L. C.I've been to the RAW night for several months in a row and I've always had a great time. It's very relaxed and friendly, you get to see tonnes of different comedians of different styles/experience levels, and all of this for about £2-3! You see about 6(?) different acts for 5 mins each, with a compere in the middle, ended by a 'headliner' who is more experienced, for about 15 mins. A really great night and so pleased to have this, regular, in Reading, for lower budgets.

I think the best thing is I feel comfortable going alone or with mates, it's a fantastic treat for yourself (which we all deserve) Check em out at the Purple Turtle, Double Barreled Brewary and soon to be Bristol!

N. B.So I’ve discovered that ‘Mates Rates Comedy’ Gig nights out in Reading is the way to go. Have been watching their Shows at the Purple Turtle these past few years (in and out of Lockdown). But recently seen Reginald D Hunter smash it at Double-Barrelled Brewery and noticed it was under ‘Mates Rates Comedy’. Had to share
