There are many shops for glasses in Leeds and in this street in particular but DMO in my view is the best; just superb, feels like home, very competent and hardworking team, supportive of costumers, relaxed, friendly atmosphere, I was advised for years now by David and now Craig. The staff are an absolute delight to deal with. Even losing my glasses in London was sorted imminently with a new pair being couriered to me within hours. Brilliant experience, brilliant care. Went in today and the staff helped me pick out glasses when I was struggling between choosing two, they didn’t pressure me into anything, they helped me with my budget and were very kind! Very kind talkative staff who made me feel at home. Covid secure and had great rules out in place which they kindly explained when I was choosing glasses. Really nice people can definitely tell they care about the customer experience/feelings and not just about the money like other opticians! Really excited to pick up my glasses, thanks!

Matthew and Wayne are Rockstars, whilst experiencing a couple of issues, thier overall customer service is so strong it completely overshadows the problems encountered. Customers are put first at David H Myers - 10/10 service. I would without question, fully endorse and recommend them, a 5 star service.

After 10 years of wearing glasses and never feeling the prescription was correct, the optician at David H Myers (Mohammed Yasin Yaqub) was able to diagnose immediately that I had an issue with my eyes that had nothing to do with my prescription, give me a treatment plan, and then make the corresponding adjustments to my prescription. I feel like they've actually got it right after so many years of other opticians never getting to the root of the issue. The rest of the staff were very helpful, friendly and reassuring, and all COVID measures were in place and cheerily adhered to. I would definitely recommend David H Myers without any hesitation.

I cannot rate this optician highly enough. Having had an eye test at Spec savers I took my script to them to supply and fit new lenses in my glasses I had bought from them 1917. The glasses were awful - couldn't see my computer!! They did another eye test free of charge, then did another set of lenses with their own (different) script - again free of charge. Glasses are now perfect for me. They kept me informed throughout the process and dealt with everything very promptly. David in particular was just fantastic. If there was 10 stars to highlight I would do so because the service I have received over twenty years exceeds 5 stars. Whenever I have a eye problem or I may feel anxious when having to purchase new glasses or contact lens straightaway my mind is put to an ease by the advice given . The staff team are extremely friendly and absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend David Meyers Opticians . Thank you guy😊

The customer service is really good, but there were 2 problems for me. First, they forgot to bevel my lenses. I have a pretty high prescription, so this was really important. They did it immediately, so that was okay, but kind of sloppy that they forgot. Then, when I got home, I noticed the two lenses are different colors. I called and was told because I chose different thicknesses for the lenses, one would be darker in color, but only if u look at the lenses from the side. But once I noticed it, I couldn’t unsee it, as it was still slightly darker when I’m wearing it. The darker lens casts a much darker shadow under one eye, so half my face looks really tired. I was not told about the different color the lenses would be before I picked the thickness. I think this is something that customers should be informed of.

Can’t thank the team enough for the wonderful service I received. I had a pair of broken vintage sunglasses (has sentimental value) which needed repairing and it was a challenging job other companies were not prepared to do. The staff were very friendly and repair was perfect with the frames looking like new. Highly recommend!
