I have had problems with my eyesight and contact lenses for a couple of years, my previous opticians could not find the problem. One very thorough eye test with Andrew, a new and very different precription and my sight hasn't been this good for many years. Very happy and highly recommend this opticians.

Andrew is a professional in his field of looking after peoples eyes. I had bleeds behind my eye and he did the relevant tests and images to show and explain what had gone on and the possible reasons why.I recently saw Andrew as my eye had become blurred and I was frightened that I had another bleed, however Andrew did all the tests to reassure me that I had not but there was an apparent problem with which he referred me to my Dr. Andrew is genuine and has a fantastic bedside manner which puts you at ease and fills me with confidence as he knows his job inside out. The three ladies that work with Andrew are also very professional in their own field and will bend over backwards to make you relaxed and are very accommodating. I trust Andrew and staff and I am very grateful that they are in Shirehampton to help me.

Went to this practice as I have some complex eye issues and wanted something better than the ubiquitous chains. The service I got was first rate, friendly and economical. A very thorough eye examination and discussion of the findings. No pressure to buy expensive designer frames, but a sensible price for some new glasses. Very nice people!

Professional Service from Mr Pinn and his amazing staff that go the extra mile for their patients. It was Mr Pinn's diligence that diagnosed age related macula degeneration early. As a result the Bristol eye Hospital gave treatment in time to prevent it spreading and saving the sight in my left eye. You don't get this level of care from a budget chain opticians. Steve C

Just had a eye test there. First in years so I can't compare and contrast to previous tests, however, I found them polite and professional throughout. The test itself took over a hour! So would say thorough? Certainly felt like I was in good hands. Talked me over and explained the results. Made some recommendations health wise etc based on those results. I could have got frames cheaper on line but was so impressed with the service I decided buy them there and then and save the faff? Satisfied customer. Post script. Gotta say glasses aren't perfect for me. Its now April, test was Jan can I take back? Re test? Refund? Thats something I dont remember them telling me?

I've been using Andrew Pinn Optometrist for 8 years now and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! The staff are always very friendly and welcoming, which makes booking appointments very straightforward. Andrew Pinn himself is extremely professional and explains everything very simply so I always fully understand the results of my eye tests. As for his range of glasses and contact lenses, they always seems to have the perfect pair for me and everything is reasonably priced. Has to be one of Bristol’s best!

Forget specsavers, vision express if you want the best for your eyes visit Andrew Pinn. I was sold glasses specsavers two years earlier, a friend recommended Andrew Pinn and after a very though eye test I was told my eyes sight meets the standard driving and that glasses will make no difference. I wont ever go back to the larger companies.

Been going here since I was a child and now my children see him as well. His is level of detail and knowledge is incredible. Frames and lenses are probably a bit more pricey than the high street chains but you really do get what you pay for.
