Hello all, I've been using saffron eye care for a few years now! I went this morning for an eye test and purchased some new and well needed glasses! It's a lovely friendly place! The staff are are lovely and very helpful! I would highly recommend to everyone!

Bought my mum for her eye test and we were pleasantly surprised, The staff are so kind and helpful especially with mum who is hard of hearing. Mum was very pleased with her eye test and felt the optician listened well, he really put her at rest answering her questions. I will definitely be booking my appointment in the new year. Normally i go to the large high street opticians but felt i wasnt getting a very personal service and didnt like the upselling once the eyetest was done. I went to saffron eyecare and it was excellent. I feel like the optician listened to the problems i was having and i now feel confident i am going to be getting the best treatment will end up with glasses that i feel comfortable wearing. I would definately recommend going here if u are due an eyetest.

We attended today for the first time with our 4.5 year old daughter who has complex care needs, after seeing Saffron Eyecare recommended on a Facebook special needs parent support page. Calling and attending for todays appointment, all three staff that we have met have been kind, knowledgeable, covid safe and provided really excellent service. We are so pleased to have found such a lovely, independent opticians who are excellent with children with additional needs and disabilities. It was stress free and they have such a lovely wide selection of styles and colours of glasses for children, to suit all budgets.

He has always found Riz to be extreamly calm patient and fully explains everything before hand. They made sure she was comfortable and gave her the opportunity to ask questions. Nothing was rushed and they included her in the conversation rather than talking about her like she wasn't there. Had problems with spec saver glasses so I went to saffron eye care they sorted me out straight away they found I had dry eyes so gave me drops went back after four weeks for the eye test was about 30 minutes he was very precise in what he was doing then I picked my new glasses the ladies are very helpful and told you exactly what was best for you no pressure well done all of you Did not feel like I was on a conveyor belt like the other opticians like a little family highly recommended get your glasses from them you will be very happy

The tests are very comprehensive, they don’t sell you items you don’t need and the stock of frames is extremely varied. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable and they will tell you if you don't suit the frames you are trying on, in a lovely and subtle way!
