Online purchase. My wifes new bifocal glasses are perfect. She put them on and initially had a few moments getting used to the new prescription, they are more powerful now, but then kept them on for the rest of the day. They are perfectly comfortable and she was able to multitask, as she likes to do, painting pictures on her tablet and watching the TV at the same time. She says these are as good as the High Street ones and I’m pleased that they were a little bit cheaper too. Carol was impressed by the fit too, they stay on and don’t slip down.I must add that it was a pleasure dealing with your company, when we telephoned you we were never put on hold, and our call was handled in a friendly and professional manner. The same with the email.

Just collected my Armani glasses exactly one week after having a thorough eye test. I spent nearly two hours trying different frames but never felt I was over staying my welcome. Prospec have an excellent attitude and skill towards customer service and I highly recommend them. Long gone are the days of Tesco buy one get one pair free!

Would just like to thank Teresa and Mike for their professional and friendly service. I damaged the lens on a recently purchased pair of glasses from them, and they got them repaired for me with no problems due to the quality of lens I had originally purchased. From the minute I called Prospecs at Birstall I was treated impeccably. I provided an existing prescription as I wanted to use some frames of my own that had old lenses in and this was no problem I was told. I had a call a week later to say my glasses were ready to collect and I am so happy with the quality of the lenses as I have varifocals and I had previously had issues with the variance however these are spot on! I will definitely return when I need an eye test and would strongly recommend Prospecs to anyone needed glasses. Well done!!

Excellent service as always. Needed a new pair of distance glasses and reglazed reading glasses...tried various frames and no rush and lots of choice, classic for us not so daring clients and very modern for younger clients. Had phone call 3 hours later to say both pairs ready for collection. Staff very attentive and informative. I decided to try Prospecs as I hadn't been able to find a frame I liked at my usual opticians locally. Prospecs had a large range that I could choose from at very competitive price ranges (starting from about £39). I didn't have any trouble finding ones that I liked and actually struggled to make a final decision due to having lots of options. Teressa talked me through the different options on the lense types, the different coatings benefits and made sure that I was fully informed to make the best choice for my requirements. The pricing was very good and I ended up with 2 pairs for a similar price paid previously for 1 pair. I have just picked them both up and the quality is best I've ever had. I have no problem recommending them as they really are highly skilled and knowledgable, as well as being very helpful.

Had a superb service from Mike who didn’t give me the pushy sales like you get at the larger optician chain stores. He suggested a few frames suitable for the shape of my face and left us to look at the choice and a few others. I chose a very light pair of Adidas frames and chose the options for my varifocals lenses and then let me have a pair of distance glasses which are now going in for tinting as sunglasses. I would wholeheartedly recommend this business!

What a great guy. My snooker glasses needed new lenses in them and I'd been into the high street "supermarkets" but they weren't really that interested. These High Street supermarkets' main interests are for fast turnover expensively framed glasses. Mike really wanted to help and made the lenses to suit my frames. Would recommend this business for "normal" glasses as well as specials. Thirty odd years ago the high street companies came into being offering cheap glasses with the result that they put the small independents out of business. Once they'd got the lion's share of the market their prices went up dramatically. Nice to see someone who is fighting back with service as their best weapon.
