Awesome venue with a great atmosphere. 1st time visiting last night and it was great. Massive thanks for helping my disabled wife get in and settled before the doors. Made our night. Sound is awesome, not good for a smaller venue but just really good. Atmosphere was electric, being closer to the band it made for a more personal listening experience. Can't say enough good. Great staff, great sound, great venue.

Love the look of the think tank? It is incredibly atmospheric. Bit pricey for drinks like most places you go to see gigs but has charm and for a small venue it's great. It's in a brilliant location too very close to the train station and loads of bars, food places and hotels.

amazing performance space - ideal for up and coming bands, as well as providing an intimate setting for larger names. It feels good in here even on quieter nights, but the atmosphere on busier nights is unreal. A great wee venue.

Fantastic concert venue for bands, has a very close and intimate atmosphere. Bar prices are expensive but that's what you expect, (they provide free water though) and it's in a pretty accessible area, just by the Life Centre. I'd personally recommend parking in the Newcastle College car park and doing a small 5m walk.

Great venue. Very small. No where near the capacity stated on their site. Low ceilings. Smoking terrace so no pass ours required. Ladies loos were a bit grim. Lots of funky beers and ciders at typical Newcastle venue prices. Good atmosphere.

The prices of the drink in there is really good and the love music was phenomenal... would recommend if you like rock and good music. The bar area is small but I never waited more then 2 minutes to get served

Drink prices are a little high, 8 quid for a red bull and a bottle of beer. I went to see icon for hire last Tuesday and it was 12 quid each for tickets. Great venue great staff. Deffinetky great for banter and bands

Went to see Hands Off Gretel who were utterly brilliant. The venue itself is small and intimate and lends itself beautifully to live music because the audience are so close to the artists .Well worth a visit.

Went for a gig last week. Venue is nice and cosy (small) but it fits certain bands. Beer was very limited choice and highly priced. But so are many other bars in the area so didn't rate lower.

A great little venue, far better than half the Venus in Newcastle. It holds around 250 people and that makes the atmosphere great.

Been here twice, it's a good venue to see bands, the sound is great, it is upstairs, so it anyone does have difficulty with stairs, may need help, staff are great, never much of a wait, not overpriced for drinks.

been to approximately 13,698 gigs here. 1st of all the upstairs is pretty decent alright sound quality and a balcony for when u are overwhelmed with crippling social anxiety 🥴😖, an okay neon sign where all the 2 year old instagram 'influencers' eith 36 followers go to take photos for their Instagram cause they're 'cool'. the toilets are absolutely vile, at the downstairs venue there was literal s*** all over the bathroom. I am not exaggerating. and with one toilet ur screwed.. whoever did that *cough cough* j**e should be ashamed of himself. so sad 🥺
