Excellent class for adults and children of all ages. It is an ideal way to get fit or for those adults that did martial arts as a child to rekindle their passion of the arts. As part of the Japanese Karate Association (JKA) you will have opportunity to train with the top instructors from Japan and even those that represent England in Karate. Friendly but disciplined, no messing around, classes to reach personal and ambitious goals. Get fit, flexible, lose weight and build confidence. Definitely recommend to all.

This Karate club is the real deal! The Instructors are professional, child friendly and there is a real sense of belonging to a “family”. They have team building exercises as well as fun days. My son absolutely loves attending and his confidence has really grown since he has started here. He is now working towards his black belt and can’t wait to get back to the dojo after lockdown.

My six year old daughter and I recently started lessons with Sensei Rae. We were specifically looking for an activity that we could do together and neither of us had any previous experience of karate. We both enjoy the lessons immensely. The atmosphere in class is very friendly and Sensei Rae is extremely skilled at simultaneously teaching black belts and those with no experience at all! Couldn't recommend the the class highly enough as a family friendly activity where you can learn a new skill.

This dojo offers ladies’ only training, on top of the other mixed classes offered. The Sensei’s are very professional and qualified. They are themselves continuing to further their training into being examiners, and come back with different techniques to teach us. The classes are well attended and you feel that progress has been made after each class. I joined to kick off exercising, now I exercise to keep up my strength and fitness for the gradings. I have recommended to my friends and family. Thank you for running this dojo.

I wasn't confident when I started karate but the Sensei is fantastic. No one is left behind, beginner or experienced, everyone gets equal attention and support. I highly recommend this dojo. Great atmosphere.

Attending the ladies session, the Sensei is fantastic. She breaks down all the steps for us to make it easy to follow and is very welcoming to everyone. She's very accommodating too! So highly advise joining this club!

Very enjoyable session, really impressed with the standard, and a great place to start learning Shotokan Karate. The instructor has a lot of technical knowledge and is very in line with the traditional training methods of the Japanese Karate Association (JKA). Would recommend you try it and give it a go as the first session is free.

Great class for adults who are new to Karate, everyone is so friendly and its nice to have a mix of grades to practice with and learn from. Would recommend this class to anyone thinking of learning a new Martial Art or looking for an alternative fitness class.

Very high standard of traditional, Japanese Shotokan Karate that you would expect from the JKA. Teaching is highly technical and always gives you something to work on and improve regardless of your grade. Dojo floor is really good and atmosphere is friendly and approachable.
