i broke my glasses and went into Specsavers Rutherglen today, i had only bought them 4 months ago, luckily they had the same frame so took my old lenses and put them into my new glasses, then told me they would not be charging me for the new glasses! i was made up, the staff were superb, very friendly and great customer service, this was 3 days before xmas and i was expecting a bill, so to not get a bill at this time of year was brilliant!!!

I have used this shop for over twenty years it was Mr Beatson senior when I started using it the last month or so I was back for new glasses after talking with the member off staff and trying on some glasses I was told I had to have the old Frames back as there was no others that suited that ment now I've had the same frame in the last four years they did not bother to help find one they told me this was all they had then tried to charge me four years ago price plus the frame broke before the first two years were up but was charged fifty pounds to get the same one fixed begers believe we'll I certainly won't be back it's went down hill in my eyes thank you for the same frame on each occasion my custom goes elsewhere now I would like to thank Mr Beatson senior for his great service when he was working there also got 30.pounds back as I had to take old frame again I picked my prescription up so now going for some better and modern ones 👋👋👋

I give the store 4 points cos so many staff running about. Tell you to come in early yet. Running late but I would give Karen 100% if I could she has been the 1st optician in 10 years to explain to me what's going on. And she done it professionally. 4 sets of glasses 5 these 1s. She put my mind at ease. So Specsavers you have a gem 💎 in Karen she was fantastic. Pity I need to go back tomorrow as the dispenser was busy.

I have been using Rutherglen Specsavers for 20 years. Always get my glasses there. I had to have a cataract operation a couple of years ago and the staff organised it for me. I've been recently for check up appointments and the staff are great. Very friendly and professional. Thank you Rutherglen Specsavers.

Staff are warm and welcoming regardless of this awful virus. Felt really safe and was given a really good examination a special thank you to young lady who explained all aspects of tests through my visit she is a credit to this shop also the young nan who assisted with the last part of test very patient and helpful, everything was cleaned before and after a huge thank you to all staff keep safe and take care.

My appointment felt abit rushed compared to previous appointments. The girl taking my oct test couldnt take the photo properly it left me feeling like I needed another test elsewhere, I told her I had a detached retina 17yr ago and she blamed that for the reason she coulndt get the photo. I previously had glasses for reading that I never took out the case tbh didnt feel I needed them, they told me I needed a reglaze even tho they have never been unused and im getting new prescription anyway. Think I will go elsewhere.
