The team in Colchester were very polite and helpful. My appointment was on time and very thorough. The optician was excellent talking me through everything and even took extra scans and explaining to me the condition of my sight. I felt very well looked after and can only praise the professionalism of everyone there. I didn’t realise how much my eyesight had deteriorated until I looked through the recommended lenses during the examination. A big thank you to the Colchester team and I’m looking forward to my new glasses.

My test with the Optometrist Vic was very good indeed he was professional and knowledgeable and very reassuring. My new prescription spectacles were ready earlier than expected. Very good this time. I did find your customer service during the pandemic was very poor. I'm a radiographer and worked through it so I was disappointed to have a number of cancellations. I am pleased to see that the business seems back to normal now.

Actual test and trying on glasses were fine. However, we arrived the first time to be told that our tests were being cancelled due to an optician not coming in that day. The second attempt my Mum's appointment was 40 minutes late as they had double booked. Haven't got glasses yet but a good range to choose from and helpful staff in selecting.

I liked how courteous the reception was, I had missed my appointment by 40mins and "receptionist" was kind enough to find out from the Drs on duty if I could be attended to. It really warmed my heart. The Dr was very detailed with the information regarding my eye health. His many prompts on if I had any questions made me at ease to open up about my challenges and concerns. This was my second time using Vision Express and I'm very glad I did.

I visited vision express yesterday for an eye test. I arrived on time and was dealt with at the reception desk efficiently. I had the pre check with a lovely member of the team and then a good eye test with a young optician. He was very chilled and nice and made me feel relaxed through the process talking to me about the process and how my eyes looked. I had to get new prescription reading glasses so the after service was excellent and I made a good choice. You can choose if you want to buy there or wait and buy somewhere else but I chose to buy in house and get it done. The overall service was excellent, efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.
