I popped by Saturday to pick up some daily lenses and was just browsing the glasses as I always do when I pop in. Usually I become overwhelmed after trying some pairs on and then leave empty handed. On Saturday a lovely member of staff, whom it turned out was called Peter Armstrong?came and offered assistance. He was super knowledgeable and helped me make a decision, with the style advice of my daughter who was also in tow. I left feeling that I'd got exactly what I needed and without getting flustered. He chatted to us and made the process so smooth, explaining his rationale on the choices he was offering. A fantastic service.

I called into the local Specsavers in Brighton North Street for an emergency whilst away on a long weekend in Brighton with friends, because my ONLY pair of glasses I had with me, broke and shattered in a freak accident the night before. I was helped by really nice, helpful and knowledgeable optician called Peter who advised me if I still had my existing lens undamaged he would be able to source a replacement pair of frames to fit my old lenses. Well, he made my day, he found a similar pair of frames to fit my existing varifocal lenses and I was able to see the rest of Brighton, enjoy my stay and drive home the next day! Once again thank you Peter (Armstrong, I think) for your great knowledge and experience as an optician. Thank you for a fantastic service.

I have used Specsavers for years and have never been disappointed. I have a complex prescription and I'm getting older so I'm not an 'easy' customer as in my assessments are a bit more in depth than other peoples I have contact lenses and glasses and have never had a complaint or issue about the quality of my consultation or the products that I'm prescribed. I highly recommend Specsavers and have faith in their ability to look after me and my family's eyes.

Impeccable service. I've been here twice now for new glasses. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and given the current Covid situation, the service feels more like you have a personal shopper with you. I'm sorry I never got names to mention them personally, but i could not fault any of my experience from the eyetest to the purchase of the frames. I can not recommend this place enough.

Bit too sleazy for my liking, getting upsold before you leave without realizing that the free pair of glasses has now tallied your bill, Glasses did not help me and was able to use the 3 months guarantee to my advantage. My overall expierence however tells me come here for the test and go get the glasses online without the upselling for 1/3 of the price.

Cannot Fault Specsavers Brighton North St, for the hearing test and actually fitting of hearing aids on the same day, for my 82 years young Mum. The process was handled brilliantly from start to finish, but actually most of my praise goes to Richard the audiologist, well that’s what I’m calling him. He was brilliant, explained everything in detail, kind, Caring, and took us through all the details and tests involved. Richard you are a credit to Specsavers, and I and my Mother really appreciate the time you took to Explain everything to my Mother that couldn’t hear, and also to me, in such a professional friendly way. 10 out of 10. Thank you Specsavers to Manage this under Difficult Covid circumstances.

Great customer service, and a very broad range of prescription glasses frames. Raquel was friendly, patient, and made sure that I was provided with the best frame to suit my lenses/prisms. The golden ticket I received when picking up my glasses was a nice surprise and allowed me to get a fair discount on my prescription sunglasses. Definitely recommend it!

Very thorough, eye test for both my Wife & myself was free, worth paying a tenner each for the new CT scan. All of the staff were helpful & not 'pushy' when it was time to pick frames etc. The whole experiance was very professional.

Could not have been more friendly and helpful. My reading glasses lost a screw and consequently a lens dropped out, a nice young gentleman fixed this for no charge, and helped me find some suitable lens wipes I was after. If you read this, thanks again for being so helpful! :-)

This was very busy, but they gave my mother a most thorough health check for her eyes and identified a problem. You have to pay £25 for the health check and it isn't the standard eye test, but it was much better than waiting in casualty! Pleasant staff.

Above all, Suzanna, who took charge of sorting out immediate remedy and managed to get me lenses the same day, was highly competent and extremely helpful. I would like to leave my feedback as I think that staff at Specsavers have always been very helpful every time I visited them. I had trouble adapting my new glasses prescription and so had to request a review. I was offered a free eye test and the optician who saw me was very patient and explained things to me in a very clear way while doing the eye test. I was particularly pleased for the assistance received from a lady called Raquel as she patiently took her time to double check all details on the system, run further tests and advise me on which glasses to use, especially if I need to drive. She has also given me a few options and let me make a decision- which was very good as I did not feel like I was being pushed to purchase another pair of glasses. I left Specsavers yesterday feeling much happier and clear about the issues with my pair of glasses. Thank you so very much for your assistance.

I bought a pair of glasses from another optician in Brighton – an awful experience! – and dropped them whilst shopping, so I came into this Specsavers as it was nearby. It was very crowded in there (it was Saturday) and initially I was concerned about how long it would take. There seemed to be too few staff for the footfall, but all the staff I interacted with were great and were doing their best under the circumstances. The manager, Suzanna, greeted me warmly and assured me that my glasses could be fixed and put me at my ease. She made sure I was kept informed of wait times and after only 20 minutes guided me to a member of her team, a young girl with glasses who did an excellent job adjusting my glasses. Despite seeming to have a lot of tasks to do, Suzanna ensured she was on hand to give guidance to the young lady who was helping me when it was needed, despite how busy it was and how short-staffed they were. It’s very rare to find someone who doesn’t get flustered and let such a situation turn into chaos. I’ll certainly be coming back.

I broke my glasses, and was in desperate need of a new pair. The woman who helped me to pick out my new glasses was super helpful and friendly, and I had my new glasses within a week (which was fast considering I have quite a strong prescription which they didn't have any pre-made lenses of at their labs). Overall, I highly recommend Specsavers. On terms of their prices, it's one of those things that you can spend as little or as much as you like on them, depending on the coatings, etc, you want. Ultimately, I found their prices to be more than reasonable.

Somewhat disappointed ! Have got my glasses there for several years and service has been excellent. Returned today as two pairs (about six months old) had problems with the plastic nose rests and they needed changing. Informed Specsavers no longer repair this type of glasses as the rests are screwed on. Went next door to Eyesite where they replaced all the plastic nose rests for me , quoted £3 a pair yet when I returned within an hour to pick them up said - no charge. So Specsavers cannot rectify problems with glasses still under guarantee but their competitor will sort out their issues for them and do it free of charge. Guess where I am going for my next eyetest.

Been a customer of Specsavers for many years and have wore contact lenses for 13 years.. Staff always seem friendly and helpful. Was informed of where I can privately buy lens pots which they discontinued as the companies new design is useless for those with larger hands.. Bit like trying to get a T Rex to make a bed.. I'm sure your get the picture.. Store always clean and tidy and flows nicely. My optician is excellent in his job and having bought my partner here recently after suffering serve headaches and nausea, the staff identified an eye issue which required squint surgery.. Amazing service and trust them 100% with my sight.

The glasses I bought from Brighton store fell apart after 2days they were repaired but became loose and fell off after few days , having said this the eye test and staff were very good , but Simon was the only member of staff in Brighton store to tell me the frames I had chosen would never be ok for my lenses , and was extremely helpful in choosing the correct frames ,in the end I had new lenses and frames ,I would like to thank Simon for recognising the problem which I should have been told when choosing! Also staff member Perry , so glad I kept my old glasses to wear in last month will this is sorted .
