I can only praise the staff at Vision Express , Tescos, Dragon Lane. I dealt with all 4 staff members on my visit and each one of them was extremely helpful, explaining the procedures, products and options in detail. Taking the time to find out about what I needed and how I used my glasses. They were all efficient and very professional in how they engaged with me, making the whole experience very easy and relaxed. I was also very impressed in how one staff member dealt with a teenage lad who was having contact lenses. She was very patient and kind, boosting his confidence and explaining that he would just need to practice and take his time. I want to thank the staff for all their help.

Called in on off chance to ask for a bit of advice, The ladies I spoke to were lovely and managed to get me a cancellation appointment for same day. I was instantly put at ease. Had eye test and ordered glasses. Very professional and caring. Would definitely recommend.

Called yesterday to the Durham branch within Tesco after visiting another retailer for my eye test last week. The staff there were amazing, the racks of glasses are locked to controlled cleaning but unlocked for each customer. I was able to try unlimited pairs on the understanding that once I had tried them, they would be placed in a tray to be cleaned once I was finished. They then left me to it to reduce 20 pairs down to a final 3, at which point two advisors came over separately and gave me their opinions....this is how I like to buy glasses and the staff made it a positive experience, as well as great products and a fantastic deal on price...thanks VE@Tesco

Vision Express tested my wife's eyes while I waited for her. They were fully booked for weeks but managed to squeeze her in as the eye test was required from a doctor. Afterwards she said she was very satisfied with their service. I am writing on her behalf as English is not her first language and I'm translating what she said.

I go to the branch inside Tesco at Gilesgate in Durham. The staff here are absolutely fab, I am a torment as a customer because I keep either losing it breaking my glasses. I love that they don't try to oversell or push you into anything; they tell you if there's a cheaper or better option.
