
C. M.
Quite possibly the best Sunday dinner I've ever had. Certainly the best I've bought in Newcastle. I remember this place fondly from the last time it blew my mind with a burger. Nice, chilled, unpretentious atmosphere, quality food and drinks. Top place.
R. S.
Great open mic night, cheap and you can eat reasonable food at your table. The compere was not my cup of tea, I don't feel the need to watch a middle aged white man punch down all night, but everyone was laughing so... The staff were excellent.
C. D.
Very popular comedy venue, you need to get there when the doors open to be sure of a seat, especially if you are in a crowd i.e. more than two! We went there twice in one week, the first time to see Reginald D Hunter, the second for the Red Raw open mike night and even that was sold out. A very supportive and appreciative audience for new acts, and both were very enjoyable evenings. Only dropped a star as the food wasn't great. Not as good as our previous visit a year or so ago.
B. S.
First time at a comedy club, what a great night. Definately booking again soon 👍
G. C.
Had a fab night, the comedians and compare were fab (Barr one)......but 1 in 5 is cracking in my eyes.......if I could recommend one improvement to the guys who run this place....it would be to turn the air con on......honest, it won't break the bank. It being hot does not make people buy more drinks....it just makes them uncomfortable and not be able to enjoy the show as much.
R. H.
Great little venue. A couple of dodgy acts but the setup is impressive.
K.
Food is delicious though expensive. The drinks aren't the cheapest either (£3.90 for Carling). The atmosphere and overall experience make up for it though. Truly a wonderful place, feel very lucky that such a good quality comedy club is in Newcastle
M. R.
Fantastic night, friendly and cosy.
K. G.
Great atmosphere, first time in the Newcastle venue and we'll definitely be back!!
P. C.
Fantastic, cosy venue. So intimate. I really didn't expect to be that close to Robert Newman! What a gig. Lovely staff, great bar and performance area. Didn't eat there, but the food looked nice.
Would visit again 😁
L. J.
Been to this store 5 times now, ranged from funny to absolutely ruthlessly brutal (last night, with Jerry Sadowitch). I'll never stop going. It took me far too long to get into comedy clubs, so don't think about it, get yourself to the stand and laugh, laugh, laugh. Enjoy happy people.
W. E.
Great acts but very disappointed to see price board showing £10 admission fee when I'd paid £17 online ticket for 4 people - difference of £30. My daughter queried this and told dismissively that the board was for Friday, 13 July (we were there on Saturday 14 July) but the board clearly said it was the weekend entry rate. Minimum staff present so unable to pursue this any further
j. w.
Fantastic experience from walking in the door until the end of the show. Can't wait to come back soon
A. C.
Had a Great evening of stand up comedy. Enjoyed my first ever visit to the Stand. Shall definitely be visiting again. Definitely value for money, and an alternative to visiting bars in Newcastle. Thanks for the entertainment.
M. F.
Great venue, great performances every time I've went. Only shame is the pillars that can restrict views. But for value for money you definitely can't go wrong here
A. I.
The Stand Comedy is a very nice place in the city centre of Newcastle. The environment is calm and lovely. Definitely the best place to have some drinks on busy weekends when all the other places are crowded and you cannot even chat with your friends.
J. B.
Really enjoyed the show I saw here. Food and drink wasn't expensive and was good quality. Little cramped but that really added to the atmosphere, making the night so much better
c. F.
Phoned this The Stand, Comedy Club,
31, High Bridge,
Newcastle.
Asking for What's on Events and spoke to a wonderful man called Richard Turner who was full of information on Events Bars and food and restaurants upstairs.
His Club and staff went that extra mile and give me 110% attention on my Questions.
Going to visit this Club on Thursday 25th April to see the stand up acts X 5 of them along side Alfie Joey last seen on Britain Got Talent in 2018 with 2.7 views and can't wait to visit if well enough to do so
( Fingers Crossed)
See you there soon for my 1st visit.

Had a brilliant night! Saw The Suggestibles and I can honestly say i spent the full 2 hours laughing my pants off! Was even better being on the front row. They do improv comedy and it was hilarious!
N. S.
Not just a comedy club; their cafe/bar is a great place to pop into for lunch. Great food, reasonably priced. Good music, relaxed, welcoming staff, rarely difficult to find a table. A hidden gem.
M. R.
A friend and I went to the Monday night show, Good Grief, and had an amazing time! There were 5 comedians total and each had us laughing for different reasons. I would highly recommend spending £3 to see this show or anything at The Stand!
D. “. T.
The comedy club itself is an excellent custom venue and have seen some very good comedy there over the last year, however the bistro stands out on its own.
The food is excellent, probably one of the best restaurant foods I have had anywhere across any type of cuisine and reasonably priced for the quality.
The service is friendly and you can sit in the beer garden to eat during hot weather which is a self contained courtyard. There is also a good range of beers and ciders available including a personal favourite of mine, Aspall's Cider!
J. C.
Venue was beautiful. The staff had so much energy and enthusiasm, they made coming out of lockdown a great time.
e. s.
Been tonight October 25th. Jason Byrne was on. He is brilliant, hilarious and what was even more hilarious was how funny he thought we were "the audience". First time I've seen him, will definitely go when he's back. Great night
C. C.
Wednesday night Raw... £3 a ticket and worth every penny. Mainly new acts but still a brilliant night out and already booked our next tickets.
A. H.
Just saw Kevin Bridges at Stand. Absolutely brilliant. As always The Stand venue and staff were fantastic. #love The Stand Newcastle
P. C.
Unpretentious and friendly, great selection of comedy acts including good value "Red Raw" newcomers' nights. Good value bar food from a short menu, and usually a couple of good ales on tap. Food upstairs in the restaurant also v.g.
H. E.
Had a fab time, great venue, hilarious act! Would definitely recommend The Suggestible's! Only flaw is it got very hot so don't wrap up too warm!
D. D.
Great night really funny friendly atmosphere much better then watching it on telly
s. W.
Really enjoyed their pantomime they had on last night! Was brilliant and funny for both adults and children. Also really cheap for tickets.. will make sure to go next year.
M. S.
One of the towns best venues. Cracking atmosphere - great food served up to 15mins before your act starts. Look forward to the next opportunity to go.
L. P.
The comedy is brilliant and we've seen some really good quality acts such as Kevin Bridges, NIsh Kumar, Angela Brnes and many more. The local comedy is also brilliant.
So why the three stars you ask... Food and service lets this place down unfortunately. There is a table served menu upstairs and the quality is not good at all, its also quite pricey. There is also a menu in the comedy club section downstairs but the process is very unorganised, in fact on two occasions they have taken my order and paid up front and my order has been misplaced resulting in a refund and no apology.
To summarise, they need a better menu upstairs and a better chef, also need to sort out the whole ordering process downstairs.
Drinks are also massively over priced i.e. a cordial with tap water was £2.50.
R. F.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, hilarious acts and some canny beer! Overall a cracking night out. Hopefully they reopen soon
S. S.
Went to comedy night on 20 august only£12 a ticket to raise money for local charity STROKE NORTH EAST. They organise something here once a year . 3 GREAT comedians on very funny and also have a raffle . We decided on bar snack food got a pulled pork burger and sweet potato fries very nice . There IS also a restaurant seating upstairs but would book a table and go in plenty time if you goin to see a show I've was told sometimes gets busy .
A.
One of the best places to come to in Newcastle. The Red Raw nights on Wednesday are an amazing night out and always feature hilarious comedians. Staff are lovely, decent drink selection and good food.
T. K.
An awesome comedy club, also great for food and drinks. Had a delicious Crane Row Pork roast on Sunday, with Yorkshire pudding, properly cooked still crunchy veggies (the red cabbage was particularly tasty), roasted potatoes and mash. First food encounter with Newcastle: so far so good!
A. c.
Cosy venue, decent range of prices depending on the line-up and I'd say it's good value for the money. You will be a target if you sit in the front rows, but it's all in good humour so be brave. The food upstairs is pretty good, in particular the lamb kofta pittas and the fish finger sarnie, and the prices are decent.
D. S.
Absolutely amazing hidden little comedy club in Newcastle. From big name nights to Red Raw Wednesday where it's 10 comedians for £3 there's something guaranteed for everyone!!! In a cellar essentially so there's phone reception but it works perfectly in their comedians favours! It's a must visit for everyone visiting this lovely city!
M. O.
Good, cool vibe with excellent food/ drink - staff are pleasant and courteous and it's a nice place to be. Good selection of beers and other drinks.
A star off for beer prices, but, this IS the Toon.
C.
If I could add more stars I would. Went there for a birthday night, the bar staff were fab, the comedy was hilarious. Great night had by all. Thanks guys and gals
J. B.
Really enjoyed the show I saw here. Food and drink wasn't expensive and was good quality. Little cramped but that really added to the atmosphere, making the night so much better
R. H.
I love it here every time we go! The comedy is always great, the staff are friendly and atmosphere is really relaxed. I think it's great value for money!
A. C.
Had a Great evening of stand up comedy. Enjoyed my first ever visit to the Stand. Shall definitely be visiting again. Definitely value for money, and an alternative to visiting bars in Newcastle. Thanks for the entertainment.

Absolutely brilliant. Everyone should go now and then. Fantastic little Venue. Great atmosphere!!
m.
Great atmosphere, fantastic comedy and good prices. Decent disabled access but not the best, toilets are a bit run-down. Perfect for a chill evening out.
K.
Food is delicious though expensive. The drinks aren't the cheapest either (£3.90 for Carling). The atmosphere and overall experience make up for it though. Truly a wonderful place, feel very lucky that such a good quality comedy club is in Newcastle

K. A.
Love this venue. I didn't have any alcohol or food but the soft drinks were reasonably priced.
P. S.
Cool atmosphere and really nice staff, the venue is in the basement below the cafe and has a stripped back classic comedy club feel. The seats are a tad uncomfortable though :P
R. H.
I love it here every time we go! The comedy is always great, the staff are friendly and atmosphere is really relaxed. I think it's great value for money!
P. S.
Great night out, never know what you'll get on a Wednesday night
K. B.
A great night, the food was lovely, The Belhaven was amazing, the comics were fantastic. The venue is everything you'd expect it to be.
D. M.
Red Raw is open mic night on a Wednesday. Always a great show but get there before 7:45 to get a good seat. Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8:30.
J. C.
Lovely small venue, always been amazing!
k. w.
Good night with the usual spread of up & coming comedians through to the more established on the circuit. Good crowd, service at the bar was excellent and speedy, no long waits.
G. B.
After a few sunny days in Tynemouth I was on my first visit, on my own, to Newcastle. I wandered around trying to find somewhere to eat and found myself in a dark, narrow street on a damp night outside The Stand. The menu looked tempting and the food delivered this promise. Vegetable tempura was perfect. A huge Waldorf salad was topped with black bream - a light, crispy coating and moist, delicious fish. Good quality ice cream and I treated myself to a glass of the best white wine. A seriously good meal. And the staff were friendly, too. I live in Ealing, West London where there are dozens of restaurants, not one of which I would visit with the same enthusiasm with which I would, if only I could, go back to The Stand. Please consider creating a fourth venue in Ealing.
A. H.
I enjoy this place on every visit . Get there earlier seating is limited. Food is ok but the acts and atmosphere is why I come back all the time
R. H.
What a venue. Really good food, very clean and welcoming...be nice if other comedy clubs that won't be named can follow suit....
E. M.
Really lovely intimate environment for a small gig. Good range of crisps at the bar also! However no WiFi or phone signal downstairs...
N. P.
I loved my evening there in December. Such fun! I look forward to going back sometime. The food was delicious too. I highly recommend it!
S. P.
Had a night here on Saturday and it was brilliant, 4 acts on and all really funny. None stop laughing can't wait to go back.
T. P.
Loved it. Make sure you triple up on drinks order :)
C. H.
Wanted to purchase ticket for chrris ramsey as advertised on blackboard outside of comedy club on the day. False advertising to get you in as tickets sold out weeks before. Expensive drinks. Cheap trick to get you in and buy a drink!!
I. M.
Great night seeing The Suggestibles. A fantastic, smart, sharp and funny as hell local improv group. Great venue for it too.
D. Y.
From the friendly staff to the accessible this venue have catered for my every need saw the wonderful Omid Djili for my birthday there had a blast
K. A.
Love this venue. I didn't have any alcohol or food but the soft drinks were reasonably priced.
N. L.
Great night with friends for a laugh and a few drinks. Definitely recommend seeing a show. Food looks nice too!
M. C.
Excellent funny night. First time I have been there and I will certainly return. Had a meal in the bistro section; the food and service was also excellent.
R. G.
Brilliant place to go to for comedy, very intimate venue which is what you want for these types of show, only downside was the lack of air-con which during summer months can be uncomfortable but would still recommend!
g. t.
lovely venue food downstairs is a little limited and every time we have been a mic has poped during the performance but is normally rectified quickly
K. H.
Had an absolutely marvellous night with a terrific atmosphere. Kieran and the Whale were a really good act with plenty of good laughs.

Always a good atmosphere, great selection of acts too. No signal when you're in the room (which is a good thing- no distractions!). Drinks are pricey though.

Great acts and tickets reasonably priced. Some surprising decent food. Decor is just looking a bit tired and could do with a revamp.
