Where do I start? First of all, the people working here are amazing - genuine, knowledgeable, patient, have a real passion for eyewear, and most importantly care about their customers. They have great personalities which make shopping here is a joy. Secondly, Niche probably have the best collection of eyewear from independent makers in the city, there is an astonishing number of exciting/tasteful brands sitting in the shop. I am truly impressed. As far as I am staying near Glasgow this will be my go to place for glasses. I cannot recommend it more.

I rarely leave reviews for anything but I had to relay the brilliant experience I had at Niche this week. Every member of staff I dealt with - from the shop floor to the optician - was nothing short of a delight. Knowledgeable, friendly, and generous with their time. And every person who passed through the doors while I was their seemed to feel the same way. I wish every shop could be staffed by their team!

I purchased a pair of Face a Face glasses from Niche last year and decided to treat myself to prescription sunglasses this summer. Each time, the staff took the time to make lots of recommendations as I was unsure what style to choose. I didn't feel rushed or pushed to make a decision. Although the frames are more expensive than high street shops they are worth every penny. All of the staff are very friendly and the customer experience is second to none.

I've been a customer of Niche Optical Tailor for over 3 years now and from the very first day of discovering this gem I was hooked ... I was like the proverbial "wean in a sweetie shoap" ... the choice was endless and because of that, it is so hard to choose!! That said, the staff are so knowledgeable and listen to you and helpfully guide you, which makes it so much easier. They just seem to have an eye for what suits your shape of face etc. I've been wearing specs, almost since the day I was born (which wisnae yesterday) and I've never received service like this in any other optical establishment .... in fact everyone of them all fall very far short of the Niche standards; both in the styles offered and the knowledge, warmth and efficiency of the staff. Nothing is ever too much bother for them. The last pair of glasses I purchased were for my daughter's wedding and the Manager, Brenda spent a long time with me, listening to my wishes and helping me to choose the colour of stones and placing a special order .... end result = one extremely happy MOTB. The staff give me the impression that they are happy in their work, and I've been in a lot over the years. The testimonials on the website, from fellow professionals just speak volumes. Well done Niche for being different .. a much needed breath of fresh air for spec wearers in Glasgow. Thank You All

Was very happy with everything at Niche; great range of specs and L was very patient as I tried on many pairs till we settled on the right ones. Unfortunately when they came back the lenses were just not right for reading. So they were sent back for an adjustment and I tried them for a fortnight, but still they weren't right and I was getting headaches. At that stage I decided I had spent enough time on my vanity and decided to call it a day. L kindly refunded my money without a quibble. When I am in the mood again I will probably go back.

Nothing ever seems to be a problem @ niche - from fixing to customising to dreams coming true. This is also the place to go if you have specialist design dreams or optical needs - the place where they have the kind of relationships with the global designers that enables them to bespoke glasses exclusively for you. Niche has made the on set of age easier and kinder for me - they make optical needs stylish, fun, relaxed and something to look forward to I am so grateful to have them as my eyewear go to guys - long may their energy and values bloom.
