I've never been to vision express before, but gave it ago as I went to Boots opticians last year in Aberystwyth and had many problems. So I had my appointment at vision express today and it was a fantastic appointment. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very kind. I was greeted with a very warm welcome and my appointment time was very successful. I would recommend vision express in Aberystwyth to anyone. Friendly and happy staff make a happy customer! Five stars.

I visited Vision Express in Aberystwyth recently as there were no appointments at my usual optician. I will no longer be visiting the previous optician since Vision Express were absolutely wonderful! All of the staff are friendly and welcoming and my glasses were ready quite quickly. Upon collecting them I joked about wanting a sticker after reading a very small line of text successfully during fitting and they actually gave me one! What a lovely customer service experience. I will wave through the window every time I walk past in my new snazzy glasses.

Highly recommended! Best place to go to get your eyes tested and get your glasses/contact lenses in Aberystwyth. Friendly and professional staff, especially the super patience lady, that taught me how to put my contact lenses in and take them out (it wasn't easy at all). Many thanks to the optometrist that that recognised a significant problem with my eyes and referred me to hospital when the company across the road that I was a customer for years has never detected it.

I had a potential emergency with my left eye and Vision Express in Aberystwyth responded brilliantly with care and professionalism. I was offered an appointment and felt that although I was a visitor on holiday my situation was given appropriate priority. I was offered a range of tests followed by a thorough examination by the Optician Emily . Thankfully all was well, I am very grateful to the team for their attention and skill, after my appointment I felt both relieved and more informed by the visit.

Had my incredibly thorough eye test by Emily yesterday in the Aberystwyth branch! Was to the first one in 5 yrs because of Covid so was a little apprehensive. She was brilliant and explained everything in great detail in a simple way that was completely understandable The reception by Chris was brilliant, what a lovely charming man! My eye sight had changed quite a bit so needed to purchase good quality glasses. Chris’s advise on choosing glasses I needed was invaluable. I certainly recommend this branch if you need superb service.

Went for an eye test at vision express as my usual optician was making it very difficult to get an appointment.I arrived on time had the test and at no time was I pressurised into buying new glasses all my questions about diabetes, cataracts, and deterioration of my eyesight from last year were answered with confidence and professionalism.the decision about new glasses was left to myself and I will more than likely upgrade in the next few weeks definitely a good days work on both parts

I was seen promptly by the nicest staff. I was treated well the entire time, both during the eye exams and the fittings. No rushing me, no extended period of trying to upsell. Yes, there was a mention of it, but I understand it's part of their job and it was brief and painless. Will make all my future appointments there.

Been for a general eye test/contact trial and then a week later for the actual lenses trial and getting. I struggle with severe anxiety so places like this is a struggle but I felt right at home and comfortable here with the staff! I saw the same two people both times and each time they were just a delight. Honestly can't really wait for the next appointment. Special thank you to the two I saw, Megan and Emily

Lovely atmosphere... after a series of headaches I attended vision express for an eye test. The optician was lovely, efficient and very patient with me. I then went on to purchase some glasses which have saved me from my horrendous migraines I used to suffer with once or more a week. The staff are fantastic! Especially Iona and Lauren who have exceptional customer service skills... and are very patient, informative and efficient from the start of the process to the finish. Even after sending my glasses back to get tweaked slightly the process was quick and easy. I would highly recommend to anyone!

I’m a very happy customer - they looked after me and made sure I was absolutely happy with my glasses before I left; they also asked me to let me know how I was getting on after a couple of weeks so they could make sure everything was ok.

Let me tell you - they are so good that I bought 2 pairs of glasses instead of one which was my initial plan. I went there pretty scared I would be treated the same way as I was at the Specsavers with their unpleasant and unkind staff. Luckily, I met a wonderful gentleman and one nice young lady, and they are so kind, and helpful! They were really fantastic, they helped me to choose the best frames, they checked my diopter, I felt really good and welcomed. First-class service with no doubt!

Brilliant experience. Staff was very friendly, and examination was done with extra care. I would recommend this optician as they are also equipped with latest machinery for the examination. If you have Tesco club card then you will pay only £10, a lot cheap compared to the market price of £30. Thank you once again for providing excellent service

I have been very impressed with all the customer service/sales assistants, Bryony (sorry if I've spelt your name wrong!), Chris and Lauren, and with Dan the Optemerist in the Aberystwyth branch of Vision Express. I do not make a habit of writing a reviews but on the back of my recent experience of the store, it really felt right to give credit where it's due.They have all been consistently helpful, extremely friendly and have assisted me with various things like choosing a style of glasses (which I find frustrating at the best of time as very few styles suit me), answering my many and varied questions through to Lauren swiftly and efficiently organising for my optical voucher to be signed and picked up from a different branch. They all have a natural passion and talent for great customer service.

First time I've needed glasses. Went after realising life was a bit blurry out the one eye.... Met both times I went in with a warm and genuine welcome. The optician (i dont remember any names sorry) was brilliant. Very helpful, and quick. Told me all I needed to know and explained everything because im new to this! The women on the front of the store where also brilliant. When I came in the first (black hair, no glasses) helped me chose a style otherwise i fear i would have been there all day, overwhelmed by all the pairs! She was warm, friendly, had a laugh etc. Today, when I went to collect, again met with a friendly hello as i walked through the door. The woman(different one) was again very helpful, explained everything and really easy to chat to about it. Also I think it was a manager, bloke, he took an interest in what was going on and asked if everything was ok etc. Overall, an absolutely fantastic customer experience at this store, by the two people that served me when i came in, the optician and the (im assuming) manager. They all made my eye test and choosing/shorting my first pair of glasses a really brilliant experience, and a real credit to Vision Express! Thanks guys!
