R. B.Great experience, managed to get a last minute appointment, everyone in there was really friendly and helpful. Eye exam was really comprehensive and the optometrist was great. Got my glasses in under a week and they fit perfectly, service was great on pick up also! Highly recommend.
D. J.I can't fault the staff and service that I received at the Brighton branch of Cubitts. From the first moment of walking into the store to when I finally walked out with my first pair of glasses it was such a great and memorable experience. I went and got my eye test/prescription done at Specsavers, something I would fully recommend against. They gave me an incorrect prescription which I found out when I went and got my glasses from Cubitts. The Cubitts' staff were so supportive and actually talked me through my prescription and what could be wrong. After another eye test, this one done so much more thoroughly by the amazing optometrist at Cubitts, I had a new prescrition and a pair of glasses that didn't make me feel ill and actually allowed me to see properly for the first time in a long time! The staff are a credit to the company and I would (and do) fully recommend Cubitts to anyone looking for some new glasses.
I haven't even mentioned the actual glasses in this review yet but they are great. The range they offer (in all different shapes, sizes and colours) almost guarantees finding exactly what you are looking for.
Before needing glasses I had walked past this store so many times, thinking it looked 'posh' for an opticians but it is not expensive at all and so so much better than the standard high shops.
There is complete night and day between a shop like Cubitts and a high street chain. I can't see anyone being disappointed by chosing Cubitts.

J. S.By far the best experience of an eye exam and buying new glasses that I have ever had. Everyone was very professional and incredibly friendly. The service and experience was so good I expected the cost to be high but I paid less than expected. They also offer different colours and sizes unlike the majority of competitors.
S.Amazing. Understood what I was looking for and recommended the perfect frames for me. Great optician who did a great and in-depth eye exam. And quick service - my frames with my prescription were ready in six days. I am super impressed and now recommend them to everyone I know.
D. F.Lovely Staff but being let down. So far I've had form Cubitts Brighton;
. an eye test - amazing, super clear and very helpful
. existing frames updated with new lenses - as expensive as a brand new pair, lenses popped out and had to be replaced twice, also took over the 7-10 working days and never got an email to tell me they were in when first ordered
. updated my existing sunglasses with prescription lenses. Super happy to hear it only costs £50. Diarised the 10th working day due to the previous experience. Still not there when I turned up to collect with no message to warn me and save a trip. Said they'd call the lab and get back to me, no call so popped in today and still not ready.
. second pair of glasses, am left with zero confidence that they will be with me on time, that I will be contacted and have my expectations managed or that the quality will be good as per my previous experience (to be fair to them my original frames aren't something they carry any more).
SUCH a shame as I really like the brand and the team in Brighton are nice.

R.I want to thank the Cubitts Brighton staff for their kindness to my daughter who has recently had an eye test, chosen frames and had them fitted, she needs extra support/time and they made sure that she was made to feel valued as a customer. I especially want to thank Amy, who made the process very clear. We have all now bought Cubitts glasses and sunglasses and I couldn't recommend the store highly enough, the service has been excellent! It is very much appreciated, as we all have the choice to spend our money in so many businesses, the personal touch makes all the difference.
O. S.Went in to the store to get a new pair of sunglasses and to have my eyes tested. The lovely optician noticed that my previous prescription might have been too strong and amended for me. Haven’t had any headaches since. The staff in store are absolutely lovely and so knowledgable, don’t know anyone couldn’t give 5 stars. So happy.
E. W.I visited this store after spending months on their website unable to decide what I wanted - figured I’d go and try them on! The staff were SO helpful and patient with me as I changed my mind quite a few times. They advised in what would suit me best and what would be most practical also. The delivery was to store so that they could fit them for me, again that experience (around a week after purchase) was really pleasant. Both my mum and two of my friends have bought frames from here since because I can’t stop raving about them! Yes, they are more expensive than other brands but the quality is 10/10, and the customer service is amazing too. Will definitely be buying from here again when I get bored of my current frames!

J. s.I needed a routine eye test and decided to try Cubitts because the frames looked really nice and its local to me. It was hands down the best optician experience I've ever had - I was a little apprehensive about going for a test during lockdown (but had already left it a little too long) but the care from this place was amazing. The optician conducting the test was kind, friendly and made sure I understood everything that was happening. It was very thorough and I was listened to about all my history and concerns. I was also able to keep my mask on for the entire test, as did all the staff. The shop area is also fairly large if theres only you and the staff their so all felt very safe. The range of frames and styles is great and I really like the clear pricing structure (and it wasn't super expensive!). I really couldn't fault the experience. I'm really happy with my new frames but honestly I am just blown away by how great the experience was - highly recommend Cubitts Brighton for their excellent staff, cool frames and clear prices.

Great service and nothing to put me off going the next time I remember to get tested. And, the glasses I bought were exchanged without quibble at a different store (Borough) when I had a minor issue with them. Value and quality.
