Well, first time in a bingo hall for maybe 20yrs, and it’s moved on. Electronic keypads for the games or paper ones still available. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the food looked inexpensive, although I didn’t eat anything.

I was a bingo virgin so it was a pleasure to come to Merkur Bingo for my first time. Staff were very friendly and the facilities was far better than I expected. Food was a reasonable price along with the cost of drinks. I come in before the second round but didn't hold back my hopes to win big. Unfortunately they called all the wrong numbers and I walked away empty handed but did have a great time. Will certainly go back. Thanks guys for a lovely evening. Keep up the good work.

Not the behemoth of the club it used to be in its heyday. Alma’s bar survives the march of time, as do the sit down Party Time machines, which have been a backbone of this place for years. Still has reasonable numbers in for the bingo, and plenty of staff working. The school canteen type cafeteria remains popular, and this format generates the highest amount of food sales I’ve seen in any bingo club. Large free car park with no restriction or registration required. Slots areas poorly managed and lack staffing, with machine wiping/sanitising badly lacking observed in the many hours plotted up, empty glasses sat there all night, and no soft drinks offered to machine players unlike competitors, just a sandwich after evening bingo.

Fantastic atmosphere, started going to this bingo club last month and haven't had any problems. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cannot give a review of the food from here but smells very nice. Fantastic money prizes and very reasonably priced.

A fun night out with the family. Don't go there very often. Just once in a while. Free tickets on Tuesday as well. Had food from the very reasonable cafe. Plenty of games to play and did win £10 during one of them. Quite a busy night. Worth a look if you haven't been before.

We went back last night after at least two years since our previous visit. Now I know why we don’t go very often. What a soulless place, very very quiet, staff are obviously either bored to tears or on minimum wage so don’t care. The drinks have got expensive although the food was reasonably good. The caller was obviously on a promise as they called the numbers so fast it was very hard even for those with experience to keep up. I suspect this is because most people use the electronic boards now although those of us that like the pen and paper should still be considered. It would be very easy to miss a call because of this. I am not sure we will be going back in a hurry 😕

Love going to bingo. The seats can be a little uncomfortable but thats all. They are getting better at the food but could do with a bit more of a healthier choice other than lettuce tomato and cucumber. Plus a bit cheaper too please. Other than that a fairly decent evening out. Or daytime as they are open during the day too.

Fun way to lose your money, or win a little. Beacon bingo is large, open space. Bar is a little pricey, food is reasonably priced and tasty. Good range of promotional events from all games for £6 evenings, 2 for 1 nights etc. Staff are always helpful.

It's like taking a step back in time! Brilliant! My ex work colleagues and I love a good evening at the bingo hall. Cheap and cheerful night, bar is quick service and same with the food. Reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because they never have vegetarian options available apart from jacket potatoes, only a few fish sometines which sells out and when I asked staff about other options they replied with 'a plate of veg', I laughed as it was funny and she wasn't being rude at all. However some grilled halloumi, tuna pasta, vegetarian sausage, egg and chips wouldn't go a miss! I think it's important that you move forward with food options even if it's cooked to order on arrival. Just a recommendation.

Other than the BINGO (not much to review about that) they have a couple of bars and an in-house cafe which serves okay-ish food at a reasonable price. Once you've joined they'll post out vouchers for discounted nights out, which is probably the best time to go.

Big bingo hall not far from the town center, the usual slot machines on offer , played bingo here in the evening, big pay outs on offer £1000 on some full houses. There is a bar and grill offering the usual food and drink, i.e burgers , larger, etc. clean toilets
