Really good service from specsavers. I was seen straight away by friendly staff for my initial assessment. I was then seen by Abs the optometrist who did a fantastic eye check, he listened and was very patient. Ruby helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. Thank you 😊

Long wait even though appointment booked. Get shunted from one person to another. Totally overcrowded in there in spite of massive amounts of info in-store and on website about social distancing and keeping everyone safe. Always trying to upsell something

Absolutely incredible service!! I went in today (9/11/21) because the screw holding the lense in the left side of my frames had snapped, the lense was in danger of dropping out. I was seen to by a lovely young lady who took my glasses to repair. About 5/6 minutes later she told me she couldn’t remove the top part of the screw, it was stuck. My heart dropped. I needn’t have worried, I was told they’d just replace the frame, free of charge! My glasses are over 2 years old but there was no hesitation in replacing the frame. It’s no wonder I’ve been a customer of this branch for more years than I can remember! Thank you!

I have worn glasses for more than 20 years starting with just reading glasses and later years having distance glasses as well the last couple of times I’ve had verifocal glasses and was very disappointed in the field vision and the second pair paying extra for the all singing and dancing broad verifocal lenses drove me to distraction when I couldn’t see clearly left or right at road junctions and all parallel lines bent up or down with head tilt. Having discussed this fully with the assistant and optician they selected frame less glasses and bifocal lenses and wow ! The difference, I have a clear, sharp broad field of sight and close up reading is able across the page. I told you my problem and left the choice to you and I’m so pleased not to have eye ache. Good Specsavers the only problem is I feel like I was cajoled into paying for something I didn't need and I stated I didn't want it but yeah it happened anyway. The other staff are lovely like the optician who did my test was lovely and the last who I spoke to when I bought my glasses was so nice I think her name was Mina she's so sweet and freindly

As a former eye surgeon who was concerned about visual fields I was recommended to go here. It was a streamlined process, from registering at the clinic, having visual fields, intraocular pressure testing and OCT (the exact same equipment we had when I worked at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford but only quicker as a process!). I saw the optometrist Ms Aetian shortly after and was impressed with the knowledge demonstrated and was reassured with the diagnosis given . Saved a trip to the eye hospital as a result which would have taken months on the NHS. Happy to have done so

Having experience a loss of one pair of reading glasses and await for VDU glasses in replace of my second pair of reading glasses. I rang and asked for my reading glasses back instead as I coudn't work without them. After serval discussions with members of staff and their call backs. There solution enabled me to collect both pairs within two days. May I thank all involued for all your help. Also for your understanding of me not wanting to enter the shop, due to my foster son awaiting his COVID test.

Very average experience. People seemed too busy in their own and were unconcerned of customers presence.Although cant say for all but generally was the case. Had quite a bit of range of glasses .

The service was excellent. I booked an appointment on line on the same day. Arrived early but was seen immediately. Laura and Donna helped me choose two pairs of glasses , going the extra mile to ensure I was completely happy with my choice. The eye test was very thorough and I opted for the new scan. Once again every thing was explained clearly to me including seeing a 3d picture of both eyes. Glasses ready in 1 week. Again excellent service all round.

Had appointment at 9.40 got there early and the service was prompt. I had the eye test early and the result explained to me. Vast array of glasses to choose from with a price range to suit everyone. If you don't like anything on the day come away with your prescription and look online. All in all a good experience.

Went with mom they was very nice, gentle, had patience with her, spoke to her very nice easy to understand, kept asking my mom if she was OK, told her everything what they was going to do and why they was doing it. I have been using this Opticians for years. The optician here was the first to pick up my glaucoma. The selection of frames is great and very competitive and the staff can't do enough for you. Service is consistently excellent.

The lady who give me the eye test,she was fab,attentive,measuring. I had problems with the floor staff,they wernt helpful,couldnt be bothered..i didnt get her name,and as they all were hijab who could i know who served me,im going there agai,if same,ill take my work else were. Disappointed that I had to wait a week for an eye test even when I explained that my glasses were broken but when I went for the test the service was excellent can't fault it didn't have to wait long for my eye test and even got my glasses in an hour because they had my lenses in store.
