Not only is the service impeccable, the after care is outstanding. I purchased an amazing frame and lens combination, however the first attempt wasn't quite right. But with their amazing service I was able to get the prescription altered slightly to make my glasses absolutely perfect i can't recommend these guys enough. . Its rare these days to have such attentive and caring service, I thought it best that I shout from the roof tops about it. Thanks so much Specky Wrens

Very friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend if in the area and want someone to give you a hand picking out some glasses. All staff very knowledgeable, making for a great experience! Also love their use of a remote control truck to deliver glasses from a distance!

I haven't yet attended an eye exam at the The Specky Wren, but I am already so impressed with the exceptional level of care they take towards their customers. The Specky Wren were concerned with some symptoms I'd reported when booking in with them online. They took the time to make sure they contacted me, and also to check in with how I was doing after getting checked out. Over the phone they were friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. I was so impressed with the professionalism and level of care. Thankfully everything seems fine and I am now looking forward to booking in properly at the Speccy Wren.

Update: Went back for my check up and eye health test. Again excellent test, along with very friendly and helpful staff. Good range of frames and plenty i liked in the sale. Also a 25% discount on other purchases within three months. I haven't worn glasses in a long time, even though I should have been. I went in for an eye test at Specky Wren knowing I needed glasses. I thought both David and Marco were very nice people. Marco explained a lot during the eye test; explaining and examining the health of my eyes as well as determining the prescription I needed. After both Marco and David helped me find the glasses which suited me and Im very happy with them since picking them up. They were a little uncomfortable on my nose after wearing them for a full day but after ringing to tell them David told me to come in anytime the next day. I did that and he adjusted them straight away and since they are a perfect fit as well as helping me being able to see properly again! Nice people, great and friendly customer service and a good product. Would highly recommend.

Just picked up my new glasses today and they are fab. All the staff here are really lovely and friendly people. The lady that gave me my eye test took a long time to make sure it was perfect (basically all astigmatism for me so a pain!). They have a great range of frames and were very patient whilst I was super picky in picking a new style. They then ordered me in the frames I liked in my preferred colour. Every step of the process from joining them, eye test, frame picking and ordering and then picking up was great. I'll definitely be recommending them to those of my friends who are spectacular spectacle wearers :) Thanks!

Was recommended by a friend who in her turn had been recommended so felt pretty safe in trying them out!! And I am so pleased with the entire experience. From the detailed questioning with David at the outset then into the inner chamber with Marco and the tests done. I have had many of these over the years but Marco has to be given the gold star for his care and attention. He was so much more than a tech man I felt at the end of the exam I had made a friend. And ever since to the glasses arriving and being fitted (just fabulous glasses by the way. For the first time ever, people actually commented on them - positively!) I took my 7 and 8 year old boys here for their eye tests. They can be a bit of a handful but the Specky Wren guys were brilliant with them. I was so impressed with them that I used them to buy some reading glasses for me. They have some really cool frames for adults and kids. I totally recommend them.

This Opticians is brilliant - the best 'optical' experience I've ever had! Specky Wren have an amazing choice of frames, you won't see the diversity, style or range anywhere else. The place itself is stylish and cool (without being exclusive) and they put the frames at centre stage of the decor. But the main thing they excell at is customer service. I received a thorough eye examination with each element explained, a place for the kids to play during the examination and the expert team really took time to help me choose the right frames. Their knowledge of the styles was invaluable and helped me get to a decision easily. It's unusual to find a place that has a serious job to do but performs it with style, friendliness and expertise. Other businesses should follow their example.

Superb friendly service. Very thorough and unrushed eye testing. When I arrived to collect and have my glasses fitted they were super busy but the young lady that served me realised that I was getting anxious due to the noise and my ADD and took me to a side room where it was much less noisy which helped me to relax. These guy's are awsome from start to finish i cannot recommend them enough.

If you want a great hassle free shopping experience in informal comfortable surroundings, with people who actually listen to you and then advise the best solution to fit your pocket , this is the place. Marco and David are really friendly and not out to rip you off, they have a great range of spectacles to suit any budget. I would suggest you go to this place...you won't regret it. They will have my repeat business in the future, I will not be visiting a well known high street production line opticians again !!!

Stood on and broke the rim on my glasses, an emergency as only visiting Brighton and couldn't drive. Went to other Opticians but they would only send the glasses off, the Specky Wren fixed and cleaned them in an hour and refused to take a fee for the repair. Excelllent service thank you.

Specky Wren is run by two great chaps, formerly of Bromptons, who are helpful, friendly and have great taste. With their great selection of eyewear, they are bringing style and panache to the up and coming London Road area. Soon every bespectacled hipster will be swooshing past you wearing one of Specky Wren's gorgeous specs. Reasonably priced and lots of choice. Everyone always comments on my lovely glasses and I can happily point them in the direction of the Specky Wren.
