I had Lasik eye laser surgery in December and the results have been amazing. I had been looking for the right surgeon for a few years and I was recommended Mr Jain by a work colleague. The service is excellent as well as the aftercare too. I would certainly recommend Lumivision to anyone thinking about eye surgery - and indeed have done just that! They have recently had laser surgery and are very please with the results. Thank you again Mr Jain and Lumivision for improving my quality of life in being able to see clearly again for the first time in years. Can't recommend you enough! Thank you again. 😁 😁

I am not writing reviews often but Lumivision clinic staff fully deserve it. I had LASEK eye surgery last year. They made my biggest dream come true :) Experience has been great from start to finish. Fantastic experience from start to finish. The price initially had me looking at Lumivison, but with it being my eyes I couldn't let that be what made the decision. For anyone wondering though, I had astigmatism and that did not impact the price against what is advertised on the website. Being able to see who the surgeon would be and googling in advance gave me the confidence to commit to getting my eyes done here. Christine the medical receptionist was really friendly, and Dr Jain has been really flexible for follow up sessions along with being extremely professional throughout. As mentioned by others, I was given his mobile number and I had a couple of queries between surgery and check up and he responded quickly and called on another occasion. The location is easy to get to and has parking which makes it really convenient. The surgery itself went perfectly, the team were extremely reassuring and the surgery couldn't have gone better. From day one I could see the difference (after resting my eyes as advised for the first few hours). When I went back the next day I was able to read from 2 lines better than 20/20. I am now almost 3 weeks post surgery and pretty much back to normal (Following advice about some activities I can't do like football, swimming and steam rooms etc). Dry eyes in the morning which is completely normal, but other than that I wouldn't know I had surgery on my eyes such a short time ago, with the exception of not needing contact lenses or glasses. My partner is now considering getting hers done and I am happy to recommend to anyone that is on the fence. Really glad I decided to get it done and no regrets at all for choosing Lumivision, couldn't have asked for anything more :)

I had the LASEK procedure and the results are fantastic! I now have better than 20/20 vision just 3 months after the surgery. Dr Jain and his team were absolutely brilliant. I had surgery in Feb 2022 and the process was straightforward. I initially went for a free consultation and Dr Jain examined my vision and then explained appropriate treatment plans to me. I was put at ease the whole time. There was no pressure or rush for me to decide there and then and I was given time to think. I was given different dates for surgery slots. On surgery day, there was no surprises as everything was explained prior - I even got to see the surgery room prior so knew the room ahead of time. Surgery was painless and quick (I had lasek eye surgery). When getting home from surgery I felt at ease as Dr Jain gives you his personal phone number so you can contact him at all times, if there is any problems/concerns/ questions during recovery. I took sleeping tablets to sleep for the 6 hours after and I had no issues during recovery. I could not recommend Dr Jain enough and have recommended him to all my family and friends. The receptionists that greets you is comforting and welcoming (sorry I did not catch a name). I am so glad I went ahead and had this treatment done with Dr Jain, even though I was nervous. It is worth is! Thank you Dr Jain!!

I had LASEK laser eye surgery done in January and couldn’t be happier with the results and service provided by Dr Jain and his team. That first morning I woke up and could see out of my bedroom window was a dream come true 😍♥️🙏🏼 This was day 3 if I remember rightly as the first 24 hours you will be in pain and discomfort and won’t be able to open your eyes, but don’t panic with it being your eyes as this is part of the process! All eye drops are provided to help with the healing process. They need to heal so give them a couple of days and your vision will start to come….then again each day as the skin grows back and heals on your eyes. You’ll need at least a week off work if you drive. Each week your vision gets better and better so just be patient for the first 6 weeks (one eye will be better than the other at some point, but again don’t panic they’re just adjusting!) I’ve just had my 6 week follow up appointment and my vision is now at 20/20 vision 🥰🙏🏼 …in both eyes haha! You might be skeptical like I was at first with this place being a small, independent business and cheaper in price but I’m so happy I made the decision to proceed with them. Cannot recommend enough as went to Optical Express who wanted double the price of this place (just over £4,000!!!) and didn’t provide as good service! Dr Jain provides a very personal service, very honest in his opinions not trying to get more money out of you or push you into making a decision or booking. I was due to have breast surgery and Dr Jain wanted me to fully recover and not rush into booking my laser eye surgery 😍🙏🏼🥰 He’s very relaxed and caring. I replied to Optical Expresses follow up email explaining I’d found a company at half the price they’d quoted me and I was astonished at the reply I received from a customer service representative: “Okay thanks good luck” 😳 that was literally it!!! So I replied explaining how if they provided better customer service then people might be happier to part with £4,000 with them 🙈 anyway, I hope my experience/feedback helps anyone considering laser eye surgery and I will be sure to spread the word for Lumivision who have been a God send to me 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Dr Jain is an excellent surgeon. Reassuring and very knowledgeable. I went for the Lasek option after Dr Jain explained my options. The clinic was very clean and all the staff, from reception through to the clinic staff were very welcoming and professional. My experience with Lumivision has been fantastic. Having laser eye surgery was the best decision i have ever made. I had been wearing contact lenses for 20 years, they were making my eyes dry. So i looked into laser eye surgery and i found higher branded places were pushy and more costly. Then i came across Lumivision which was close to where i live. I went for a consulation, wheres i met Dr Jain who is very professional and helpful, the staff are friendly and it is a clean clinic. And the price was better than i seen at other places. Amazing!! I had LASEK with wavefront just under 3 months ago and my eyesight is now better than 20/20! I chose Lumivision because of the great reviews and i was not disappointed!! The consultation with dr Jain was very thorough and I felt very at ease going into the surgery. The actual procedure was quick and painless and dr Jain provided his personal phone number in case I had an issues or concerns post surgery - which I did not. After two or three days, I was able to see fine and, after a month or so, my vision was perfect! Not having to wear glasses is life changing!! I also wanted to thank the rest of his team for how friendly and supportive they were. They really did provide such a high standard of care, I definitely would not have received anywhere near the same level of treatment from a mainstream laser eye surgery brand (e.g optical express). I had reservations when it came to laser eye surgery, how wrong I was. Dr Jain came recommended by a colleague of my partner so I decided to book a consultation at a 120 mile round trip. Dr Jain explained everything in detail and put me at ease so I booked Lasek surgery for January 2022. The whole process from start to finish was seamless. Today I had my final check up only to be told I have have 20/10 vision when carrying out the sighting assesments(Twice as good as 20/20). I would highly recommend the Lumivision team. I had LASEK performed by Lumivision eye clinic in Feb 2022 and I cannot recommend their practice enough. I chose Lumivision over high street laser eye clinics, such as optical express and vision express, due to Dr. Jain's expertise. As an NHS consultant ophthalmologist, he has the highest level of experience in eye health possible and you are guaranteed that it is him who performs the surgery, pre-op and post-op checks. All the staff were super friendly and Dr. Jain even gives you his personal mobile number after surgery in case you have any questions or concerns, no matter what time it is. I have had many follow up appointments to ensure my vision and eye health is perfect and through personal experience I can say my vision is even better now than with glasses. It has been very freeing to be able to run, swim and cycle without glasses! My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I had wanted my eyes corrected for years - I had worn glasses since I was 8 and was -6.75 in both eyes! I went for a consultation at one of the major ‘big brand’ surgeries and I was not impressed so I left it. I researched a number of clinics before finally deciding to go with Lumivision, for the fact that Dr Jain was extremely experienced and answered number of my queries with ease. More importantly throughout the treatment Dr Jain was reassuring and extremely caring by going the extra length in patient care when he was available at non-office hours for any query was no issue and was always a phone call away. In comparison other mainstream clinics felt like the did not offer that extra personal care and just wanted your money and were treated like a customer and not a patient. In terms of getting laser eye surgery treatment from Lumivision it was surprisingly competitively priced in comparison to other clinics by a long shot and cannot see why you would want to pay considerably more for a impersonal service. It has been nearly 6 months since my laser eye surgery and finally writing my review as I wanted to be certain of the results and they are as promised - wish I did it sooner!! Thanks Dr Jain.

I chose Lumivision and Dr Jain for LASEK (Wavefront) eye surgery and I could not have been happier with my decision. I had a couple of pre-surgery consultations to confirm my suitability for laser eye surgery. Dr Jain was patient, extremely knowledgable and answered all the questions I had. I felt no pressure to commit and have the surgery at all. On the day of the surgery I was in the clinic for just under 1 hour, the actual surgery took around 20 seconds per eye. I was given all the post-surgery medication along with the necessary care advice. I was also given Dr. Jain's personal telephone number, should I have any queries. The surgery went very well and was painless. The 24hrs post-surgery were uncomfortable, but the medication that was provided really helped. The "uncomfortable" feeling then dissipated over the following day-or-so. At the follow-up consultations I was told that I now have better than 20-20 vision in both eyes. I could not be happier with the results. Overall, I would not hesitate in recommending Lumivision and Dr Jain (having already done so to a number of family and friends)

If you have cataract problems I would definitely recommend this clinic. Dr Jain is brilliant and thorough at his job as are his assistants who help him. They all work very well as a team and should be commended. Cataract removal is a completely pain free operation and Dr Jain explains all as he goes through the procedure. I had wavefront LASEK laser eye surgery at Lumivision in August and would highly recommend the clinic to anyone considering laser eye surgery. At the initial consultation Dr Jain did a thorough examination of my eyes and explained the differences between the types of laser surgery. He also took the time to answer all of the questions which I had, and put no pressure on me to book. On the day of my surgery I was very nervous, however Dr Jain and his team put me at ease. The surgery itself was very quick and I needn't have worried about it. I was also pleasantly surprised that I was able to see clearly straight after my surgery. My recovery has been excellent and pain free. At worst my eyes felt like they had a bit of sand in them, however this feeling didn't last long at all. The aftercare that Dr Jain and his team provide is excellent. Dr Jain gives his patients his personal contact number in case you have any queries. The service feels very personal. I had my six week aftercare appointment earlier this week and was very pleased that I was able to read to a level of 20/10 (two lines smaller than 20/20). Dr Jain is highly knowledgeable in his area and made me feel at ease. The clinic itself is easily accessible. I actually travelled from Barnsley to Dr Jain. I would highly recommend Dr Jain and his clinic, the results I have achieved though Lasek have been life changing.

I got reassured and had additional follow ups and my sight seemed to look like it was over corrected. I cannot speak more highly of Lumivison, Dr Jain and his staff. From start to finish I felt completely comfortable and had any questions answered very quickly. On the day of the surgery I felt fully prepared for what to expect and the nurse was so lovely, reassuring me everything will be okay when I got slightly emotional about finally being able to see! The aftercare was also amazing from Dr Jain, he gives you his number for any questions you may have or concerns, I personally have very dry eyes and had a slight hiccup around 6 days after. Best decision I have ever made! I had been to several clinics prior to visiting lumivision as I wanted to make sure I was choosing the right surgery/surgeon to treat my eyes. I was previously on therapy for my short sighted vision called corneal therapy which changes the shape of my cornea. From the get go Dr Jain was honest, he didn’t turn me away because of my therapy but supported me through coming off it an made sure I was stable before surgery. What I really thought was great was that Dr Jain was the same doctor that would be carrying out the surgery that saw me on each consultation – something other clinics do not offer! So I knew I was in good hands. I was advised to go with the Lasek surgery which takes slightly longer to heal but was safer for my eyes considering my previous therapy and it was honestly worth it because I can see without glasses now and it is truly life changing! I am naturally a very worried person and Dr Jain reassured me and answered every single question and every one of my calls. The team on the day of the surgery were very calming and supportive, the pre-care and after-care was faultless any worry I had was resolved! I would recommend to everyone and wish I had done it much sooner! Thank you to him and his team!

From the first consultation through the various stages, including the aftercare, was excellent. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough both on value and service. Had both eyes treated about 3 weeks ago and Im 55 years old and was generally long sighted. I was aware that eyes can loose their ability to vary their focus with age, thus doctor Jain at lumivision informed me that I may still need glasses for close up vision..but he'll do his best. He has managed to bring out the best in both eyes and so at present I can see both distant and near vision to a good standard...good enough to not need glasses at all! I can honestly say my vision is still getting better little by little as time goes on. I actually had a previous scar on my right eye from an old metal work accident, which doctor Jain said could be a problem for Lasik when it creates a flap. Thus we discussed it and agreed I'd go for the other kind of surface laser removal on that eye (lasek or PRK). I found that it has been a bit more sore than the other eye and took a bit longer to settle down than the left eye, but the result now is very satisfactory. In fact I would say my right eye is just as good if not better than my left eye (doctor Jain also informed me that it was my dominant eye). My two eyes working together have now got all bases covered so I'm very happy. The clinic staff were very friendly and informative with good polite communication. I am so glad I found a good professional service and I actually decided to go for it based on some of the reviews I read...so now I add my review to rest. I had wanted laser eye surgery for a very long time and so researched various consultants and when I came across Dr Jain I instantly knew I should opt to get my treatment from him. All of the reviews regarding Dr Jain were brilliant and on doing my own research ; I learnt that not only was Dr Jain highly educated and experienced but also a very humble and giving being: I found that he treated people back in Rajasthan in India as part of charitable work and so for me it was a no brainer to opt for Dr Jain to do my surgery. I was so impressed with how personable Dr Jain was in my initial consultation and I recall asking him about how to go about paying a deposit and felt no immediate pressure to make a decision there and then; unlike other high street providers. Dr Jain was just so thorough and informative and I found this most reassuring. Firstly, they’ve taken all necessary precautions to minimise/reduce the potential spread of COVID, including taking temperature checks, offering sanitizer before entering the clinic, and reducing the number of staff on site to the bare minimum. Extremely impressed. My daughter had laser eye surgery here after first dealing with Optical Express. We found them to be very expensive, distant, officious and pushy. They quoted one price then put it up, then offered a lower price, then denied it. So we approached Lumivision. My initial consultation with Dr Jain was not at all rushed. He made me feel relaxed about the procedure, went through everything thoroughly and was happy to ask all my questions. Due to a last minute holiday being booked and then an extended holiday I had to reschedule. Dr Jain was happy to do this. His booking system is flexible and accommodating. This showed me Dr Jain is committed in getting the best results for each individual. My night vision and distance vision is enhanced 20/20 which is marvelous. On a negative I did not reading glasses before but I do now. Apparently this is because of my age. I went to my Opticians’s to get a pair of readers and he remarked at how excellent my vision was now and looking at my eyes he was very impressed with the appearance of my eyes having undergone surgery. He asked me how much I had paid and said that I had got laser surgery on both eyes at excellent price with Lumivision.
