S. M.We booked Hampshire Event DJ's for our wedding at Burley Manor after meeting Simon at a wedding fayre at Burley. As soon as we met Simon we knew we were going to use him and his team and are very pleased we did! Throughout the build up to the wedding Simon kept in touch with us and helped us ensure we had the correct music to have the dance floor full at all times. The music was exactly what we wanted and our guest were very complementary to the music. I would highly recommend and use again!
B. J.We got married on 21st December at Lainston House and had a fantastic evening. The music was exactly as we had asked for, utilising their user friendly music software. All of the music we requested was played and the DJ made sure it all fitted with the evening. Simon even made a bespoke mix for the Father of the Bride dance which went down a storm! The dance floor was busy the whole night- no-one could tear themselves away. A lot of people even said that their legs hurt the next day from all the dancing they had done! We would highly recommend the services of Hampshire Event DJs to anyone that is planning entertainment for a special occasion, as Simon said on our original scoping call the music is a big key to the memories and this was spot on!! Thanks to Charlie and Simon for ensuring it was a brilliant night for all 😁😁

On the night, Martin was great. He made us feel very relaxed, talked us through the order of things and even helped out with other things such as the cake cutting. Charlie DJ'd on our big day at Somerley house and smashed it, we couldn't have been happier and our guests had an awesome time. We've received so many compliments from guests on the music and how the dance floor was packed all night - he went above and beyond to handle last minute requests from us.
K. T.We are so pleased we used Hampshire Event DJs for our wedding. We booked way back in Aug 2020 for our wedding, which was originally meant to be April 2021. Booking was simple and speaking with Simon over the phone felt really personal, rather than just by email. We had a good chat about what we wanted and didn't want and he immediately made me feel at ease and feeling like we were in good hands. I also told Simon what we wanted for our first dance, which was taking the stripped back acoustic version of a Gorgon City song and halfway through mixing in the upbeat dance version. Simon went away and in no time he'd created a mix, which was exactly as I'd envisioned it. Such a nice touch and it felt great knowing we could have the song how we wanted it. Due to obvious reason, we had to move our wedding back a year, but this was no issue. This was swiftly rescheduled with no stress at all. Another nice feature they have is the opportunity to create your own playlist by picking the songs you want to have played and also highlighting any songs you definitely don't want played. This was brilliant, as it meant we got the songs we wanted, but just as important we also ensure we had no cheesy songs that we really didn't want.
Dan arrived in good time for the evening reception and set up so quickly without causing any issues. He was a really nice bloke too and was very friendly. He played great music and had the dance floor filled up for most of the night. He only spoke at a couple of points to announce our first dance and cutting of the cake and then just concentrated on the music. This is great, as some DJs like to talk lots, which is something I'd told Simon I didn't want.
All in all, we are so pleased with the service and value for money we received and would definitely use them again should we need a DJ or recommend anyone else that need one.
M.We are so happy that we chose Hampshire Event DJs for our wedding. We booked Simon back in 2019, and he was brilliant and very understanding when we had to postpone the wedding twice over 3 years. Booking Simon as our DJ was a really easy process, and choice! We knew we wanted him to be our music man the minute we met him! We had lots of chats about the type of music we wanted, and we felt completely confident that Simon was going to make our vision come to life. The website where we got to enter any songs we did or didn’t want included was really easy to navigate around and meant we could ensure there were lots of songs that were particular favourites to us!
Simon our DJ was so friendly, understanding and fun! Even when one of the bridesmaids decided to have a go at entertaining everyone with a bit of karaoke….!
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and atmosphere! We will be recommending them to anyone who is looking for a fantastic DJ!

The entire team at Hampshire Event DJ's were incredible. We were unfortunate enough to have to move our wedding due to the pandemic. Simon could not of been more calming and helpful. Last night was our wedding night and Dan put on an amazing evening. So much so, I couldn't wait to write this review and share our outstanding experience with everyone.

Simon and the team were nothing but brilliant over the course of the two years as we rearranged dates and times and when we finally got to the run up of the big day, Simon went the extra mile to help edit a piece of music I wanted to dance with my dad to. On the day the set up was seamless and the Dan was great, taking requests and and ensuring everyone was on their feet. Thank you to the team for making it a party worth remembering!

K. J.We got married on the 2nd April at Bury Court Barn. I found choosing and booking a DJ quite a daunting process as it's such a big part of the wedding day! From the very first conversation I had with Simon he was so reassuring and easy to chat to, totally put me at ease! Having the online music portal was a big bonus for me, knowing I could add songs that I wanted played and songs that I definitely didn't want. Dan on the day was so lovely and friendly, played all of our songs and read the room so well. He kept me dancing all night which is exactly what I wanted. I can't thank Simon and Dan enough!
N. J.Hampshire DJs were great from the beginning, we had a zoom call to start which instantly put us at ease. Simon was full of knowledge and picked up on mine and Phil’s personalities very quickly. This was used to create an amazing playlist suiting both of ours and our friends music taste. The hub that’s used to click songs that you definitely wanted and definitely didn’t want was great too. We spent an evening going through it with a drink and asking Alexa to play all the songs! (Phil’s all about the 80’s and I’m the 90’s) We hoped for a party, a celebration and a full dance floor, which is exactly what was delivered.

P. P.Hampshire DJs made our wedding! The music choices across the night kept people on the dance floor. Especially my father who I think had the best night ever. The guests loved the mix of music so it meant everyone had a song they could definitely dance to. As the bride I can't honestly say I've never danced so much.
Simon was great with keeping in touch on the run up to our wedding and was reassuring when we had questions about covid. He was friendly, responsive and helpful. Simon even helped me sort out my father daughter dance with a twist and I have to say that was definitely a memory I will never forget.

s. l.We had Dan as our DJ for our wedding and he really brought the party we couldn’t have asked for anything more. He was really friendly and asked if we would take requests from guests on the day or keep it to what we decided (I said why not if it gets people dancing).
The set up looked amazing with the orange lights. He played everything we wanted as we asked our guests for song requests prior which were mixed in with some Ibiza classics. The dance floor was never empty from the first dance to the last.
Everyone who came said how amazing it was and that they had the absolute best time. Simon who we booked it with was so helpful and really nice the entire process from start to finish was great would very highly recommend!!! You will not regret it!

S. G.I knew Simon was the only DJ I wanted to hire for my son's wedding at the end of May. His attention to detail, professionalism and extensive musical knowledge is what sets him apart from alot of other DJ companies.
From organising the ceremony music, checking on the mics from time to time for the all important speeches, ambient background music, to creating three utterly brilliant playlists curated from the music choices of my son and daughter-in-law for their silent disco... nothing was too much trouble and he was the consummate professional in every aspect, checking every detail so that it was perfect for them.
His extensive knowledge of music and great communication coupled with brilliant tunes on the night, made it a memorable party for everyone. and I can tell you it was quite a night!!.... guests are still talking about the music and when can they do it again...I'll have to think of an excuse for a celebration..I'm sure I can!

Hampshire event DJs have lots of playlists to get song ideas from which is great. We gave Simon free reign with the playlist in then end and wow he didn’t disappoint there was never a moment where the dance floor was empty! Dan responded to requests and was even able to play some traditional Sega music for our Mauritian side of the family which was a lovely bonus. The up lighting really set the Chapel off and added to the atmosphere. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending them. They were very professional, responded promptly to emails and sent out a really great brief for us to fill in before the wedding. E. G.From our first interaction with Simon & this company we’ve had nothing but the best experience possible. We booked, we postponed (covid) and Simon made it so easy. We then had to prep for a covid safe wedding which Simon went above and beyond to help us with by setting up games of bingo, the groom then caught covid 5 days before our second date (after joking with Simon about making sure we didnt catch Covid before the wedding) so we had to do a re-arrange last minute which again Simon was Incredible about. Made a bad situation so much better by his helpfulness so can’t thank him enough for that! When it FINALLLLLLY got to our wedding day Simon was AMAZING!!!!! We let him have pretty much creative control over the music and boy oh boy he did not disappoint, I am writing this three days after our wedding and my feet still hurt and My neck is so sore from throwing myself around to the music. We had guests who attempted to leave three times, they were out the door and down the path but they KEPT COMING BACK FOR THE MUSIC! Three times they came back! It definitely felt like we had a friend there with us DJ’ing, my guests loved him, he was happy to take requests and was so laid back about having them chewing his ear off! Could not recommend Simon & his company highly enough! I could go on and on and on but I need to take some ibuprofen for my dance injuries!!!!!

He incorporated all our requests, was really responsive to requests from guests on the night too. He was friendly and professional, arriving and setting up in plenty of time.
After booking we had a zoom meeting to discuss our wedding and thoughts, then a great app where we could select the songs we like and mark any we didn’t - this was a great way of us choosing as we could spend all the time we wanted going through the app and exploring the music.
We honestly couldn’t fault them at all, in any part of the process.
The DJ absolutely made our wedding night an amazing party.. we’re so very grateful.
He was great fun announcing the cake cutting and first dance, checking with us how we wanted to play it and he even selected our last dance of the night by Buddy Holly, as our first dance was to Buddy - this was a lovely and really thoughtful touch.

Simon was recommended to us by my sister in law who is a wedding organiser! He did such an amazing job on the day. He really went out of his way to get everything right for us and even snuck into the venue and set up early so as not to disturb our dinner and also helped transform the dining area into a dance floor (it was a DIY wedding!). I think we were fairly relaxed with what music we wanted and Simon put together the most insane playlist for us! Everyone was up and dancing all night!
