I've booked my big day there, staff was very nice, the drinks were really good but the food was tasty but very small portions... but if you going for drinks and dancing its great. Loved the photo booth😁

If you're of a similar vintage to me, and worried about being too old, and feeling out of place, don't! Take my advice, and visit this place on a Tuesday tea time. The staff are friendly, helpful, and gorgeous, the beer is cold, and you can sit anywhere you want, without having to endure twenty first century dance music! I'm told that the prices aren't that bad, but they're much better, if you bring an employee, from another branch of the franchise! In short, I wish this was my local, and I'd visit much more often, if I didn't live on the other side of the country, but was a very pleasant day out.

Cocktail masterclass- Booked the masterclass as part of a hen do I was planning, what a laugh it was. Staff were brilliant. Danek who hosted the night was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble even with 14 rowdy girls. Got welcome drinks, shown how to make 3 cocktails/these got shared out after. Followed by each member of the party picking a cocktail of choice to make. Also played some drinking challenges, resulting in chilli shots for the loosers. Food was amazing, we went for the sharing platters options and it delicious, plenty of choices and lots of it. Chips Chicken Mini Corndogs Burger sliders Corn on the cob Vodka shot train to finish. Toilets upstairs to use. Only down side was a couple missing seats and toilet rolls. Would easily go back again

On the whole I don't like chain pubs and resturaunts but Revolution Plymouth is exemplary. The staff are friendly and quick. Two beautiful cocktails served at the table within minutes at a great 2 for £12 price, on match day too. World Cup is screened there. Outdoor and indoor seating. Food was lovely. Would recommend the 2 person sharing board. Really impressed by Revolution, as always.

Went to Plymouth revolution last night with 3 friends. The ladies are deaf and one has a bad back but the staff were brilliant. They took the time to communicate effectively, offer appropriate support and access to seating and facilities in a friendly and fun manner. With a good selection of 'small plates' and a variety of drinks it all amounted to a very nice evening out. Special mention goes to Liv who was an absolute star.

Was using a virgin experience gift for afternoon tea. Not your conventional afternoon tea, little surprised it does not even include a drink/cup of tea. That said, food was great. More american street food but delicious. Also cater for veggie or vegan and are happy to adjust for other reasons. Camilla is also a great waitress

If the world leaders of today took a little R&R at Revolution Plymouth, well, perhaps our society would be a little bit better.

We did the private master cocktail class for my hen do with Danick and Revs please give this man a huge raise, maybe even make him the president of the company because he was absolutely incredible! Energetic, fun and personable. Could not speak more highly of our experience. We got so many cocktails and all of us were engaged throughout the entire class. Cannot recommend Danick enough and the others who served us were nice as well. Danick you are the man and thank you for your patience, fun energy and laughs!

Beth was serving us for the evening and she was excellent help. She recommended cocktails to us as we were indecisive on which to order and she always served us with a smile and good nature! This place transform during the evening from restaurant to restaurant/bar/night spot with dancefloor. The food was good and the cocktails are nice. Prices are also reasonable. I would say if you're looking for a place to chat as a couple or out with friends and have a warm ambience then I'd recommend you arrive a little earlier as the later crowd when the dance music starts to go on can get pretty rowdy. When I was there, groups of people were arriving who seemed to have already been out drinking for a while and were being loud and a bit silly. Im not a prude theres nothing wrong with having fun but it just got a bit much. They did have security on the door though. Also when the music's on it gets pretty loud so conversations over a dinner table isn't really doable. I would definitely come back to this place though.

Nice open space, good food and a great range of drinks. Ordering on the app was simple for drinks but not as intuitive for food and it feels like the venue is geared more heavily towards drinks and social gatherings. Would recommend highly for these events and advise if your looking for a quiet meal to seek elsewhere. Review based on visiting on Saturday around 5pm.

Great place only visited for about 40 minutes for birthday meal for partner bit enjoyed it. Waiter called Callum was friendly and helpful. Would have stayed longer but only toilets are upstairs and with partner not well was not able to get around much so didn't want to drink too much and need to keep going. If had a downstairs toilet would have definitely stayed longer

Went during the weekday and was very quiet and only one other group there. Got greeted by a very helpful chap who took our order for food and drinks and was always willing to help with anything we needed. Even helped my partner who for some how got lost going to the toilet. Good customer service food was good value for money.

I like this bar, serves meals, drinks and cocktails. Close to the Theatre Royal so an easy stop for pre theatre meals. Has a nightclub at night. Varied menu, although atmosphere is aimed at a younger age group, felt no less welcomed by the staff in spite of my senior years 😊 Revisited today, enjoyed the experience, still the only main restaurant open next to the theatre, post covid19. Consequently age range has expanded. 😊

Revolution deserves so much more credit than it gets. It’s a great place to go! (During the day, haha!). The bartenders are well trained in the cocktail spec and I must admit, after chasing Bloody Mary’s around the country Revolution’s spec still holds high in my cards! Go and try it, honestly I don’t think you will regret it... it’s wicked!

Went for a meal with the wife and 18month old. Service staff were incredible. So friendly and helpful. The wife had a curry and I had the Mother Clucker burger, hands down it was the best burger I've had. Monday was 50% off and we had 2for1 cocktails too for a cheeky drink too.

Even at 50% off, the food was rather expensive for what it was. Realistically, I could have expected that price for even a rubbish low rating restaurant. Well, that would have been fine had the chicken strips that came with the burger meal were noth both been cold and burnt. The side that I'd ordered with it was also cold and so was the burger. In fairness, if it weren't burnt / cold, it might've been alright. I'm going to assume that they were immensely busy and give them a generous 3*.

I love this place, but there's a constant queue at the bar which puts me off going now. Lovely decor and atmosphere, but bar service has never changed. Bouncers reluctant to give stamps at the door when leaving the lcub, but quite happy to rip people off by charging entry AGAIN.

Came here for a birthday, after someone got our order wrong and meant one out of our group had to wait longer for their meal "Ben" was very accomodating and apologetic, he gave us money off our order for the trouble. It turned a situation where I would have been put off coming back into a place I would still recommend highly going to to friends. Thanks! You made our night!

Their new menu is really good, albeit slightly expensive. £30 for 2 meals and 2 drinks which isn't bad but could be cheaper. They have a rule with certain meals that if it's not out within 15 minutes it's free Mon-Fri I believe. Well worth a visit even if it's just for the enterence which is really nice... Sounds weird but check it out.

Had food on new years eve, fairly pricey for the food and drinks but the food was nice enough. The staff weren't very attentive, even though we were literally the ONLY table in there, had tonstand at the bar while we got ignored over and over even when another member of staff pointed out we were standing there there was still no hurry to serve.
