I needed an emergency eye appointment, and my regular optician could not fit me in. I found this opticians through the emergency appointments website. The service was fantastic. The optician was very thorough, examining and photographing the back of my eyes and explaining what we could see. Consulting with a colleague, the decision was made for me to go to the eye hospital, who were able to sort out the problem (which turned out to be quite serious). The doctor at the eye hospital commended the optician, saying how skilled he was. I received excellent service, and felt very reassured by the competence of the whole practice. Thank you.

I am very impressed with the staff of New Image Opticians. This is my first time carrying out an eye test in a Independent opticians and I am blown away with how much better an independent optician is compared to your High Street Brand of opticians. The staff at New Image devoted alot of time to examine my eyes compared to the time that was devoted in a high street brand. They carried out an in-depth test of my eyes and went above and beyond to explain to me how their test and lens selection works. The optometrist who tested my eyes has been in this profession for decades and it was clear that he was passionate about eye tests. I appreciate thier customer service and will be visiting again for my next test.

I had a mild drama whereby I lost my glasses. I am one of those people that has to wear them all the time for me to actually be able to work, drive and see in general. Every other opticians was telling me even if they saw me today it would be at least 5-10 working days to get them. These guys saw me 2 hours after I called, and in my hour long appointment I had my eye test, picked my new frames and walked out with my new glasses (with my new prescription) on my face. The service is excellent and amazing value for money. The staff are absolutely lovely too.

They are always willing to work with their patients in order to deliver them the best lenses and frames according to their prescription leaving you with no doubt and ensuring you are comfortable before you leave. There prices are very affordable and they have a variety of glasses to choose from and always have new stocks coming through allowing their customers and patients to have a browse . I came here for an eye problem for my father in emergency as nobody else could see me in my area, staff were very friendly, everything was explained to me by Mr Jaffery, and he gave a great advice. Besides, Mr Jafry opened the door for us out of his works hours which I believe is impossible for other opticians. He also offered new frame and ordered glasses. Great thanks. Highly recommended.

I went to this optician today with an emergency. The staff as usual were very pleasant and calm they made me feel a lot more relaxed before checking my eye. The optician explained the problem very clearly both professionaly and with reassurance which put my mind at rest. The lovely young man at the front desk again reassured me as I came out the consultation room. I have used this opticians for a good few years now and have always been treated with an excellent service. Lastly the complimentary tea or coffee and now hot chocolate too is always lovely.

Absolutely amazing experience here. I got an appointment the same day. I felt so welcomed given bottle of ice cold water and ice to feel refreshed in the hot weather. They also welcomed my mom and sister with ice cream and and bottle of ice cold fizzy pop while they were helping me choose my glasses. I also had a 3D eye scan on the back of my eye as my Nan and Grandad recommended me to come here. I recommed this shop to anyone adults and children. Couldn’t of asked for a better experience.

Recently I went visited New Image Opticians after being told by another optician it would cost me in excess in of £250. When I first visited I was welcomed warmly by the members of staff. They have such a wide range of frames and they made my glasses for nearly half the price of the other optician I went to. I've had them for a few weeks and they have made the world of difference. Have never liked having eye tests but then a friend recommended that I try New Image and so I thought I'd give it a go. The optician was absolutely fab, made me feel very comfortable and explained everything so clearly to me and I actually (dare I say) enjoyed having the eye test done. the also optician took pictures of my eyes and showed them to me which I found really interesting. The young lad was also really good at helping me choose the best pair of frames for my prescription.

I came here after years of going to Tesco Opticians. Inside is bright and airy (and cool). The optometrist is very knowledgeable and as my eyes are usually a bit difficult to measure he took some time in doing it all. Also, none of this manual changing of lenses during the test, there's a machine which does it all in fractions of a second! Never seen this before. All the other tests like the pressure test were also done, plus I got to see the photos of the back of my eyes. We discussed that I had high blood pressure which he'd seen from one of the photos. And a bottle of water to take him with me. Awesome. See you next year!
