I attended for an emergency eye consultation following an accident at work where some plastic had got lodged in my eye. From entering the store the customer advisers were polite and helpful and made me feel at ease. The optician, Sophie, was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and successfully recovered little bits of plastic from my eye, completely alleviating all pain. I received follow up care and the whole experience was great. I came for an eye test and received great customer service; from the initial health test to the actual eye test, the staff was very attentive and friendly. I brought my four month old son who became slightly unsettled towards the end and so I asked the member of staff (I missed to ask for her name) to hold him whilst I carried out the last part of my test - he was sick all over her lovely blouse but she took it with a smile. As a new mum I appreciated her understanding which ultimately made me feel relaxed and at ease.

Very welcoming staff, good atmosphere in the shop warm and friendly, very attentive at all times. The appointment was explained fully by Nikita who reassured me at all times what the pre-tests involved and what they were for. When choosing glasses Nikita advised me what was best for me as I work on a computer all day, She was very professional and knowledgable and is a asset to your company. I would also like to comment on other members of staff who were all very friendly and made myself and my disabled mum feel very welcome in the shop. The optom Judy made me feel as ease and was very thorough again reassuring me at all times and explaining my perscription to me. I had my eyes tested and chose two spectacle frames at The Cameron Toll store. The service from Beckii was excellent: She was very friendly and efficient in conducting the preliminary tests on my eyesight. She ensured all my details were correct before being I was fully tested by the optometrist. The optometrist, Sarah, was very thorough and explained all the steps very comprehensively, including most importantly how the prescription for my new spectacles would affect and enhance my sight. Great service all round!

Visited this store as I had a very sore eye. Staff were very friendly and although they had a full diary they managed to fit me in with the optician between appointments. It turned out I had an eye infection and Anthony the optician was very thorough in his examination and prescribed eye drops. They arranged a follow up appointment two days later to check the pressure in the eyes and a final appointment a week later. Really pleased with the service received. Will definitely be back for all my optical requirements

I was then helped by a lovely young lady called Nikita. She chose me a fab frame which I can't wait to pick up. I had a problem with my glasses frame as the wee screw was lost, tried few places asking whether they could help and fix and they kept sending me away. Went to Cameron Toll and met Leah and she did it! Couldn't believe my eyes when she came back with fixed frame, could have cuddled her out of happiness as those are my favourite glasses and was very upset when got broken. 6 stars for Leah, thank you so much for it!

Was efficient enough to make me think they knew what they were doing. One down side I qualified for a free pair of specs but I still ended up having to pay £90 for them. They also said they would email me my prescription still waiting even after informing them when I picked up my glasses.

I wandered in on a busy afternoon and was greeted by Ashley who was welcoming & reassuring (I'm not good at shopping) she knew exactly what would suit me and picked out the perfect frames 1st time, I tried on half the shop but she'd got it spot on right away! Amna managed to fit me in for an eye exam almost right away and was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I usually put off getting new glasses but quite enjoyed it this time, I hope Ashley & Amna are still there next time, I'll definitely come back to optical express.

Overall the service was good. Caring and friendly. I would suggest, that it's good service to talk your way through the process during the first checks, I had to ask a few times for him to explain what was going on. It's also good to clean the equipment before a patient uses it.

First eye test in awhile, Dechlan talked me through the process. I was very unsure on what glasses worked for me and he was very patient and suggested lots of really nice pairs. Made sure I understood everything before going ahead with the payment too. Overall great atmosphere!

Had a lovely lady serving me. I wanted the new glasses just like my current ones but the shop did not have it and I did not find any other pair and, therefore I decided to keep my old frames. The shop had an offer of "spend over £100 and get a free pair of sunglasses". My final bill, even reusing my own frames was £385 and I was very disappointed to learn that I could not get the sunglasses deal because I did not buy new rims. It did not feel fair after having chosen to spend so much on specialised lenses. Paradoxically if I had bought the cheapest rims and the cheapest lenses, all for a total of £101 I would have two pairs of glasses. I really think that Optical Express should rethink their offers' policy in order to keep their customers happy as that was not the feeling I left the store with.

I had an emergency appointment and was blessed to be sent here, I was met by a very friendly young woman called leah, she was amazing calmed me down was very patient with me and very professional. I then seen another young lady the optition called Sarah, she was also very professional and very calming even tho these lady's appeared to be under staffed at no point was I made feel rushed or a burden. My wife and I had a check up in Optical Express at the end of March 2017. The sales assistant/optician, Donna, spent at least 40 minutes with us showing the various frames that would suit our particular face shapes and talked us through the options available. Donna was incredibly knowledgeable about our prescriptions and gave us incredibly helpful, friendly and informed advice. We both weren't looking forward to choosing new frames but Donna made it easy. All the other staff we encountered were also very friendly and professional - thank you for all of your help!

Was at Optical express today to have an eye test and get new glases. The Staff were very pleasant and helpful (especially donna who helped pick out frames and Alex the Optomotrist) not sure of the person who took the other tests (like periferal vision). Went oin a saturday so was not very busy when i went. Update: Got my Glasses and all is good. Edward helped me get used to them as this is the first time using Varyfocals. I Went into Optical Express at Cameron Toll today to get my glasses sorted and was dealt with by Gemma who took my glasses away and promptly fixed the nose pad that had fallen off earlier that day. The customer service was handled by Gemma in a professional manner as you would expect, Now i was just passing on my way to do something else and popped in on the off chance to see they can be fixed there and then, and it was even better when the young lady came back with the repaired Glasses and she informed me there will be no charge for that service, Well what a breath of fresh air, and while i was there Gemma informed me that i was ever so slightly overdue for an eye test and i informed her i would be calling into the shop in the near future. All I can say about Optical Express in Cameron Toll Shopping Centre is their service is absolutely wonderful. After an accident on Fireworks night where I slipped on the wet grass and went face first into the ground, buckling my glasses and the lens falling out, Optical Express repaired them at no cost.
