My nieces went her for eye tests and then I took them back to collect their glasses. We was very early but they fit us in so we didn't have to wait around. The lady was thorough with ensuring the glasses fit and adjusted them when needed. We were not rushed and we were all very happy with the customer service.

I have always use specsavers to get my eyecare,however 1 of my Glasses handle fell off. When into the shop i told what happened they took the glasses and i was told they would try and find twovmatching handle. I waited a while before i was seen to. Low and behold this man came to assist me he went off to look for the handle that could match the frame that i had . So the left handle came of so he would have to change both,he only remove the left one and said he can only find one to replace.by this time i am fuming i have to ask him if he would wear the glasses like that ,so the original handle was still on with the new one that he replace it with . I had to ask him to get whoever is in charge of him.His boss came over went and find a matching handle to fit the glasses and he had to apologise because he could clearly see that i was very upset to be truthful i was planning on going somewhere else to get my eyes sorted after that happen. It clearly felt that i was to leave the shop looking like i am was in a circus act .

I had my first ever eye test at this branch when I was 6/7 years old and I still remember how comfortable they made me feel. Nearly 13 years later and nothing has changed - every optometrist I’ve had has been professional, yet friendly. I don’t think I’ve ever really had a bad experience here. The only thing that they could improve on is the range of non-designer glasses. I, personally, find it stressful choosing glasses and if there was a wider array to choose from/new designs it would make picking a pair out easier. But saying that, the optometrists always give their honest opinion as to what suits me and what doesn’t - which I appreciate greatly.

The staff are great,they found a swelling on the eye referred to hospital for scan which showed a tumour. Tumour was grade 3 astrocytoma which was then operated on by the brain surgeon at Nottingham University Hospital,so a big thank you to Specsaver's

Specsavers stores in general are great I have been doing my eye tests and getting glasses from Specsavers since 2014. I went to several Specsavers stores in the UK, and the one in Leicester town centre is unfortunately where I got the lowest experience. Everything was in place to allow distance and safety since I went in the middle of a lockdown, but I was not clearly told the fees I would be charged for the consultation before taking it. Having been to other Specsavers, I assumed the experience would be the same, but it is not.

I had a problem with a build up of wax in both ears, but where do you go in pandemic Britain? A friend mentioned that SpecSavers offered a service to clear wax, so I booked an early appointment at their Leicester branch on line. The treatment was excellent, both ears cleared, hearing fully restored I would have given them six stars!

I had my eye test done a week ago and I was very impressed with the service and personnel. It's started with a lady in reception - Magda. She was very kind, polite and friendly. She explained me whole procedure very clearly. She advised me about the new service, which I was very pleased with. Unfortunately, I don't know the names of the other two ladies who do my eye tests. However, they were very knowledgeable and clearly explained to me everything they were doing, so I know what to expect. The optician- Chandni, was a very nice person, knowledgeable about the job she is doing. She answered my questions and explained everything clearly. Amina R. Was a person who I saw as a last. Good choice of frames. Eye tests are done efficiently and professionally. They cover a wide range of tests as part of your sight test including eye pressures, back of the eye health, colour blindness, cornea, visual fields check as well as your sight test. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I found they provide good advice on spectacles. They also offer contact lenses as well as hearing tests. Prices are about the same as other similar opticians but I found the service to be very good. I would definitely recommend Specsavers.

Great opticians!, never been here before? I hadn't untill a few weeks ago and I was amazed. They give you a full eye health check and if you pay just a few extra pounds they give you 3D eye health check. The prices are very reasonable and is popular with people around the city. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great experience again at Specsavers in Belgrave Gate. Didn't have to wait at all before the process began and then it was seamless from start to finish. All the processes are fully explained to you so you know why they are being done. When you are with the actual optician he/she explains all about your eye health and shows you the pictures taken. You then go to get your glasses and the staff are really helpful in ensuring you get what is right for your face etc. You don't feel rushed throughout the process. A week later my new glasses were ready and fitted perfectly. Excellent service.

A large branch with many opticians and a very quick and professional service. They will fix your glasses if you get them from them without charge and very quickly. Easily accessible in town. No parking on site but you can use the Argos carpark at the back for £1 an hour.

I went today with my elderly father to the audiologist at specsavers on Belgrave Gate. We saw an excellent chap called Jake who immediately put us at ease explaining the processes for the ear ax removal followed by a series of hearing assessments. The service was top class I have to say with Jake proving very professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and with a good sense of humour. My father has chosen aids and returns in just a couple of days for fitting etc. Assuming the remainder of the fitting and follow ups go as well as today then I would highly recommend.

If the average person has an appointment, they can expect to be in there for approximately 90 minutes. Woe betide them if they need a toilet. They have no public toilets. Strictly Staff Only. Customers are directed to the public toilets in the public transport station located 500+metres away.
