I requested an appointment to have an early assessment of my post-surgery recuperation - just to get some reassurance that all was progressing as planned. Amazing to get an appointment within 24 hours. Following a series of thorough tests and a formal consultation all has been confirmed as great progress and the clear explanation of the results provided very positive reassurance. Everybody at Optical Express in Bournemouth has been extremely kind and helpful. Having so much support really makes the difference. I am also very impressed by the fact that they didn't forget about me the moment they've got my money as it's often the case with less professional companies: since I had my surgery (6 weeks ago) I have already had 3 follow ups and will get another check up in 2 month time, everytime I have been given free eye drops (the expensive ones, preservative free as I have sensitive eyes) and I am free to get I touch with them in case of any problem. I am really pleased with the surgery and the service received so far, as they far exceeded my expectations. Big Thumb Up for all the team at Bournemouth Optical Express!

Excellent service and what a difference in my eyesight, had a very bad cataract in my left eye and the beginning of another in my right eye, went in for lens replacement very quick and painless procedure. Cant recommend highly enough, well worth the cost. Just had my final eye check up and all good so i am now discharged, Thanks again Optical express

Amazing and fast service from start to finish. I made an enquiry and was contacted straight away, consultation within days, and now surgery booked within a month. Something I have wanted to do for nearly 20 years but always put off was actually so simple and the staff were kind and caring.

I went into Optical Express for a consultation for laser eye surgery and found the staff working there very friendly. There was no pushy sales speech. I had many questions and I felt those were answered very well for me. I have had Natural Lens Replacement surgery back in July 2018 and had my final check up yesterday at Bournemouth which has been my after surgery care centre. I am absolutely delighted with the results of the surgery, however, i must mention the 'after care' at Bournemouth. It has been really good. Regular examinations and monitoring the health of my eyes has been amazing and extremely attentive. The only bad news is that Sue, one of the girls in Bournemouth is leaving! However, Katrina will still be there and is also very efficient. A special mention also to Mark, the optometrist, whose dedication to the monitoring and health of my eyes was immense. Due to the inability of the NHS to provide my wife Pauline the care we expected for her cataracts, with great reservation we decided to go private. Those fears we found were totally unfounded as the service and the care provided by Optical Express was beyond our wildest dreams. From the fantastic service at the Bournemouth Offices together with much courtesy, coffee, information and reassurance to the incredible service at the Bristol Clinic on the day of the first operation. Usually I receive 100% service but today there appeared to be problems with bookings. One woman seemed to think she had an appointment but it was not recognized, another man was told his appointment was next week. I was due in at 16.50 but the woman who arrived (after me) with no apparent appointment went in ahead of me, I was a bit miffed.
