What a revelation! I have always bought my specs from one of two High Street outlets, the service they gave was good, I needed new specs so I decided to try Simply Specs if for no other reason it was nearer. The service is excellent, fitting is really tailored to the individual, without the rushing that the other outlets wanted. My new specs, the same prescription as the older ones, I had clearer vision, and could read the smaller print easier than the older ones, which I have put down to a better quality lens than I got from the entry level quality lens from the High Street opticians. This is not a cheap alternative to the High Street opticians, what you get is a better quality service, and a better quality product for around the same price.

Rarely do you get outstanding customer service, a brilliant product, an expert technical service and incredible value -delivered in an unbelievably quick time -by lovely, genuine sincere people with first rate communication. Simply specs delivered all this in spades. I was totally delighted to be recommended my alternative to varilux lenses and find them fitted in less than three days and be better than my previous lenses and at a much better price. I will never go anywhere else and neither should you. Try the best and forget the rest- there is no competition.

I doubt I'll go to another high street glasses store again! I heard about simplyspecs through a recomendation as I struggle to find glasses that suit my face and that I like. The service here is absolutely outstanding. The gentleman who served me couldn't do enough to help as he suggusted frames and gave me lots of pairs and choices to try on! Really friendly, warm and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable and not pressured into make a choice. I must have been there over 45minuites and this wasn't an issue. The prices are extremely good for what you get and the fit I find is so much better than places I have been before. With regards to safety measures in place due to Covid 19, this is absolutely above and beyond and no one should feel uneasy as even though it's a service with an item going on a face all unwanted items go into a cleaning device (that looks like a microwave!) and there are screens and good use of PPE and customer entry control/sanitiser. I would highly recomend to all. Excellent service. Very impressed.

Ian and the Simply Specs team couldn’t have done more to help us when my wife and I needed glasses. We’ve ordered glasses twice now and both times they have made the whole process quick and easy. This time round I had to write a review as they went out of their way to help our son. He was a little bit restless while we were trying on glasses and Ian chatted to him. My son then asked Ian how glasses were made and Ian went out of his way to show him, including letting my son keep a lens as a souvenir. This made my son’s day and he is carrying around the lens wherever he goes and telling people how glasses are made! If you’re looking for a very affordable, friendly and caring place to go for glasses, there’s no better place in Lincoln.

Ian, Kate and staff are very helpful, not pushy and the service is first class and next to none. The visit is enjoyable and I would more than recommend it. It is worth travelling from afar.
