Arrived today for an eye test and was saw to by Stephanie. Having not had an eye test in a few years I was a bit apprehensive to begin with but Stephanie made me feel totally at ease. By far the best and most pleasant experience I’ve had to date in any opticians. The level of service received today was great, I don’t think I’ll be going to any other Opticians from now on. The sales team where great aswell, the whole process was smooth and natural. Stephanie and the team are an asset to the company.

Had my 2 year eye test with Sarah on tuesday night she was very nice and helpful and explained everything to me about my x rays and what was involved in my test, I decided to treat myself to new frames for my glasses and was helped with that from Rubi she was very good and helpful helping me find frames to suit my face shape. Very pleasant experience thanks to very helpful staff.

The person doing my eye test was really professional. I had some symptoms I wanted checked and they examined them very thoroughly and were able to explain everything really clearly and put my mind at ease. The friendly staff helped me pick my new glasses which I love. The glasses were ready when they said they would be. Ive been back since for prescription sunglasses and got the same great service.

Really great experience here with lovely staff. They answered all my questions and went though all my options for contact lenses. Going to the fort is so much easier than going in to city centre too.

I had my eyes tested here and everyone I encountered were extremely professional and helpful. When I came back to order my glasses I was helped by a Male member of staff (longish blonde hair and glasses) who really tried to help me find a pair I liked since I've never wore glasses. he was very patient, allowing me to look around and checking in on me now and again whilst it was busier. There was offers of buy 1 get 1 free (when you spend £69) and if you spend over £70 you got the "Ultraclear" treatment for free. When I finally decided on a pair I liked, the lad got me measured up properly and placed my order and let me book an appointment to pick them up again. When I came back I was standing waiting by the till for a long time whilst a female member of staff was serving another customer, the whole time I waited she never acknowledged me, which was disappointing. The lad who had originally served me was measuring up another customer, but as soon as he was free he came over brought out my order and made sure I was happy with them. He reassured me and said if I had any problems or questions to just call the store. I felt valued as a customer and will continue to shop here in the future.

I have been going to Specsavers at the Fort since it opened and have always had excellent service from all staff. The organisation is very slick, I was promptly taken to have my pre checks done by a member of staff who then showed me how my eye looked and what she was expecting to see. I was then taken through to the optometrist. She was very thorough, polite and friendly and explained everything that she was doing. I required new glasses so was handed over to the assistant who advised me on the style, size and colour of the frames that would suit my particular lenses. These were ready to pick up soon afterwards and I am delighted with them. Aftercare is very good, I quickly had my frames straightened after accidentally sitting on them. I rate Specsavers and all the staff at the Fort very highly. There's also plenty of parking spaces which made my visit easier too.

Staff helpful . Good eye examination. Not happy with spectacles though.... had to go back ...wrong lenses ...unhappy that we did not receive the second pair free....wish they would not advertise this all over the shop. The more expensive your spectacles are , no are not eligible for another pair (even a cheaper pair would be appreciated)
