Every time I visit this shop everyone is very helpful , experienced and just friendly:). Happy with the services provided and that whenever there was an issue with my glasses they were keen to resolve it I also love how helpful Sehir is. She was super nice and knew exactly what advice to give relating to my glasses. Excellent care

They do not communicate with each other, I wanted to re order contact lenses but I was told I needed a new appointment because my prescription was expired so I had to come and get checked again. When I arrived someone else told me that it wasn't necessary to come, I could have just ordered them without visit, it wasn't expired after all. They checked my vision wearing the "old contact lenses" not even without wearing them, I left without contact lenses because apparently the last brand I wore wasn't appropriate to my eyes anymore and they tried to prescribe me ones "closest to my real diopter" because mine prescription was not available, I obviously couldn't see properly with them so I left without contact lenses and charged 25 pounds. Not before they pass you with the sales team of course

On Friday morning (18/03) I had an accident at work and I injured my eye. Peronel was very helpful and friendly from entry to end. I don't remember the names of the 2 guys at the entrance who welcome me in shop and take my detalis for register, that's why I gave the date. I also thank the eye doctor Shaun for taking care of me and calm me down.

My mum ( anne inglis ) was diagnosed with macular degeneration around 7 years ago. Sean connelly is her optometrist. He has been so fantastic with her and i experienced it today when i took her for her appointment. He explained her condition well with us and helped me understand what's going on with her eyes . Had my eye test appointment this morning at Glasgow Trongate branch, the test was done by Rhona Barbour, she was very friendly, knowledgeable and helped with a reading problem i had been having, explained everything clearly and offered advice, i was then assisted with choosing and finalising my order by Pamela Hardie who was very helpful, friendly and gave me great advice re my prescription and order, she listened to problem i had previous with my glasses and my order was placed, Altogether it was a very happy experience, everything was easy and smooth flowing, both members of staff are a credit to the Specsavers brand and deserve a pay rise. Service is fantastic! Always prompt and efficient...Having went with my uncle for eye tests together, we were both seen immediately with a fast flow from test to test. Everyone is very kind and in no way does their ability to care for all age group ever appear as anything other than genuine commitment to customer service. Covid has affected although not to their own fault however their ability to assist over the phone is second to none 10/10....Thanks for all your assistance as always guys :)

I highly recommend this store when next you need an eye test or glasses. The staff are fantastically helpful even under the current circumstances, knowledgeable and honest when giving advice. I was actually talked out of buying more expensive glasses as in the adviser's opinion they were not suitable for my face shape. There was no hard sell and at each stage during my eye exam I was kept informed of why each stage was happening. They even took the time to advise my mother who had tagged along. . Ok I have to be honest. . She was paying lol, when she asked for advice on hwr own glasses. I know for a fact when it comes time to renew my prescription I will definitely return to this branch. Thank you to all the staff who helped.

Great store, really friendly staff. The Optometrist Louise was superb! One of the most thorough eye exams I've ever had and she noticed I was rubbing my eye and had a closer look, and spotted that I was suffering from allergies. Very pleased with the excellent level of care, thanks Louise!

Found the meeter greeter at the front desk incredibly difficult and not friendly at all . All other staff were incredibly nice but the person at the front desk should have some retraining. Patronising and unhelpful.

Walk in the front door and immediatly you are made to feel that you are the only person that matters. Their system to deal with the covid situation is well planned out and customer safety is clearly their target which in my opinion, was easily met. My experience in shop was very pleasant the staff are just so professional,helpful and polite. I especially loved the way that they listen to what you are telling them regarding what you want instead of the big sell just to extract as much money out of your pocket as possible. I recommend the ct scan on offer for as little as a £10 note it is fantastic value for peace of mind. Whoever is in charge of customer service should be proud of themselves this is a good business with real pros at the helm. oh and the cost of my visit was well below what i expected it to be i purchased 2 pair of reading glasses and one pair of driving glasses + anti glare for the driving glasses... lets just say i was very happy with the final bill. I have been going to this branch of Specsavers for a number of years. Reason for this is I trust them, their prices are extremely reasonable and their customer service is first class. I purchased a pair of glasses, with the help of one of the assistants. This is the first time I have purchased and wore varifocals. I was extremely dubious about varifocals but was instructed on how to adjust to wearing them and advised if not suitable for me I can go back and have my usual reading and distance glasses. Service is fantastic in this store so I highly recommend

Goal was to get glasses for use with computer screen. The glasses received are good only if the screen in 4 inches from my face. When I returned to rectify I was told they don't make mistakes with prescription testing. The other general glasses received were adequate. I WON'T be going back to Specsavers.

I got the best eye test I have ever had I've been to other optitions but this is definitely the best the girl that helped me chose my glasses was lovely and so helpful and patient.

Great selection of designer and budget frames and accessories. Staff super helpful but not pushy and can help you find what you're looking for or tell you if you ask which frames best suit your face. I got some lovely FC UK frames here but left them on a train, so I went back and got a new pair almost a year later and they still had my prescription on file. They often give out coupons for your next frames and have great sales like BOGO reduced. For my second pair, I went with Converse sunglasses. Didn't get much use out of them since this is Scotland but they look good, and I got some glasses beads as well so I don't leave them on any more trains. They also do the eye exams here upstairs, as well as contacts and hearing aids. Hoping to see them soon while I still have the £50 voucher.

I was in Specsavers today and was helped by Qasim, a trainee optician - I was really impressed by the timely, professional and friendly manner in which he approached the recent challenges I’ve been experiencing with my lenses. Left really happy with the amendments made and the fact he put my personal preferences first. Very happy with the whole staff at Specsavers Trongate overall, keep up the great work!
