Absolutely incredible venue!!!! We had our Christmas party here! It was so beautifully decorated, gorgeous cocktails (certainly do the cocktail making) very fun and very generous on the sizes!!!!! All of the bar team were fab and really made our night!! 100% best Christmas party we have ever had!!!!

Lovely small venue, nice atmosphere. Recently saw Nick Harper there who was excellent. My only criticism was the bottled beer was a tad warm, maybe they hadn't made it to fridge yet, but staff helpful and friendly. Will most certainly return.

Great music venue, however the diet coke in the bottle seems very watered down, not sure why but not great when you are the designated driver. Would go again as love the quirkiness of the place.

This is a very nice place that has a typical English diner within. They serve various snacks, full English breakfast and lunch. I once had the Spanish omelette here and really enjoyed it. I initially thought it would be bland but turned out to be really tasty. The prices are also very affordable. The overall environment is neat and tidy too. There are also various types of coffee and tea for you to try.

Such great venue, long overdue in Truro. It is a genuine pleasure to be involved with the jazz events held here. The venue is run by enthusiastic and knowledgeable people, keen to bring a wide selection of gigs to the city. As a punter myself, I have also enjoyed attending the excellent comedy nights. Long may it's success continue! If you haven't been yet, you are missing something!

This place is a don't miss it place. It's a small venue so you get right up close and personal to whoever you are seeing. I can't recommend it highly enough. It's not posh it's chilled out & down to earth, alcohol is of a reasonable price for going out prices & the venue is easy to find. Generally a big thumbs up.

Love this place! The event calendar is packed with interesting and varied things, not just great music (and it is great) for all tastes... but also art, theatre, comedy, cinema, kids shows, cabaret and community events. There's a bar, a nice cafe, meeting spaces, a community choir, open days, and it's constantly changing and improving too. Well done team OBS!

Went to a fabulous jazz evening last night. Music was top quality in a very interesting venue. It's a shame it is not larger as one did feel a bit hemmed in but the quality of the music made up for it. Will keep a look out for future live entertainment here as Truro really does need more going on.

First time at the Old Bakery and what a night! I love it! It is still in the process of being done but this didn't affect my enjoyment of the music and the great atmosphere! A perfect venue for music! I certainly will be back! The James Shead Band in my opinion is one of the best upcoming band of Cornwall and the support on the night who I am afraid I didn't get his name but covered much of the Artic Monkeys catalogue was also a knockout with the crowd. All in all a great night in a venue I have great hopes will become a very popular place to hang out!

They hold jamming sessions for musicians of all ages and abilities once a month.. You can bring your own instruments and get to play in front of an audience. It's only been going for 10 months, & is getting more and more popular. There is a Licensed Bar there, and a little Cafe with seating area aswell. Such a good idea for budding musicians to show everyone their Talent.

It's so refreshing and inspiring to see a venue in Cornwall again that has such a focus on not just putting on live music, but trying to bring bigger artists down past the border! It's been a problem for so long that acts seem uninterested in travelling any further south than Bristol, but OBS are really making the push to change that mindset. Many places, especially in the Truro area, have tried and failed to make a lasting music venue; which makes it all the more promising that OBS isn't just continuing to flourish, but always seems to be developing the area and trying to broaden its horizons. Long may it last!

We had my dad’s wake at The Old Bakery Studios and it was lovely. Everyone was so helpful! The owner let us use their projector to do a slideshow of photographs, the café provided the most delicious food and we had use of the bar too! Fantastic service! 😁
