I have had consistently excellent service at Ace and Tate! From the first time I entered the store, I was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable. Amy was a great help when I was unsure on which frames to use and the free eye test was the most thorough and professional I have experienced. I later had a slight issue with the frames I chose and Amy went above and beyond to sort out the issue and did so seamlessly. I highly recommend Ace and Tate - excellent style with commendable service.

Rachel was incredibly helpful in their Bristol Park Street store. I even wanted to add a blue filter option for my glasses and afterwards I decided to cancel it. She was really understanding and helpful - I specifically wanted to thank her for her professionalism. She definitely knows what she is doing. I have never experienced this type of service and experience before, felt myself very special! Thanks for everything!!

I was served today by two people. Unfortunately I didnt get there names however it was a top class service. The very kind girl on the shop floor took her time to talk through different frames and gave me honest feedback on what suited me. The optician was also very good and relaxed and provided a good experience all round. Recommend Ace and Tate highly, especially the Park street shop. Thanks for your help today guys!!!

I stopped in to Ace & Tate on a whim and I was blown away by the lovely staff and equally lovely selection of eyewear. I was particularly impressed with Shaun as he was incredibly attentive and helpful and went out of his way to write down the styles I liked most and pricing for each and he's exactly the type of person you want on your staff and certainly deserves a pay raise :) Thanks again for the lovely service

Lovely shop....very nice staff...problem is you wont ever get your glasses. I have used a few retailers and these guys are definately the slowest company I have ever experienced when waiting for 1 pair of glasses. I ordered mine on the 7th June. Still no sign of anything Update: glasses all recieved and they gave me a free hard case and cleaning kit with bag as an apology. Iv raised to 5 stars. Highly recommended. Glasses look stunning

As a first time glasses wearer I was a bit apprehensive about trying to find frames to suit my face, but the staff at Ace & Tate were fantastic at every stage from the initial eye test all the way through to getting the frames fitted. The shop floor staff gave great advice and were friendly and attentive even when having to juggle multiple customers at once. Would highly recommend!

Visited the Bristol store today as a walk in. I’d never heard of Ace and Tate. Excellent range to choose from, so many styles I liked and at a great price point, no fancy add one cost wise. Left with specs on order and a couple of pairs of sunglasses in my minds eye for my next visit. Excellent customer service from all the team, especially Chanel.

Called in to try some frames and the staff were super helpful in picking out some options, I'd forgotten my prescription so we arranged this via email, glasses were posted out and with me within a week! Great service all around and significantly cheaper than designer frames, they feel really good quality and very happy with them - already looking at the sunglasses!

These are my new go to opticians,, I'd recommend them to anyone. I love my new glasses and they are really affordable. I had an issue with my prescription (which I got from a different optician) and they replaced my glasses free of charge. Helpful, friendly and reasonably priced.

The best, warmest service you'll ever receive. Every member of staff here have been amongst the kindest (not to mention trendiest) people I've ever met. The store is impeccably presented, looking almost intimidatingly exclusive but the staff here make buying glasses a true pleasure. And I was stunned to realise quite how affordable it was particularly given how lovely the frames are. They offer free professional eye tests and same day service on some styles. I love my new glasses. I will absolutely be buying here again very soon.

I had a great experience from eye test to delivery of my glasses, despite raising the average age of customers by some considerable margin. The eye test was throrough and professional and there was absolutely no hard sell to purchase from Ace & Tate, despite the test being offered free. Good range of frames with a clear pricing structure and delighted with the finished prouct, which was delivered in good time. Staff seemed really attentive to detail and making sure they were a good fit (there's a 30-day return policy even if they are not). The glasses are light and really comfrortable to wear. Will defintely go back in future.

I've had sore eyes for years - thought nothing of it until the optician at Ace & Tate diagnosed the problem. No other optician has spotted this or put the time in to check for it! I broke my glasses the evening before so I was desperate for a new pair so...I booked a same day eye test for 17.25 at 16.00, I turned up at 17.15, and walked out just before 18.00 with a loan pair of glasses to bridge the gap between then and when they could get my actual prescription lenses back. The prescription being ever so slightly out, but enough for them to have to send away for it. Excellent customer service; honestly startled they could turn that all around in that time. I was expecting to wait a few days for the new pair and was even going to pay the extra £20 for same day collection (would’ve collected the next day), so walking out with a brand new pair within 45 minutes of having an eye test (which was free!) and that close to closing time, was amazing. They took the time to set the loan pair of glasses up for me which for was very important as my ears are all over the place! I can’t remember specific staff names but the optician and the manager that evening were fantastic! Having worked in retail for 15 years, it was everything I wanted out of an experience. 👍🏻 TLDR; buy your glasses from here, they’re ace, I felt really cared for and looked after.

Recently visited my nearest Ace & Tate for a last minute eye test and some new frames after breaking my current pair and frantically searching online in a mad panic. I was pleased to be able to get an appointment for later the same day, and upon my arrival i was greeted at the door by an extremely helpful and polite member of staff who talked me through the pricing (which is fantastic by the way) she then proceeded to help me choose a new pair as I'm incredible indecisive when it comes to to the first thing people see when looking at me, & within 5 minutes i had chosen and was 99% confident in my choice. Normally takes me several days of umming and ahhing. The design of the stores is swanky and makes you wonder how other mainstream highstreet chains can charge you the money they do, to sit in some worn chairs and look at patterned carpets. The optician i saw was extremely polite from the get go and walked over to greet me and shake my hand rather than just shouting my name out. During the exam he payed an incredible amount of detail to what he was doing and talked me through everything he did which i thought was fantastic as im always intrigued to learn knew things, he also took the time to explain the results of images etc along the way. After saying that i had broken my glasses just a few hours before and that i was pretty certain i shouldn't have driven without them, he said that my particular prescription requirements were to severe to have the same day service, and would need to come from Amsterdam (always the case no matter which opticians i use), and then proceeded to go above and beyond to make sure that i had some glasses that may not be perfect but that would make me legal to drive in the meantime while my correct prescription was being made. 20 minutes later and i had a new pair of stylish glasses to wear and be able to drive safely in, and even though the prescription is compromised while i await the correct pair, I'm almost certain that its actually better than my old prescription from a highstreet retailer after a 5 minute eye test by someone that didn't come across as particularly enjoying their job. I've also spotted that they a 5 star rating on google off the back of great reviews which these days when there's no pleasing everyone is pretty impressive im my opinion, i hope someone at HQ reads these and you all get the recognition you deserve. This is deffinitly the longest and most rewarding review I've ever given and i almost never give reviews 😂
