Great atmosphere! The bands playing were absolutely incredible and all the band members had great energy.

Nice bar on the Cowley Road with an attached music venue. For Oxford the beer is good value and a good choice. Music venue is also good value and offers a good choice of musical acts. Altogether, good value and a good night out.

Went for a social and had a great time. Happy hour made everything right in the world. Great fruity cocktail drinks. Everyone had a really nice chat.

Great atmosphere and The Haven Club, which we were visiting, is run really well and has some great bands. Beer: expensive. Parking nearby can be difficult, particularly when there's also something on the O2 further up the Cowley Road. Another visit (Feb 22) as music venues begin to re-open after the pandemic and so good to see so many people come out on a Thursday evening to see Jack J Hutchinson and his band, with support from Krissy Matthews.

Went to The Bullingdon live music venue. It's actually separate with separate licensing rights to the bar/food bit next door. Live music venue was a good small venue. Sound was good (but being overly critical, not the bestest). Generated a nice atmosphere. Good lighting. Good drinks selection and friendly bar staff. Minimal waits at bar. Would've been nice however to be able to go next door to the quieter bar space for in case you're not enjoying the support acts. Seems very pedantic to not allow those in the live music venue to take drinks purchased there next door into their other bar? But there we go; it is it what it is. Overall, enjoyed the venue and good place for bands to play.

An alright place, with great lighting and alright prices. Can't say the music was great the night I was there but the staff were undeniably friendly and full of energy taking to dance amidst an otherwise quiet mid week evening out.

This is Oxfords Biggest INDIE venue, meaning independently owned and run! its all about the music, and is a must visit when visiting oxford and going for a night out. delicious high end drinks/ cocktails/ and lovely draft beers. this is a cocktail bar and venue split! I love it

Came here for a gig so didn't visit the other part but it's a nice venue for a gig on the smaller side. Floor was a bit sticky but otherwise it seemed alright. Bar staff were friendly and efficient.

Went to a comedy night and was perhaps expecting a bit more. The toilets are awful. As a rough and ready music venue it's acceptable but for a sit down comedy show, it doesn't really pass muster.

Went to a gig last night and managed to have a asthma attack (haven’t had one in in a while) and didn’t have my inhaler. I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff at The Bullingdon who were so kind and helpful. Got my hands on an inhaler and went back to enjoy the live music. Great staff - great venue

Really good intimate music venue with great sound and lots of amazing shows from up and coming bands, local gems and legends. Club nights, comedy and jazz too if that's your thing. The comfy cocktail bar out front does a great bloody mary.

Nice sized venue & enjoyed the gig..... Don't know what was going on with people passing out though? Two passed out & had to be taken outside, and my friend had a dizzy half hour, needed propping up or would have also been on the floor - pre drinks! Maybe needs some air flow....? Strange

Decent venue for spoken word. Very small with nice audio. I haven't seen any musical acts here but I'm told it can be mighty l i t. I knock a star off because the toilets are nasty. But other than that, I really like the venue. (I like small venues generally.)

Attended a comedy night. Venue a bit rough round the edges. Drinks reasonably priced and the comedians were great. It was a pleasant change to have 3 really comedians with a great compare as well. Far better than recent venues I've been to which have been hit and miss for entertainment.

Went to see S.P.Y and some other amazing dnb DJs here. great crowd (especially near the front), good venue size and not overfilled, friendly staff, great security (apart from one guy), and all in all one of the best experiences I've had from a dnb event across the UK!

She Drew the Gun were great but spoilt by bad sound mixing, the bass was too loud and couldn't hear Louisa sing, her words are really important and we couldn't hear her... she also has such a beautiful voice that would have liked to hear.... disappointing.

Bloody hilarious comedy nights. 4 acts including hysterical host. Sensible prices for comedy night, Toilets are vile for both men and women. Only stayed for comedy club out the back, bar out back toilets, separated to front bar. Think it turns to club at night.

Went here for a private event, bar staff were absolutely lovely, coat room required a payment in cash which kinda sucks and the bouncers were rude and heavy handed with us (remember we hired this as a private event) when the time came to leave, even though we were trying to thank the venue for having us and help make sure everyone had left and not forgotten anything.
