If you haven’t done before, go to a local independent opticians. Here the optometrist was very thorough and gave great explanations of different options available to me. The staff are all so friendly and personable, nothing is ever a trouble - even an instant fix to my glasses after running over them!

I have been a customer here for nearly 30 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. My latest appointment with Mr Bansal was excellent. I have very poor eyesight and he really took the time to make sure my prescription was just right. He was very thorough going through my medical history and products I was using for an eye condition. Time was never an issue and I didn't feel rushed. The assistant who took me through my choice of frames was an angel and very patient as I am indecisive at the best of times. She also made a suggestion I had never thought of for seeing how the frames looked on me. I know they are probably more expensive than the chain opticians but cost isn't important to me. My eyesight is and I wouldn't trust any other company to look after me as well as Eyetech does. Thank you all so much.

I decided to try EYETECH as I have a highly complex prescription which involves shortsighted, astigmatism and prisms. I had tried other opticians however there was always a compromise with the final pair of glasses, with the excuse that my prescription was complex. I did some research online and came across EYETECH. The website was clear and informative and I made my first appointment. My first consultation was so thorough which consisted of images takes to assess the health of my eyes. This was painless and fascinating to see as Dr Dave went though the images with me . We then had a discussion and he really listened to me and we explored my options. The final result is a pair of stylish modern bifocal glasses. A beautiful frame, thin lenses and best of all crystal clear vision both long site and for reading all in one pair. I am so pleased, at last at 60 years old I have the best glasses I feel I could have. I found Dr Dave and the team there were truly professional, patient and friendly. Everything was explained to me and I felt they had my best interest at heart. Thank you all so much.

I have nothing but praise for this company, I recently had a problem with a pair of glasses which I had purchased 17 months prior, Upon phoning them I was invited to drop by and have the issue fixed at no charge and without delay, the glasses were sorted within an hour of the phone call.
