Evington Eyecare Optometrist have taken excellent care of my eyesight for the past twenty years for both glasses and contact lenses. I rate them very high indeed and cannot recommend them highly enough. They are really friendly and helpful and can advise you on anything to do with vision. Great customer service and very efficient with orders and sorting out any problems. They also run a hearing clinic. The establishment is well presented, airy, clean and fresh looking and they stock a good range of frames to choose from. Easy road side parking as well.

The treatment I received was highly professional, thorough and delivered in a friendly manner. Great care was exercised in protecting the patients and staff from the risk of covid-19. The conclusions of the tests were delivered in a clear and concise way. I have not received my spectacles so cannot comment further.

Had an appointment today and it was definately a ten star experience to me. Very friendly and experienced reception staff and Mr Jasat, the optomotrist made me feel very relaxed while inspecting both my eyes in the finest details. After all the eyetest Mr Jasat explained and discussed everything with me in detail and made sure that I get the best solution for my eyesight problems. A huge thank you to Mr Jasat and Dawn, I will highly recommend this practice in Evington to anyone that needs eyecare. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Having been a patient for a good number of years I can happily say I have always had superb service. I needed quite a lot of advice regarding a problem I was having, this was given freely and was extensive and helpful. I required to items being referred and both were done quickly and efficiently. I recommend Evington Eyecare as they offer expert and friendly service and have done for me for over 20 years.

I recently visited Evington Eye Care where the practice is in a safe area with plenty of street parking Before entering the practice my temperature was taken and then I was asked to sanitise my hands before being shown to a well spaced seating area. The Opticians room was very clean with the latest equipment. The test was completed together with an Optimap test I was then shown all the results which were explained to me. I have no problem in recommending this practice

Updated review : October 2021 My aunt visited the optician recently and was really pleased with the appointment she had. She was impressed with how promptly she could be seen for an appointment. She said staff were very welcoming on her visit. She felt the appointment was conducted thoroughly and all treatments and services were explained well. The staff had taken the time to explain the range of glasses on offer and pricing. Her glasses were ready earlier than expected which she was very happy with. July 2021 Overall experience: Thorough eye tests with knowledgeable opticians and top of the range equipment. Dated decor Overpriced glasses Staff Friendy service from the opticians and the receptionist that has worked there for 20 years.I feel the other front facing staff are either unhelpful or rude/ condescending. Eye test The eye test and optimap scan were very thorough and the optician took the time to explain the treatment/ optimap images.Very pleased with the appointment. Website The website has improved but more info on spectacle price bands/ ranges from bands could be advertised. Internal Decor The internal decor is very dated and has looked the same for 20 years. I don't think carpets are very hygienic in a clinic. For a private optician, more could be invested to the look of the practice as It feels dark and dingy Pricing Glasses are very overpriced and I bought my second pair elsewhere online. I felt rushed in store choosing my specs

Mum was a customer here but now unfortunately cant physically get to the shop, nevertheless, they helped me with her broken glasses and looked after me in a really helpful and friendly way. they even helped me to start on the road to finding a home visit optician. They are a local independent optician and I cant fault their customer focus at all. 5 stars well deserved based on my experience

I had my first visit at Evington Eyecare a couple of days ago. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, a very relaxed atmosphere which put me at ease. The service and care I received was second to none. All of my questions were answered and listened to sympathetically. The examination was thorough, professional and I can't imagine being looked after better anywhere else.. My Mother visited Evington Eye Care recently and I was so impressed with the service she received I decided to visit them myself. From the minute I entered the staff remembered me and were so friendly. The actual consultation was the best I have received. I was asked relevant questions, offered good advice. I was not rushed and I was able to ask anything( no matter how silly) The optician was lovely, friendly and not “pushy”. He explained everything clearly, making sure I understood and that I made the choices I needed to rather than being persuaded into something I didn’t need. Together we agreed the right actions to take. The whole experience was great, never rushed at any point, never ignored or left to wait for assistance (as has been the case with my previous optician!) Visited for the first time during lockdown, so glad I did as I felt really secure and covid safe (as can be) On arrival the front door was locked so you can't just walk in off the street. An appointment is necessary. Body temp taken before entering and friendly staff asked me to sanitise my hands. The optometrist was very friendly and preformed a thorough eye exam, as I have an eye condition and regularly visit the lri eye department but because of covid my appointments have been cancelled so I haven't seen a doctor for nearly 12 months. The kind gentleman assured me that everything will be checked and if anything was found he would recommend that a make an emergency visit to lri, thankfully nothing was found. All equipment was cleaned immediately after I used them and I could tell that everything had been cleaned and sanitised before I entered. I have given 4 stars only because they did not have a lot of range for designer glasses, however I can understand this as they are an independent company and not the commercial big hitters and still really pleased with my glasses. On leaving the premises I was asked to sanitise my hands once more which made me feel really good that they were following protocol really well. On the whole really good service from friendly and knowledgeable staff, thank you and I will be returning in the future.

Great service from your staff! I popped in to see if my glasses could be fixed as one of the tiny screws had dropped out and a very lovely lady (apologies, I didn't take her name) promptly took my glasses away for 5 minutes and came back with them fixed. I've been going to Evington Eyecare for as long as I've needed glasses. They are very friendly and always offer a cuppa while you wait. Mr Jasat is very efficient and thorough, taking the time to explain everything about the eye tests. If you have the internal eye photograph done it's fascinating seeing the inside and reassuring to see that everything is ok. Overall recommended.

I can't speak highly enough of the care and service from Toni and her colleagues. Exasperated with my current opticians, I approached her to see if my broken specs could be repaired - a small thing to many but a daily irritiation for me for weeks - as the plastic on the arms was disintegrating and the exposed metal was cutting into the top of my ears. She sourced the parts (arms) from the manufacturer and fitted them without a quibble even though I had not purchased the original glasses from there. This act of kindness and concern was totally unexpected and really touched me. Well done Toni and the team, and a big thank you! _/\_ :)
