Hired the Rowing.Club as the venue for pur wedding reception. The room looked stunning once set up and couldn't of picked a more beautiful setting overlooking the river from the balcony- patio doors opened up fully and.lit up when dark Jo and her team.couldn't have been more helpful and acommodating over the.months.of planning in making.sure we had the most amazing day. Thanks again guys, will def recommend and use again.😁

Went there today for the first time. Cycle friendly and very clean and comfortable with great views. Good coffee and tea and snacks etc. The staff member was very cheerful and friendly, well done to him.

Fantastic location on the bank of the Tyne. We couldn't believe it was dog friendly (dogs can go inside). Limited snack / lunch menu but our food was faultless and at amazing prices. Staff really helpful and friendly This will now be a regular refuelling stop on our circular walk from Wylam.

Nice spot overlooking the River Tyne at Newburn. Variety of drinks ( coffee, tea etc), soft drinks, beers , and snacks such as panini's and tacos. Very reasonable prices. Comfortable seating on the balcony looking down to the water. Sunny day today with rowers, hikers, cyclists and many others passing by. Always something of interest to look at. Today was actually a couple swimming in the Tyne and spotting seals in the water.

Lovely place to go for a relaxing drink overlooking the river tyne. The staff werre very nice and the prices are very reaaonable. I loved it so much I've booked my sons Christening there. **update** The room was absolutely perfect for an event and they couldn’t have been any more accommodating if they tried. They even cleaned my hot plate dishes and utensils that were left. Thank you so much for an amazing day!! I would choose anywhere else 💙❤️

Really fantastic venue with a beautiful view over the the river. Attended for a wedding, and the team had done a fabulous job setting up the room. Bar staff were friendly and dealt with any issues swiftly and without interrupting the wedding. Thanks team!

Lovely clubhouse on a beautiful stretch of river with stunning walks for dogs and people. Clubhouse has great facilities. Well stocked bar with ample seating, including comfy sofas and snuggly throws. Free Wifi. Coffee machine. Paninis. Almost always they have oat milk, and used to do pretty well with gluten-free paninis and dairy-free cheese. Hopefully that will be restocked and be a permanent feature. Dogs very welcomed and even treated to biscuits by the bar staff. Awesome balcony/veranda overlooking the river.

Can only comment on the bar area, which is open to the public. It has a very nice balcony area that is covered, with a lovely view of the river. Also good food and drink options.

This place has a stunning view of the Ryton Willows from their balcony, so it might end up becoming my go to place after exploring the Willows. It was a chill setting, not too many people and my drink was reasonably priced when I went, so I’m definitely coming back!

Large open plan room. Plain and lacks decor, fine if you like white. Friendly and efficient barman, very reasonable prices. The lounge area had comfortable seating, that look out over the Tyne, must be lovely in the daylight on a fine day. The members were friendly and chatty. A nice place to pass a couple of hours.

Went for a walk along the river a quiet by chance came across this rowing club with a balcony overlooking the river, as the public are welcome here we had a cappuccino and a latte sitting in the sunshine looking over the river watching the rowers, it was very picturesque and wifi return to do ot again, highly recommended

Called in because the Boatman pub was no longer open, which was next door,the rowing club allows walkers, cyclists or the public in general in,lovely view over the river with south facing balcony,great real ale and a great price too, covid aware and we'll run,
