Lovely friendly staff that put you at ease. They are keen to ensure you are not only comfortable but also happy at every stage. Everyone in my household comes here and we all find their service excellent. Had my routine eye test again today and even though the computers were intermittently down they were still smiling, still professional and still lovely. What more can you ask?

I thought I'd already posted a glowing review for Scrivens - I should have done ages ago as the super friendly staff and excellent customer service makes me feel so at ease & welcomed! The staff always have a smile on their faces and do their very best to ensure that you're comfortable and attended to - it helps so much for someone with social anxiety, like me! :) Since finding their lil store in Winton a few years ago, I've never gone anywhere else for my glasses, and I've also encouraged my mum and boyfriend to go there after having so much trouble with Specsavers. Scrivens will always have my loyalty and business! :D

Only place to go. Super branch The new manager is really nice and helpful Kristina is outstanding. So pleasant, warm and friendly. They go over and beyond to ensure everything is right and you are happy. A million times better than Specsavers. Don't go anywhere else 😊😊😊

Never had anything other than great experiences here! The staff are fantastic, so welcoming and always do everything they can to help! Also great with children, my 5 year old was very nervous, now wants an eye test every time we pass! Great selection of frames too. By far the best opticians I have been to!

Appointment only during lockdown with socially distanced waiting area. During the appointment, they were happy to explain what each part of the eye test was for and what conditions affect the eyes 😊

Very lovely opticians, they are happy to talk with you about what might be causing eye pain, and if you get a prescription they will happily help you choose the right glasses for you. You can usually get an appointment fairly quickly

My passion is genuine antique frames. I bought a pair of 1920s - 1930s glasses on ebay. Specsavers wouldn't fit new lenses, saying they were too old and could be fragile. Yet Scrivens did the job, no worries. I'm going to mark them No1 on my list.
