visited for the first time but definitely not my last visit,i was greeted very warmly on entry,all the staff were dressed smartly and looked to be busy with customers and most importantly to me everyone in the shop were wearing masks and i felt safe which was important to me,very well run and very professional staff,a very pleasant visit

Fantastic service! I called the store at opening time to be greeted by a very pleasant young lady named Alana,discussed the problems my 90yr old nan was having,she said a member of staff would call me back within 2hrs. I received a call just half an hour later,they booked her in for an app that afternoon! Optician was lovely and explained everything perfectly! Great team! Good service needs recognising! Thanks to you all! Hope you enjoyed the chocolates!

The staff here are brilliant. I've been in on many many occasions to have my glasses repaired and they never question or mither you, they are just happy to help. They are extremely professional and I always leave feeling happy. The branch is warm and inviting and has free parking.

Never enough car spaces. Very busy store. I am used to an independent opticians were it has a better flow to the appointment. In saying that the actual appointment was very thorough. The staff were very helpful.

I didn't like how I was treated by the optometrist I was wanting to to whether it would be cheaper to purchase a perscription for contact lenses online and I didn't know there was another option of a direct debit and while I was making up my mind the optromertrist said causese were cheap were specsaver as if I was supposed to know and then she said do the math in a damanding stern tone and it had completely took me off guard but I felt to threatened by her to react and I let it go but after a few visits to got my eyes tested I noticed she was displaying a lack of professionism again i complained about an eye infection I had contracted by trying to get and eye Lash out of my eye i said I it wasn't caught on the lense when she conducted my eye test so she wasn't able to see but I think I got an infection through touching my eye by mistake i eventually got this cleared but I had spoken to the optomitrist in she had said just use eye drops yet in another demanding tone and ihad have put my fingers in my eye and I felt like she was makeing assumptions about me and trying to rub salt in the wounds even though it felt like she was trying to help its put me off going back to this specsavers and I was left feelimg like should cancel all my direct debits and never go back to this branch again because I felt like she spoke to me inpolitley with disrespect I felt like she was bossy and domineering I was left feeling under pressure to do things I didn't want to do she said it not worth going to the chemist to get your meds come to me next time and she said I'll pick a chemist for you i didn't feel I was given enough time to make my mind and fely like I was reluctantly complying to everything she wanted and when I did say no she was still persuading to do what she wanted without asking me first. ivo have lost complete trust and faith in the optomitrist and as much as she was trying to do her job and she was to help and wouldn't have known how it was affecting me and maybe trying to ease her discomfort and she may have been going through a difficult time and she didn't know how to react any differently than she did at the time it still left me feeling uncomfortable with what she did I felt under pressure to accept her help to put a contact lense in my eye i didn't like how she was putting it in my eye so I refused her help and said no I will put it in my eye and she then repsonded by saying no let me put the contact lense in your eye i felt so under pressure that I reluctantly complied and regrettably I should have walked away and gone somewhere else but the other staff were great one helped me get my contact lense in at my own pace she made up for the optromertrist lack of customer care and and there was a lovely women who works there she helped me choose my glasses and was very curtious and professional and the other women when I phoned up was so helpful when I needed to order a new perscript ionso I think it is just the professional relationahip with the optomitrist that isn't working its proving what shes doing to the other staff I just hope noone goes through what i did in specsavers with the optomitrist I had a better careing optomitrist at albion Street i think I'm gonna go back there.

The absolute stars of this place are Krish the optician and the manager whom are great here, really friendly and deliver a superb customer service. A couple of others too who show some potential, if lacking in a little confidence but it is certainly Krish who means we will keep going back. Dynamic, professional, smart, thorough and knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Reasonable prices. If there was any constructive criticism I would give it would be, often there are more staff than I have seen at any other small store and yet there can still be long wait times as the staff mill around. A couple of the older ladies can seem a bit miserable in comparison to the others but they are attentive and helpful. One female optician seemed more interested in the mirror and her perfect positioning of her blue head attire than customers.

Great service, I booked my appointment literally 10mins prior as I was having problems with my vision. I was greeted well upon arrival, handed over to an initial assessor, then passed over to have the main eye test. Once complete, I was then allocated my own advisor who discussed my options and where to go from there. At times it felt a little as I was being passed from person to person, but I fully understand that this is the way that the structure is set up, and each person is a specialist in that area - and every single one of them was polite and inviting, so I can't be negative about it. My only grumble, is that I wouldn't say I have ordered the most technical prescription, or bespoke frames, but I have to wait 9 days until my new eyes will be ready. There was no offer of speeding up the process, i was just told that was the best that could be done. I was booked in for when they would be ready, so they can be shaped and made sure the fit is right. I Look forward to picking up my glasses in a week or so. All in all - the in store service is top class.

Don’t usually do online reviews but I really can’t praise the staff here highly enough. I broke my glasses and needed an emergency replacement. From the initial enquiry phone call to my new glasses being ready for collection, everyone went so out of their way to help. They are all super friendly, professional and just a real pleasure to deal with. This branch is no longer local to me, but I will make the journey back next time I need a sight test or new glasses.

Just been to Specsavers Kirkstall having broken the nose support piece off my glasses. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, particular Jade and the manager (sorry didn't get the gentleman's name). I agreed to send my glasses away for repair and left the shop. Less than 10 minutes later I received a call to say that they had found a frame exactly the same as mine and had fitted my lenses into the new frames all for the same £15.00. Now that's what I call service. Well done and thank you very much.

The quality of service was reasonable, but i couldn't say was exceptional. They are understaffed in terms of optometrists, had a 25mins wait after time of appointment. The sales assistants i felt were rushed, and offered little help in the way of telling me which glasses i suited, or would be good for me. When choosing alone this is a daunting task.

Dealt with Casper at spec savers Kirkstall, very eloquent, very knowledgeable and an absolute gentleman. I am a local car dealer and suffer eye pain while at auction and watching tv. Casper took EVERYTHING into consideration, the distance from the tv, the glare at auction from sodium lighting and constant flashing hazard warning lights and even other medical issues I have including my posture. I got a great deal to include anti glare at only £69. Left to my own devices I chose COMPLETELY the wrong frames, Casper immediately pointed this out and zeroed straight in on the PERFECT pair (he was right). I've dealt with all the other staff there and they're all great but I never felt the need to leave a review. It's my job as a car dealer to look after people, but today I felt looked after myself - and that's a nice feeling! Well done Casper ! 👍

Had an eye injury at work on wed last week. . Didn't realise what I had done until Friday. Went to boots chemists who panicked me to going to a NHS walk in and saw a lovely Indian female doctor who suggested I see an optician I went to my opticians specsavers at kirkstall. There is a lovely Dutch guy called Casper. . Anyone reading this please note the following. I'm a business owner in kirkstall. So I know how retail works. I was seen. A lovely guy came to look at my eye ( he did my eye test last year). I was panicking as blood in your eye is not a great sight to see. This guy knows his stuff. Identified what I had a reassured me what I had and confirmed this was a time repair rather than an AE visit. Dont think if you go to this place it's only sell sell they are a business yep and need to cover costs but like a good insurance company they are there if you need them.. Well done spec savers thankyou for your impeccable attention Rob collinson.
